Personality: She is a very timid person around the people she works for. She is always wanting to help out more and more trying to make sure she does the best job she can. She knows in a place like this that there are many things that could get her kicked out or fired.
Backstory: She grew up in an orphanage since before she could remember. The caretakers said that her parents were living on the streets and knew that I deserved better then that. She always wondered if she would run into her family one day but she hasn't made any attempt to find them. She got this job and has been trying to become a possible servant in the future to better help the household.

Raphael Baum

Personality: If Raphael is not working on the grounds, he can be found with his head in a book. He is ashamed of how smart he is but only works as a groundskeeper, but he never went to school. His poor family would never have been able to afford to send him to school so he seeks out knowledge through books. He can be social but he does need to warm up to people.
Backstory: He grew up in a very poor house. They barely even had enough money to eat every night. His father worked for different rich families on their lawns and gardens. When Raphael was 12 he was put to work with his father to learn the tricks to the job. He worked for different families before finding the Alder Family.

Lady Alder

Personality: She is a very calm person except when she is doing something she is passionate about. She is always very proper and is usually placed in charge of setting up social gatherings. She is very loving mother but not too controlling of her son.

Skills: Well rounded, including training in combat.

Personality: She is very into the Gothic aesthetic, probably because she did not have many choices as a child....But otherwise she is cold and distanced, unless someone will break down her guards and walls. The moment they do that they will have a loyal friend and bodyguard. She will fake smiles as well, though it is a farce. Very rarely will she feel anything.

Backstory(Optional): As a young child she was drafted into a top secret organization known only as Project Black Ice, a place where they train deadly assassins from the time they can walk. She never knew the love of a parent, instead all she knew was combat and how to kill using her pinky and whatever she could get her hands on. Then, after she killed a comrade when truly they tried killing her first, she was discharged from the military with no honors but no dishonors. She wandered on her own, surviving off the land when Lord Alder found her and gave her a job at thirteen as a servant, and she matured into a beautiful young woman, certainly, but is distant from all.

Personality: You may call her a goody-two-shoes while she's working. Anastasia's won't speak to her masters unless it is needed; she will follow her orders and she will do her job. However, whenever Anastasia isn't cooking/gardening or doing any of her duties, she might be found in the forest either collecting herbs/forest fruits or secretly practising archery. She tries to avoid insulting people and enjoys reading and writing poetry.

Backstory(Optional): Anastasia spent the most of her childhood with her mother in a comfortable home, due to her father training in the army. Her mother was in the middle class and worked as a doctor, meaning that she did afford education and a house that was big enough for her family of three, whereas her father was of the lower class.

Her mother, being of the middle class, taught her how to do the household chores, read, write and simple embroidery skill. She also provided Anastasia with the knowledge of medicine and her father taught her archery. All these lessons she enjoyed and happily attended them.

When she was 15, her parents died while travelling to her aunt across the country. Upon hearing about their death, she looked for a job. After a few weeks of searching, she was employed by the Alders. Anastasia worked there ever since.

𝓟erѕonalιтy: Despite his youthful appearance, Nicolas has a very serious nature and tries to handle things maturely. He is naturally arrogant and full of pride, though is strangely not the type to boast. While having a mild temperament, Nicholas is exceedingly patient and doesn't allow anger to get the better of him. He believes it is not of his class to lose composure.

Sociability is not Nicholas's strongest point, and being a man of few words means he expresses himself through his actions. He often feels awkward when around people, but he does try his best to make an effort to be polite. If given a choice, Nicholas will stay away from groups and any commotion nearby. For him, company means trouble. He prefers to only take care of his own problems and would most likely reject any assistance offered. If ever due help was (forcefully) given, Nicholas will always attempt to return the favor no matter what. Despite not wanting to meddle in someone else's problems, he will not simply dismiss it because of his sense of justice. He grew up believing it is in the nature of a lord to settle trifles in the territory he reigns in. Just as much as he amends every kindness, he also pays back each cruelty... Though more generously than the former.

Nicholas is ruthless in physical confrontation and would fight his all in respect of treating all opponents equally. Once a fight breaks lose, he will not back down easily since he believes his pride as a swordsman is at stake. Although, he never unsheathes his rapiers unless it is established that it's a "duel to the death". He will fight with the iron scabbards on when he is engaged into a spar or a battle he deems unnecessary. He also has a strong conviction to never cheat in battles by the rules he grew up with. This means that he will never resort to dirty tricks even in a desperate situation.

Overall, he is a very kind person even though he doesn't want to admit it.

Name: Roland Myle

Skills: Street-savvy, well-connected, keen eyesight, boxing and knife-fighting

Personality: Sarcastic and witty despite the circumstances of his birth, while not educated in the traditional sense he is very street savvy and finds himself at home in the back alleys and shady establishments. While he comes off as lax and flippant he is extremely loyal to the Alders and the rest of the staff. Still, the only thing that gets his heart beating is a good scrap.

Backstory(Optional): The illegitimate Mulatto son of a well-off merchant, Roland grew up without the guidance of a father. When his mother died of an illness when he was young, he bounced from port to port picking up whatever work he could find. When he was 13 he eventually made his way to London where he found more stable work in the citie's underground, working for all sorts of gangs and crooks. During this period of his life, he picked up many of his skills during this time in his life such as his boxing while fighting in underground fights as well as his love of a good blade from other endeavours. He became so infamous he began to be known as "Barghest" after the ghostly black dogs of folklore. Roland met his match however when he tried his hand and pillaging the Alder Manor. Needless to say, he got caught and instead of having him arrested Lord Alder took him in instead. Roland is still confused as to why but his code of honor dictates his loyalty to the Alder family now.
