Important Comment

I want you to write at least two paragraphs from the your character's point of view (you can choose if you write in first or third person, but third person is preferred) in the past tense in which you write about the moment your character changed (or started to change). Issie Anduril

Name: Issie Anduril

Age: 21, August 21 2046.

Personality: He is very chill and relax by nature, but is a ball of pure energy when worked up and can become near bull headed when he is excited. He can be seen as a slight idiot as he is can goofball and will say things that sometimes sound dumb to get a laugh out of people, but is actually quite intelligent even though he does sometimes forget to think. But if upset or angered he can still be very respectful, but will seem slightly colder.

Family:
Mother- Andrea Anduril, 45 years old, a stay at home wife who showered her family in affection and was in distraught when her son left. (Hates the drug as it took away her only son)

Father- Fredrick Anduril, 46 years old, an average business man who loves his family. Yet when his son did something so dangerous, he couldn't keep his son there and risk the lives of his family. (Slightly drunk on
Slirl all the time as it dulls the pain of his life)

Mother and father

Sister- Shelly Anduril, 18 years old, an average school girl, who had decent grades and was going on to study forensics, she was confused then sad that Issie left. (Likes the drug as it makes he feel good)

Shelly

Sister- Serena Anduril, 25 years old, a strange chemist who has an unnatural hunger for knowledge, and is now diving into different work to solve this strange mutation to maybe figure out a way to save her brother and bring him back to her. (Itrigued by the drug and its effects)

Serena

Power: Issie gained a strange control over wind and air. He can do very delicate things such as flip a single page or rustle an object, up to changing the direction of the wind or even create a wind blast that can throw a man up to ten feet away and splinter anything within a foot of him. As Issie uses his powers his chest starts to hurt, and if used too much can knock him out. He has became more capable with his abilities as he uses them as he begins to gain a tolerance to the pain, and his body becomes used to it.

Thoughts on the drug: Issie was introduced to the drug by his father when he turned 18. He despises the drug as it was the thing that destroyed his life and sent him to this mansion.

Thoughts on changes: He finds the power helpful and fun as it helps him dust quickly, clean in a faster method, and allows him to get to strange spots for his reading and exploration.

Time at the Mansion: He has been there since the beginning.

Likes: Reading, messing with mechanical objects/tinkering, exploring/adventuring, music (mostly sythwave), chess (He's ok at chess), and boxing (He loves the sport as he believes it can create a strong spirit and a healthy body).

Dislikes: Being locked up (the mansion is slightly bearable), fighting (verbal or physical and specifically if it is with bad intensions), silence, pop/rap music, being disrespected, being told how he should act.

Awakening of power

When I took a sip of that stuff, I felt good for a moment but then I started feeling a tension in my chest. It began becoming hard to breath as it felt like tension was building in my muscles as my lungs began to burn. It felt as if I was being suffocated and it began to feel as it my heart was even being squeezed until I felt it all just burst and I could breath again. But I felt all the tension leave my body and into the room around me. When I looked back up I found the room destroyed as my father was send into the wall, the chair I was on was all but splinters, and the windows in the room were blasted out.

When my father left to see if everyone was alright I found myself in shock as I couldn't even comprehend what was happening. I just laid back as I was too tired to move. After around an hour my father came in to check on me and started to try and comfort me as he knew this was gonna be tough. He told me that there will be some men who will come and take me some place safe. I knew what that meant and almost on cue he left as that tension started to build again as I took my phone as fast as I could and started to record myself I found that the air rippled around me and even slowly entered me. As almost in fear I launched a blast of air straight into my phone destroying it.

I finally start to realize that I can now am the one who destroyed everything. I froze up as I start to think what that means, as I stand up and start panicking I find 2 men walking in and talking to me. I comply with their wishes to take me to a mansion for people like me, as I know if I don't it will be more trouble for myself and my family. I leave with a few items and not much else

Name: Saffron Manchester

Age: 18, August 16th, 2050

Personality: He would like to say he is relaxed, but he is just the person who does a lot of stuff in quiet. He sets very strict routines for himself and his response is “my schedule is my schedule, and I don’t change my schedule.” Other then that he loves helping people, it’s why he thought the military was a good suit for him. He becomes clueless in what to do in complicated situations that involve him and usually just tries to ignore it and hope it works out

Family:

Father: Samuel Manchester Age 52. A well known and respected Doctor. He holds the stance that Slirl could prove to be dangerous and lead to an opium like epidemic that happened in the early 21st century. He held a strong stance on it to this day. Saffron doesn’t partially get along with his father

Mother: Maria Manchester Age 49. She was my father’s first love and is still to this day. She works at the clinic with my father as a RN. She holds a lot of the same political stances as my father. Unlike my father, she believes that childhood should be filled with freedom and support rather than rigid schedules and strict obedience.

Power: His power consists of major boost to his endurance and durability. Not only that he seemed to get stronger when he was being pushed. The longer he was pushed the stronger he became.This came with the benefit that he felt closer to the earth than before. His hair changed to this unnatural yellow. He also knows that the longer he is pushed the more he feels the want to keep going like he is on some kind of drug. It would also make his eyes increasingly more yellow to the point of neon if he let himself get too pushed. Because of this he tries to remain at a normal pace.

Thoughts on drug: At first Saffron was fine with the drug, He didn’t interact with it at all until he was 17. And even after the change he didn’t blame the drug for what happened. His father told him that he didn’t trust it, but saffron ignored his fathers warnings and took the drug either way. He blames himself for what has happened to him not the drug

Thoughts on the change: He was freaked out about the changes. If his recruiter or father found out it would ruin his life so he has to hide it. He did find the extra endurance to be quite useful in basic training for the more physically demanding parts. Though he had to take care in the more high stress ones to avoid being shown

Time at the Mansion: He got there about 2 weeks before the Starting date. I was discovered when I got involved in a fight that got out of hand so quick and was shot at. I lived and with no injury. At this point some people already knew what a misfit was so. I was taken to the Mansion

Likes: Sports, Martial Arts, Cars, Guns, History Buff, Reading (Almost only fiction though), Volunteering (He picked that up from a good friend named James)

Dislikes: Flaky Personalities, Country Music (Specifically because of his dad), Anime (Usually keeps that to himself though), Disrespect to anyone.

Awakening of Power

I was out celebrating with my Friends. I was finally going to join the military after months of convincing mom and dad to let me join. Then James pulled out Some Slirl, I wasn’t going to be able to drink this stuff in the military so lets get some now.

I drink so much Slirl, too much Slirl. I felt great, more alive than I’ve ever been. So I went for a little drive in my Jeep, I was speeding on the back-roads in the middle of the night. Bump up and down with the road. I have never been this exhilarated In my life. Then I saw the deer. I swerved as quickly as I could to avoid the deer but I guess I forgot what to do after because I drove straight into a tree and was launched out the windshield, guess I wasn’t wearing my seat belt. At that moment I just laid there waiting for the pain to kick in that way I could access how dead I was. But the pain never came, I stood up and the only thing damaged on me was my clothes and my phone. But I was fine. I started to freak out and started to just run. Next thing I was at home, in my bed, with a seriously pissed off father.

He asked if I was okay, I told him I was. He sighed in relief. And then he asked about the car. I squirmed and then admitted to him that it was totaled somewhere in the forest. He sighed again. After that he revoked is signature to let me join the military early.
