He specializes in flame based magic, i.e fire balls, walls of fire, flame currents, flame cloaking, and so forth.
Although he has basic understandings of other elements.
You could label him as "adept" in fire based magic and a "novice" in the other elements, with the most basic uses of them trained to himself.

Is that fair?
