She takes her hand out of his and closes her eyes, focusing on her surroundings. She makes her way past him.

A few minutes later, a dagger nails a tree right behind them where the boy’s head would’ve been. The girl straightens and offers him a hand to help him up. “Your welcome.”

The girl reaches out her arms and pats the boy a little before climbing on and leaning forward.

The girl buries her face in the boy’s furry neck.

He runs and jumps over a branch snarling when he smells a dragon and a not right human
