Yavanna smiled gently at his encouragement. "You might see me, wearing it sooner than later." Yavanna said softly. Maybe he was right. And it being one of the thing that Yavanna had left off of her mother; it'd be nice to have it around her neck. Where she could keep it close with her, at all times. She felt the security and warmth of his arms wrap around her. Letting herself lean against his strong chest. She closed her eyes briefly, breathing in his scent. Her face slightly burried against his torso. Just soaking him in; not wanting to let go. Knowing he was willing to protect her, on this quest. To risk his life for her. Yavanna couldn't bare the thought of loosing him; if something had happened to him, whilst he was trying to protect her.

As she pulled back, to look up into his blue eyes. Yavanna felt the warmth of his fingertips against her creamy skin. His touch making her skin tingle. She slightly closed her eyes, leaning into his touch. As he was slowly leaning down towards her. Yavanna's heart skipped a beat. Was he about too...before her mind could even finish that thought. His lips touched hers, causing a spark to run down her entire being. Her lips gently moved against his. Her lips were soft, and smooth against his. Taking in the taste of his own lips. Her arm gently slide up, wrapping around his neck, as her hand rested on the back of it.

Legolas has his eyes closed, as he breathe in some of her air, and tried to memorize what she tasted like, resulting him to commit it to memory: It was a mix of flowers and honey, as well as clean water. All he could think about, was a stream surrounded by flowers. He wondered if he would ever find a place like that; give him a reminder of the princess, as well as find her in setting similar to it. His one hand remained around her waist, while his other stayed upon her face, gently resting upon her jaw.

Legolas couldn’t think of a time where they will ever be apart. He had a feeling; the urge, to stay by her side, and not let anything come to harm her. It was the moment that he realized that she was his one...

Yavanna savored the wonderful moment, shared between them both. As she was leaning against his chest. Savoring every little thing about it all. Nobody compared to Legolas, by far. There had always been something about him, that drew her closer and closer. And each moment, they had spent together, had her falling in love with the Elven Prince more. Her other hand gently slide up, touching his cheek. Her fingers brushed against his jawline lovingly.

Her body almost leaning more against his strong frame; not wanting to be apart from him. The thought of being apart from him, was heart-breaking in the least.

Legolas didn't dare to separate himself from the princess, but he knew there came a point where he had to let her go, and so, he did, the Elf Prince retracted his lips from her own, having to slightly pant, due to a lack of air. He had never felt that close to the girl, even that was what he secretly wished, considering that Yavanna was someone who had managed to open his eyes on life, as well as someone to relate to. He wondered if it was fate that tied them together, but he knew that she was someone whom he could latch onto, in times of need. As a result, it awoke something in him that he had never felt before. Right here, right now, he believed her to be a part of him...

He, however, did not separate from their embrace, having to let his forehead touch her own, and let this feeling shroud them.

The moment left Yavanna flushed; her cheeks rosey. Her heart racing inside of her chest from happiness...and she was left quiet breathless. Yavanna had never experienced anything like that before and her legs almost felt like Jelly. Wether they had met by chance or because destiny willed it; they were becoming one. Tied together, for more than one reason. But Yavanna wouldn't deny, that Legolas was her destiny. Her soulmate. Because, to her that's what he was.

As their foreheads met, resting against each other. Yavanna's nose lightly brushed against his, with love. Still holding onto him, in their embrace. Basking in the feeling, of their love.

Legolas kept his hold on the young Yavanna within their embrace, and mentally transferred his love for her, just by touching her forehead with his own, alone. He had no intentions of letting her go, and the fact that she was able to seemingly return the same feelings, he could only feel calm and relieved that she clearly expressed towards him. For that, he knew that it had to be destiny.

“I promise that I’ll protect you with my life, and I won’t stop until that promise is met”, the blonde said, having to finally open his icy-blue eyes, and gently place his hand against her cheek, brushing his thumb over the skin.

As she soaked every second of that moment in; Her love for the elven prince seemed to pour of her. From the singlest touch, aswell as the loving look in her eyes; any time she looked at him. Feeling, safe and content in his arms. Yavanna did not want to be anywhere else right now. Just here, in his arms. Where she felt, like she belonged the most. As she was still leaning against his chest. Yavanna looked up into his icy blue eyes as he spoke.

Her emerald eyes were filled with a softness of love and affection. But also worry shone through her hues. "I don't want anything to happen to you." Yavanna said softly. "I don't think, I could cope with that...if I lost you." She breathed out gently, leaning into his touch. Breathing him in. Yavanna had already lost, people that she cared about; Her own mother. Thorin and Fili, whom were like family to her. She couldn't bare to loose Legolas, if something bad would happen to him.

The words coming from the princess have flattered Legolas, to the point where he began to tighten his grip on her, as if intending to shield away from everything deemed malevolent and malicious. He tucked her head into her chest to show this, having to be his way of reassuring her that he was going to live. "I understand, nin mel (my love). I do not plan to leave your presence at any time, especially in a world like this", he reassured, having to put his hand behind the girl's head, and allow her to take in his comforting presence. "By tomorrow and beyond, we will vanquish the Dark Lord, and then, you and I will live peacefully in each other's arms. I don't plan, however, to die either", the Elf Prince explained, having to make his promise.

Yavanna held onto Legolas a little bit tighter. As he tucked her head a little bit, she almost curled up against his chest. Snuggled up into him more tighter, in their loving embrace. She closed her eyes; breathing him in. As she felt safe in his arms. Feeling the comfort and safety of his arms. In his arms, was the one place she could feel safe; in a world like this. His words about their future, living in peace after Sauron's defeat was a future to look forward to. "Good, you're not allowed to die." she said softly. Almost stubbornly. As Yavanna breathed in his scent. All she could think about was a happy future ahead of them; after all this would be over. "If only, the world were a better place and we didn't have to fear what's to come." No one knew what was to come. And that was scary.

The next early morning, everybody had managed to gain their well-needed rest before setting out on an expedition that could last for weeks, maybe months...or even years. There wasn't exactly any prediction as to when it may end, but all that mattered, was to accomplish the task at hand. The rations were packed, weapons were secure, and everyone was ready to depart at first light. The Fellowship containing thirteen members have bid their farewells, and they were on their way. As promised, Saeril kept her distance from the princess, Kili...and at a distance from everyone else. She was much too ashamed, having to become quite guilty for what happened the previous day. That being said, she trailed behind the entire group, having to be their eyes from the back, aside from Legolas, Tauriel, and Yavanna; the Elf Prince stayed close to the princess, as he had intended.

After crossing through valleys, prairies, and hills, the group decided to rest at a spot near the Misty Mountains.

In the morning, Yavanna had the locket that belonged to her mother around her neck. She had the servants make her a chain for it the previous evening. Wanting to keep it close to her, on such a journey. She was wearing, a new combat suit. It was silvery-blue. Her bow, arrows and sword from her sister Arwen were on her attired. Aswell as her four daggers, from Lake Town. With everything ready; but perhaps her nerves. It would be a lie to say, that she wasn't nervous. She was...not knowing what to expect from such a journey. Yavanna set off with the Fellowship early that morning.

The previous night; Frodo had been gifted a Mithrel Vest and Bilbo's old sword. 'Sting' Bilbo thought it proper, his nephew have good protection. After all, with old age catching up to Bilbo pretty quickly. He wouldn't be in need of those two things anymore.

It was clear, Kili, Yavanna and Saeril were avoiding each other. Kili stayed near Yavanna. Whom was up near the front of the group, with Tauriel, Legolas and Aragorn.
The journey was quiet, for a while. Until they took a break. Yavanna was sitting near by Legolas and Tauriel. Munching on some Elvish bread and an apple. As they were all resting, and having something to eat. Kili leaned his head back; looking up at the sunny sky. And feeling the warmth of the air on his face. Kili couldn't help but wonder how long this task would take. Weeks? Months? Years? Longer? No one knew. Only time would tell. But he had hopes, that they would succeed...one way or another. They had to. They were a team. 13 in this together.

Gandalf did recall to the group that they would be able to reach Mordor in a few months, if they continued to pass through the Misty Mountains. But then, Gimli protested and suggested for them to go through the mines of Moria; the very name gave Saeril the chills, as it gave very bad memories of what happened to the earlier lines of Durin's Folk. As much as she silently agreed with Gandalf to take the long way, but then, they had to get the task done, as soon as possible. So, the Grey Wizard agreed, but only when they really need to. For now, they were on a break. Legolas was on the lookout; same with Saeril, sporting her black combat suit, whilst having to not feel hungry (mainly because of her guilt), and having to stand farther away from the group. The Elf Prince took a glance at the princess and his closest friend, who remained by his side, before going to using his Elven senses to find anything out of the ordinary.

Merry and Pippin spent their time sword-training with Boromir and Aragorn, until Saeril spotted something in the distance; something that she knew too well. "Spies! From Saruman!", she announced, pointing to several black spots in the sky, which appeared to be approaching them. Legolas didn't hesitate to spread the word. "Crebain from Dunland!"

As they were resting; Yavanna and Tauriel were watching the young Hobbits training with Boromir and Aragorn. Which proved to be rather amusing, when they ended up tackling Boromir to the ground, shortly followed by Aragorn whom they tripped up because of his amusement towards the situation. It made Yavanna smile softly, at the merriment of the scene. The young Hobbits were willing to learn. But she couldn't blame them. They had to learn how to defend themselves eventually...especially on a mission like this.

"That's an awfully big cloud." Muttered Kili as he saw the large black thing in the distance. But for a cloud, it seemed to be moving quickly.
"I don't think, that's a cloud. It's moving too quickly." Yavanna said having spotted that aswell from where she was sitting. And surely enough. She was right. Not a cloud. Hearing the words of Legolas and Saeril, after that moment; she had helped urge everyone to hide.

Aragorn had quickly put out the fire, as he ducked into hiding; along with everyone else. Tauriel hid behind some large boulders, canoppied over with some trees, with two of the Hobbits and Kili. Yavanna ducked into the nearest bushes with Legolas. Whilst everyone had a hiding place of their own. Looking up, as they all waited for the spies to pass.

With the anomaly quickly approaching the group, Saeril and Legolas didn't hesitate to find cover from the birds, the eyes and ears of Saruman. The Elf Prince held onto the princess' hand, once it became clear that the Dark Lord may have started to scour across the lands to find his enemies/targets. It was of no doubt that the White Wizard would start assisting him to make this goal possible (since Gandalf had explained earlier that Saruman had gone corrupt, and was now against Middle Earth). Having to watch the birds fly around them from above, cawing out loud, for a few seconds, the group had to wait until they dispersed into the direction from whence they came.

Once it was clear for them to come out of hiding, Saeril looked at the departing birds in the distance, before glancing at Gandalf. "The southern lands are being watched. Other than the Crebain, many other foul creatures venture there, especially those who are the underlings of Sauron", she explained, voicing her knowledge on their enemy's intentions. "I know", he said, having to glance in the same direction before turning to look at the snowy mountains. "We don't have a choice but to go around. We must take the Pass of Caradhas".

Yavanna held onto Legolas' hand, as they were hiding from the spies. It took a little while, for the birds to pass...before they flew off in another direction; when they didn't spot them. Once it was clear. Everyone climbed out of hiding again. Yavanna staying close to Legolas.

"We should go through the Mines. Balin would give us a royal welcome." Gimli pressed again.

Yavanna sighed. "That's as a last resort Gimli..." she said before she glanced up towards the snowy mountains. Yavanna wasn't sure how much, they'd have to repeat that to Gimli before it would sink in. Mountain Pass it was. Once the group was ready to go again, they began to make their way towards the Mountain Pass.

As everyone glanced up towards the mountain. Tauriel could only hope, that nothing worse would come their way than the Crebain. But knowing what Saruman's intentions were, it was rather worrying. In case he would try and strike again. She shook her head hearing Gimli. The Stubbornness of Dwarves.

Saeril glanced back into the direction of where the birds came from, having to use her Elven senses to try and figure out where they may venture next. The last thing they needed was for the Crebain to turn around, and find them on the Mountain. She could only hope that they were, at least, kept unnoticed from the Dark Lord. As usual, she avoided the presence of Kili and Yavanna, as if they were just strangers to her, even though, deep down, she cared for them greatly, and continued to look out for the presence of anything that may wish them harm. However, she knew they weren't going to thank her, perhaps up to the point where they don't even care; they have already tossed her out into the rain. Did she deserve it? Still.

The conditions of the Caradhas was risky. Frigid wind was blowing within their faces, and the mortals were stuck tramping into the deep snow, as the Elves were able to withstand such conditions a lot more easily. Legolas temporarily let go of Yavanna, and took a few steps ahead, although remained of within a close distance. "I hear something faint within the air", he said. "It's Saruman!", Gandalf yelled, just as a piece of rock fell from the structure, nearly falling upon them yet only narrowly missing the cliff they were all standing upon. Out of instinct, Saeril opened her wing-cloak, and used her wings to shield the group from the falling rocks, similar to how she had done it to protect the company of Thorin Oakenshield from the Storm Giants.

As they ventured up the mountain. The snow was deep. It didn't bother most of them. Especially the elves; as they could withstand the violent temperature and the snow. But Boromir, and Aragorn along with Tauriel were doing their best to shield the Hobbits, with their cloaks. Aswell as helping them through the deep depth of the snow.

"Maybe we should turn around." Kili said worried, as they could hear the faint voice in the air. The Chanting was getting louder and louder.
"No! We have to go Forward." Gandalf told Kili. As the chanting got stronger, Gandalf knew this was getting dangerous.
"He's trying to bring down the mountain!" Aragorn yelled out, as the chanting got stronger and louder. The wind violently whipped at everyone's hair and exposed skin. As some of the rocks fell down. Gandalf began to counter chant, to ward of Saruman's spell. But it was too late.

Large amount of rocks and snow, fell down on the group. Yavanna let out a gasp, trying to shield Kili from Harm's way who was near her. But the force of the snow and rocks; sent her flying off of the edge of the mountain. Whilst it burried the rest of the company on the mountain top. Yavanna's scream, seemed to echo through the mountain...before there was silence. Only the sound of the wind and snow falling.

The wind was far too strong, and for them to try and continue taking this path, it has eventually become far too dangerous for everyone. As much as Saeril tried to give them some coverage, some of the snow was able to overpower, and eventually bury them. Legolas managed to briefly hear a scream, but before he could react, the snow was already upon them. He sprung out first, with Saeril slowly following, along with the others slowly following suit. By the time they did, the Elf Prince was already looking around, having to look down over the side of the cliff, with a worried look on his face. The scream sounded so much like Yavanna; he just knows that it was her. She couldn't have, could she? They were so high up. No one could have survived that fall, right? Was she dead? What if she managed to continue breathing? What if...?

Saeril stood next to him, worriedly looking down over the side with him. She was having the same thoughts as well, but then the same rage was building, just as she looked up into the distance of where the voice came from. If the princess was truly dead, the elder swore to give the White Wizard a swift death.

The group behind them were arguing once again on where to go; Boromir suggesting Gondor, with Gimli suggesting Moria. Gandalf knew that the mines were now shrouded in darkness, and it became highly-doubtful that it would be a safe passage. "Let the ring-bearer decide", he said, allowing Frodo to choose.

Tauriel sprung up, with a Hobbit in her arms. As one by one, the members of the Company, began to pop up. Kili frantically looked around for Yavanna; when he noticed she was nowhere. "Yavanna!" he yelled out; seeing Legolas and Saeril looking down over the edge. But no answer came. Kili felt anger hit him; was he loosing another family member? Wasn't it bad enough, that they lost Thorin and Fili?

Pippin and Merry looked to where Saeril and Legolas were looking down to. "She can't be dead..." Merry said. "Gandalf, do something." The Hobbit begged. Sad look in his eyes. The Princess was a sweet. They couldn't have lost her.

Tauriel looked shocked; feeling tears form in her eyes. Was Yavanna gone? Tauriel cared for Yavanna, she was a dear friend. She could see the pain on Legolas' face, as he was looking down to where Yavanna had fallen. Aragorn was shocked; was Yavanna gone? They lost one member of the company so soon? And Lord Elrond's daughter? That was the first thing imaginable. After they all promised to him, they'd look out for her.

The fall was long and edgy. At some point, Yavanna tumbled a little bit. Before she finally stopped, at one of the lower ledges. Unconscious. Half buried in the snow. She had scratches all over her face. And most likely bruised ribs, as well as a head injury from hitting rocks. Her breathing shallow...but it was there. Her finger slightly twitched.

Yavanna could hear voices. 'Legolas needs you, child. It's not your time.' The voice gentle and loving. It belonged to her mother.
The second voice was familiar. And brought back an aching feeling that reminded her of the Lonely Mountains and The Battle of the Five Armies. 'Live to fight another day. You're not destined to join me and Fili, in the beyond. It's not your time.' It was one and only Thorin.

All of a sudden; Yavanna saw images fill her head: She could see her beloved Legolas on the edge; looking down. The pain in his expression made her heart ache. She saw how distraught the company seemed. So much sadness.

"Let the ring-bearer decide", A familiar voice spoke, over the bickering of some of the Company. Allowing Frodo to choose." Gandalf's voice rung inside of her head. His voice loud and clear. Almost like he was standing over her.
"We shall go through the Mines." Frodo finally announced; as he came to a conclusion.

And so, as Frodo willed it. The company were to head to the Mines of Moria. Down on the lower levels of the mountain. Yavanna was slowly waking up, with groan of agony. Her head was spinning...and her body aching.

Even while they began to move, Legolas and Saeril continued to look down over the cliff, as if to still find any trace of the princess. But, there was nothing. It was at that point where they had to give up the search and continue their advancement. It hurt the Elf Prince on the inside of his heart, considering that the feeling he held for the girl, was far stronger than he had previously realized. Unlike Saeril, he wasn't the vengeful type, but if it means to preserves Yavanna's memory, then he will finish this task. For her. He held the necklace that was around his neck, having to hold it close to his heart, as he continued to follow suit with the rest of the group. He was going to do this for her, as well as the rest of Middle Earth, of which she had come to love.

Saeril could have sworn that she had heard something very faint in the wind, but she couldn't pinpoint what it was in time, since it had managed to disappear completely. The winged she-elf made a mental note to end Saruman's life when she had the chance. He would pay for what he had done to young Yavanna…

After a couple of hours, they had managed to reach the walls of Moria. It was quite a painful sight for Saeril to look upon; it became quite evident when she had turned her head away from the kingdom's walls. "The walls of Moria", Gimli breathed in astonishment.
