Tyson

Tyson was currently in the forest with Quinn, it was meant to be a normal camping trip but things were about to get a whole lot more interesting for the two. He had just finished setting up his tent and then stood up to face Quinn with a smile on his face. Slver was perched neatly on a tree just above them.

"Hey, I'll go get some fire wood for us. I won't be long."

He did just that, he collected sticks, branches and whatever else he could find. As he continued onwards everything changed before his eyes. He stopped for a moment and rubbed his eyes then looked around. There was a small camp site, with strange animals he had never seen before. He stepped backwards and everything changed back to the forest he knew, he then stepped forwards once more. He did this several time until eventually ran back to Quinn calling out her name when he got close enough for him to hear he was already panting and out of breath.

"Quinn! Quinn! You have to come here! Just follow me! You won't believe what I found! I can't explain, you have to see!"

He ran back towards the split in space as he did Silver took off to follow.

Julia

Julia was at that camp site, she hadn't noticed Tyson the first few times but just as he turned around to run back she came out of her tent and saw him. She held out her hand and let out a shout.

"Hey wait! Awe, he's gone. Oh well."

She couldn't follow him, it was forbidden to go to the other side. If humans ever saw the creatures who lived here they would freak out, and perhaps they were right. She looked up to Red who sat on her head before she went back in her tent.

Quinn

Quinn gave a small smile and nod to Tyson as he went off to fetch some fire-wood. He appreciated Tyson being here for this trip. It had been so long since he had gone camping, and it was nice to do with a friend. He sat down on the log they had set up around. He thought they would just be on a camp-site to be out and roughing-it in the deep woods. Honestly he was a little bit nervous but Tyson's skills with animals and general confidence helped ease his worrying. Just as he settled to listen to the sounds of the forest, he heard fast approaching footsteps, and the sound of an excited Tyson. He just sort of nodded and looked at the other boy bewildered. He smiled and gestured to lead the way. "Let's go then!"

Keeping pace behind his friend they ran towards the split, and in a short bit he was in another world, quite literally. He took one step past Tyson and wham. He was in a slightly new place, with weird creatures about. One in particular also seemed to be camping. She was short and brightly colored. And she made Quinn freeze. He was shocked to say the least, and didn't know what to do. Going pale...er, he froze up with hair on end. "UhHh" Slipped out of his mouth.

Liarty

The dark figure moved through the forest. A sullen look on his face, he stepped around bush and over roots as if he had walked this path a thousand times. And he likely had, as there was a trail of dirt made in the grass. He ducked under a branch, and over the crest of a bramble, he could see the orange glow of a campfire. The corner of his lips tipped lower still, and his brows knit ever so slightly. He flexed his right arm slightly as if a reflex. He was readying his quick-draw, just in case. He didn't think people would come around here. He only lived near the boundary so that others would stay away. Oh well, there's stupid people everywhere. Or bandits.

He stepped carefully, and closer. Drawing in like a shadow behind a tree, to see a boy standing frozen and confused wearing odd clothing. Across the campfire was a Lalafell, seemingly unaware of her guest. He squinted at the boy. Was he from the other side? That could be dangerous. He decided to switch from his one handed weapon to his larger one. Tapping the red tipped finger to an insignia on the bottom of the crossbow. Flames kill humans right? Probably. It does most things.

Tyson

Tyson reached the other side with Quinn and smiled, this place was amazing. He smiled brightly then turned to Quinn, not seeing the Lalafell just yet.

"I found this place, whatever it is and had to show you. This is a discovery of a life time!"

He smiled again and Silver landed on one of the trees. Immediately Silver let out a loud Squark and swooped down at the half elf holding a fire bow and with his talons, knocked the weapon out of his hands.

Julia

Julia heard voices soon after the male left and got up to see who had arrived. It was the same boy as before as well as another person, perhaps a friend of his. Suddenly she heard a warning call of an Eagle and immediately knew who it was going to be. She turned around and held out her hand and with that the fire went out.

"Don't you dare Liarty!"

She had never personally met him, but she saw him in the area a few times. He seemed to come down here often and she had heard his name more than once. Finally she turned to her guests with a smile coming up to their legs.

"Hey don't look down on me just because I'm small! Haha, get it?"

She laughed at her own joke before speaking again.

"Hello there, my name is Julia and I'm a Lalafell. Welcome to the world of Acadia. (frst thing that came to mind.) I know this is a lot to take in, take your time but please, you have to keep this secret to yourself. Your kind isn't ready for this kind of discovery yet. If you promise you will keep our secret then I will personally show you around."

She smiled then looked back to Liarty making sure he wasn't trying anything else. By now Silver was on Tyson's shoulder and Red was peering out from hiding behind Julia's head.

Quinn

A lot was happening fast. First, new world. Pretty big deal. Second, Tyson is unfazed by this. Not entirely surprising, but still. Third, a little lady was now talking to them, and indeed saying this was a new world. Great. Fourth, a strange man with a crossbow who looks less then pleases was just clawed by Silver, which can't exactly be the best first impression.

"So uhh." Quinn let his mouth hang open, not entirely sure how to go about this all. "You're not going to go back to our camp are you?" He asked to Tyson already knowing the answer. His friend couldn't ignore adventure. Quinn looked down and smiled awkwardly, trying to match the peppy little one's friendliness. He couldn't help but keep his eyes darting up to the tall slender man though. He was muttering and picking up his weapon.

Liarty

Lousy stupid hawk. Shouldn't have seen me. I can hunt the shit out of hawks. The half elf muttered quietly as he re-armed himself. As he had his hands on his weapon, he let it slowly lower to a less threatening position. While he was eyeing up the gleeful looking kid out of the pair, he also had a particular death glare for the Lalafell. Julia, as it would seem. He should have guessed it would be her, she's the only one who spends any time around here. It got under his skin that she had somehow learned his name. It's not like he went around saying it for no reason. She must have found one of his tagged belongings. His pendant maybe? It's got his named scratched into the back, and it's been missing since a hunt a while back.

"What, pray tell. The fuck is happening here?" His voice was cold, like rain on stone. It was also flat and incredibly dry. He spoke with a low sort of drabness. No excitement at all. He crooked his neck to look at the two boys and Julia. "You know, they probably shouldn't be allowed to leave right?"

Tyson

Tyson jumped as Silver gave a warning call. He looked to the pointy eared man, elf maybe? He wasn't sure. He guessed the small girl child was a Lalafell, so a really small human apparently, with pointed ears too. She also had a pet.

"We don't mean any harm. We won't tell anyone about this place besides why would we leave but you really should watch that language around children."

He didn't mean any offense to her, he really did think that Julia was a child, she was so small and looked too cute, like a child. There was no way she was an adult, right?

Julia

Julia smiled at Tyson at first, glad he made the promise to keep the secret however as soon as he continued she grew angry. She hated people thinking she was a child, however she quickly calmed herself down by taking a deep breath.

"I'll have you know I'm twenty years of age. I'm just small, not a child but because you promised to keep this place a secret I'll be your tour guide. What are your names?"

She looked to Liarty for a moment and then smiled to him.

"He has got a point though, you should be more welcoming."

She turned to Tyson and then to Quinn, waiting for her answer.

Quinn

Quinn got a little nervous when the small one seemed upset. He was worried that maybe she might sic the gloomy one on them. But luckily she seemed to be a good sport, and quickly corrected Tyler before re-offering her kind touring idea. Quinn nudged Tyler gently with his elbow. Come on man, we're in a new world, short people can be grown ups. With a sigh and swallowing back a lot of fear, Quinn tried to let his shoulders relax a little, instead of standing all clenched up.

"Well, since I guess we're staying here." He glanced again to the tall man. Noticing this didn't brighten their mood. "It would be very kind of you to show us around, thank you." He wasn't sure if kneeling down to be more level with her would be rude. So he stood, awkwardly trying not to impose physically upon Julia.

Liarty

This was getting asinine. Not only was this woman inviting those from the other side, but she was potentially getting him in trouble. Liarty didn't like trouble. He liked silence. Wait...maybe this isn't so bad. If she has something to distract her and take her elsewhere, that's all fine and good. Not only that but it's not like he has associated with them in any way, beyond threatening to kill them.

"You know what? Fine. If you're going to head out that's fine. I won't tell if anyone asks. You can harbor these...trespassers, and be on your merry way." He lifted his crossbow to lean against his shoulder, taking his fingers far away from the trigger. "I won't be bothering you if you intend on leaving my forest." And with that, he was done. He turned to leave with a small feeling of satisfaction, before stopping. Wait.

"Actually. One moment." He said turning back. "Little one, how did you know my name?" He raised a wiry brow up in questioning. If she had found his pendant, he wanted it back.

Tyson

Tyson rubbed the back of his head, he wasn't expecting that at all. She was so small and child like. She watched as the other man finally left leaving them with the small person.

"So, where to?"

He smiled, this was a whole new world there could be hundreds of places they could visit, but which place was she going to take them to? Surely she wasn't going to show them the WHOLE world, that would take a lifetime. More so in fact.

Julia

Julia smiled and waved her hand. She had forgotten the mistake Tyson made. After all most people who saw Lalafell thought they were children. It was annoying but they were all used to it by now. She looked to Liarty before he left and spoke.

"I've heard people talk to you and speak your name. I see you come here a lot."

She smiled then looked back to the two visitors.

"Follow me."

She led them away, going deeper into the forest. She would of walked for a few minutes until eventually they got to a small gate. Julia opened it and showed them in and what they saw before they eyes was astonishing. Absolutely Beautiful.

"Wellcome to the City of Lalafell, Violet Grove."

All around there were Lalafell everywehere. She smiled before turning back to the two to see their reactions.
