The first mate frowns " sorry it's a secret " Tanner is surprised as his pirate clothes become nicer and woven with gold threading, he then gets a new flag one with the skull and bones but a crown behind it , he also gets a gold crown earring instead of a full on crown so he can still battle. His "special weapons" seem to refurbish themselves the blades becoming polished and the guards gold , his pistols then become gold with silver accents .

Jono huffs and crosses her arms. “Fine then, I’ll...” she frowns and looks at the flag. “Well that’s new. What are you up to Tanner?” she mutters.

Tanner walks up to his ship and sees jono " why are you here? " he asks and walks to his crew

Jono raises an eyebrow a little then sighs and spreads her hands. “I thought we could form an alliance.”

Tanner sits on a box " continue " he says one hand on a pistol

“This would be a temporary arrangement. My men and I will take care of the mission itself, but there have been... unforeseen complications. Eliminating competition is a perfect job for a band of pirates, and you and your men will be getting half of the reward as a result. Keep any spoils you get from your battles.”

Jono shrugs. “Retrieving a lost treasure, a ring that practically makes you immortal in game to be exact.”

Tanner chuckles " that is probably cursed and either a trap I doubt game developers would put that in "

Jono frowns. “Then why would they have it as an official mission? Something doesn’t... sound right. I’m not to use it, just get it in the hands of the officials.”

Tanner shrugs " how much is half of the treasure? "

Jono frowns in thought. “The reward’s ten k, so five k.”

Jono nods. “I don’t want to rush you, but I already spent more time here than I’d planned. If you could give me at least a tentative answer so I could prepare accordingly.”

Jono sighs. “I understand, but time is of the essence. More and more ships are coming for the ring as we speak.”

Tanner sighs " hmmmm sure why not " he says and walks up to the wheel of his ship

Jono smiles faintly. "Thank you. I'll be in contact when we are to make our move." She takes the rowboat back to her own ship.
