Is the rest of Meesei's pack present? I think Sabine might be off dealing with Rhajul and Yerig's orientation and possibly poaching for packmates.

Yes, I suspect they would spot Meesei by now. I'll write them in during my next post. Sorry, I momentarily forgot about them.

I'm about to get on a plane, though, so I'll be inactive for a bit.

So, full disclosure, that previous plane was a weekend trip to my grandparents' wedding anniversary. I'm getting on another plane on Thursday (your Wednesday) and that one is taking me to the USA.

Suffice it to say, I may be a bit less active in the coming days. I start work on the following Monday but I'll be doing other bureaucratic nonsense as I get settled in.

Your timezone is indeed going to be a lot closer to mine now. Roughly 9:30 PM there, right?

Also, for gaming purposes, ping between central and west coast is much, much better than the opposite side of the planet.

Yep, sweet old pacific standard time. We might actually be able to play something faster than Smite.

I might have to get a better computer, though. My little Asus notebook is half-decent but it ain't exactly butch hardware.

So, once you get settled in, what are your hours going to be like?

The only solid detail I know for sure is 'full time.' I might do a flexible thing wherein I trade more hours one day for fewer on a future day. There might be times where I have to just stay in late to finish stuff. I honestly can't be sure. I'll update you as I get more certain.

I'm a bit surprised they would take you across the globe without giving you something more solid. It is quite a bit of trouble to do so. You did get compensated for travel, didn't you?

I did have my travel compensated. To be honest, the exact hours will depend on the team and projects that I end up working on. I have been put into contact with my managers on my team, so I can ask them for a more solid answer than my recruiter gave me. However, I expect things will get much clearer once I go through orientation.
