EDIT: Also, though this might be a bit of a stretch, maybe Boogie's shades were the monsters Mothman encountered in Astmona's tower? Terror has visited several different worlds, and, while she didn't go out of her way to conquer them, I know she'd try to track down and remove anyone that might interfere with her feeding. The great mother would definitely qualify. Just a thought.

Since some of them, like Boogie and Red, own businesses it must've been at least a year or so since the Great Exodus. Did you two have a specific period of time in mind?

It's a little fuzzy, in terms of the current date I've personally seen it as taking place some point near the late eighties (Though liberties can be taken there what with fantastical enchantments and magic etc.)

As for how long the Tales have been around..... Hm, It'd have to be a fair bit of time (Which for Tales, time isn't really a big deal to them) I'd personally see it somewhere around the twenty year mark give or take

@Lexicon, @Utrax Eh, like I said it's really not that harshly enforced honestly. It's just the time frame, some things like mortal technology are the same for that era but everything else is a little bit more lax

@Drag The technology was the part I was worried about lol. I mean, PCs did exist after a fashion and so did cell phones, but they obviously weren't nearly as advanced as what we have today. Ultimately, it's not a big deal and better to find out now than after the RP starts lol.

I'm writing up a lore page with some more info on the world and Tale anatomy, something that in hindsight I really should have done when making this at the beginning lol. It might not answer every question but hopefully it should make things more straightforward.

@Drag And I'm assuming, unlike the mortals of this time period, Tales are more accepting of women in positions of authority, jah? From what I can recall from history class, women weren't exactly involved in many major decisions during the 80s. And they typically didn't own businesses.

@Utrax Gender and race are kind of irrelevant to Tales given that there's 80ft Dragons and physical embodiments of terror among their ranks so I wouldn't imagine anyone having a problem with it that way XD

She's probs on the strong side. Campr and Cimpr are her main aces in the hole, since there's no real way to get around them.

Lol I could totally see her pissing someone off on accident and then totally forgetting about it.
