"Ok." she smiled to herself and started to reach for is hand but pulled back, and she followed closely trying not to be drowned in the crowd.

She saw him staring at her and bashfully stared at her toes. "Um....May I hold your hand I don't want to get lost?" She asked embarrassed and expected a no.

"Never mind I'm sorry." she said and fell silent momentarily. " I'll leave you alone I'm sorry. " she smiled softly, usually she doesn't give up but she hates to be a burden. Violet silently slipped through the crowd.

Violet smiled softly and ran towards him and hugs him and then she blushes as she takes his hands on her own. "I'm sorry I just didn't want to be a burden to you."

She looked away into the crowd and looked intently at the lights and the gowns that colored the room.

Violet smiled softly and holds his hands and waltz across the dance floor and presses softly against Edward's chest. When the dance finished she pointed to a white haired male. "There?" she asked.

Edward managed to get through the waltz. He looked where she pointed and nodded.
"Excuse me."

He pulled away and went to talk with him. Alexander was already dancing with another. Alexander shook his head at some point. Alexander rejected his advances. He sensed Edward only wanted to marry him because he was told to win him over and such. Edward was not the first noble male to fake having feelings For Alexander, love at first sight if you will.

Edward sighed, rejected, and wondered back in Violets' direction. @Alisdragon911
