It's Anya's preferred method for helping people who get stuck in VR. It's a quick exit. (Already done it earlier.) But I'm not sure what it will mean to Miri. I don't think she will get shot now anyway.

I actually need Anya to die in here at some point. It's important for her storyline.

Excessive pain, stress, confusion or in the case of imminent death the system instantly boots you out and issues a cool down period. After that you can return.

Coz to Anya it's just that, a robot. Might as well be a talking toaster. It was being loud and an inconvenience.

Yea she has many flaws.
But nothing here is permanent, hence her blithe carefree attitude.
(She isn't afraid of a little PK'ing. Maybe there should be a system that highlights or hinders in game VR killers. Like no bar service or something?)
