He smiles, his wings folded behind him. "Can you not be happy for your friend, purely out of hatred for the one she chooses to love?"

"I felt like I could not trust anyone anymore. After all, I married a prince I did not love purely out of, not just needing to protect my people, but because I could not trust anyone in this kingdom."

Phillip frowned sadly. He looked like his heart was breaking.

The male repeated himself. He gasped when he was pinned to the wall like that. He turned red when he heard what he was asked and quickly shifted into a mouse, attempting to dart off.

He raises his hand, and a skeleton hand bursts out of the floor, grabbing the mouse, and lifting it, dropping him into his outstretched hand. "It's rude to leave in the middle of a conversation."

Cesidia snorts in an effort not to laugh. "Sorry. Petunia, please. I'm sorry you felt that way and I get it if you don't want me to bother you anymore. Just say so."

Phillip mouse squeaked in a panic. He quickly shifted into a small bird and attempted to fly off.
