Arthur smiles. "I like you already. Careful being that charming around Jonathan, he might want you for himself." He laughs.

He smiles. "I'm straight. Not into guys. I'll be fine." He cracks his back with a horrid crunch. "I just jinxed myself, didn't I?"

Arthur laughs again and drapes an arm around his shoulders. "Probably. Welcome to the family, Darkheart. Don't tell her I said that, not yet," he winks. "Speaking of the devil," he mutters as Cesidia comes into view from the distance and he stands to the side like he wasn't friendly to Dharichar.

Cesidia returns in a dark blue floor-length dress with a white corset and trimmings, Jonathan behind her.

"Now that's a dress fit for a lady," Arthur grins.

"Speaking of the devil, or to the devil?" He looks back at her, and casually takes a step back, disguising it as simply stretching his wings.

Arthur grins faintly when he sees Dharichar take a step back.

"Dharichar, you better be feeding her! I had to cinch her waist in six inches!" Jonathan says darkly, and Cesidia blushes.

"I'd appreciate it if you kept my measurements between us, Jon," Cesidia sighs. The fabric hugs her body, accentuating every curve and corner. She smiles at Dhar. "He didn't give you troubles did he?" She gives Arthur a stink eye.

Arthur shrugs. "He wasn't too bad."

Cesidia huffs. "I was talking to Dhar."

Arthur smirks. "I know."

He laughs. "Depends on what you mean as troubles. If you mean veiled threats and concern for your well being, yes. If you mean physical danger, not in anyway." He chuckles. "I'll make sure she doesn't starve, Jon."

Cesidia looks down at herself. "Do I look alright?"

Arthur golf-claps. "Jonathan, you've outdone yourself."

"I know I'm fabulous," Jonathan sighs and bows.

He nods to Jon. "Mmmm. You may be a artist. But she's the masterpiece."

Arthur and Jonathan exchange a look and they discreetly high five.

Cesidia blushes faintly and smiles, and she flips her hair. "I know I look amazing. Let's go meet my parents."

Arthur salutes him. "Good luck. You'll know you've done fantastic if you come out unscathed."

Jonathan shoots Arthur a look. "If we send him in with at least some optimism he might have a little bit more of a chance." He nods solemnly. "But he's right."

Cesidia rolls her eyes.

"Is there something wrong with your eyes?" Arthur grins.

"I hate you," Cesidia sighs.

"Love you too, sis," Arthur chuckles.

He laughs. "Oh, I doubt anyone here could hurt me. Physically anyway." He gently takes her arm.

Cesidia links her arm with his and waves bye to her brothers. "I'm ready," she smiles at him.

He chuckles. "Now to meet the parents who likely hate me."

Cesidia chuckles and pecks his lips. "I'm sure that's not true. If Jonathan couldn't stop talking about you, then you'll nail it with my parents. Just follow my lead."

He nods. "I'm sure this'll go just fine. 'Hey mom, dad, this is the demon who owns my soul now!'."

Cesidia smiles and shakes her head. "You own so much more than my soul. You own every part of me, or you will." She blushes faintly. "Let's get this started and over with so we don't overthink it."

He takes her hand and smiles. "Ok." He opens the door.

Cesidia intertwines their fingers with a smile and walks through the door, looking around.
