Flawed Deities: The Odyssey isn't how we remember it.

I have a neat idea, what if I hosted a RP inspired by the Greek Classic, the Odyssey, but I would use themes and plot devices from my Flawed Deities lore in it to mix up the narrative of the story? Like, maybe events happened differently and I use characters inspired by my other creations and the story isn't set in stone as it is in real life? I think it would be fun to take this Ancient Greek tale and put a different spin on it. I have some ideas already, like perhaps changing some of the gods and for one putting in my cyclops maiden, Polyphema into the story for a twist. What do you guys think?

It's hard to say what anybody would think of this idea when there's nothing to go on. You say Flawed Deities is your own lore, but don't provide any information on it. There's no way to determine how well it would work or how interesting classical Greek myths would be with these twists since there's no indication as to what those twists and differences are.

I was going to create the RP when I had the time. I was more of asking if people wanted to try something Odyssey/Greek related. I don't expect anyone to know what my universe is until I made the RP because it has a lot of stuff going on, so I was going to wait until I made the roleplay first. Some variations include different versions of the Classical Greek gods, (or basically OC's I've made.) A female cyclops, perhaps magic will be more apparent in the story, and the overall chain of events would be different than from the classic's narrative.
