Hey! I'm up for some fights! All I ask is that you post a character sheet with the same info fields as mine, and please wait your turn! I like doing one on one fights! Also, with power scaling, just try not to be ridiculous with powers that are way too out there. That said, I'll post my character here. The Arena will always be the same. Fight on, challengers!

Name: Agatha "Aggie" Simmons

Age: 25

Gender: Female

Appearance: While looking in the mirror, Aggie saw large emerald eyes staring back at her, peeking out from under bangs of raven hair. Her nose was crooked, broken during a scuffle back in her high school days. She tried not to focus on that. Her lips were full, and colored light pink, though she tended to cover it with any other color. Usually, blue or black. Today, they were natural pink. Her cheek bones were sharp, matching the rest of her sharp and pretty face. She stood back a ways from the mirror. Her shorter frame was caught in the mirror in its entirety. She only stood at five feet and two inches, so she only had to back a little ways to fill the floor mirror. She was thin, and her body was adorned with a black skirt, and a black top that connected with fishnet gauntlets that covered down to the base of her fingers. A red corset hugged her waist and was surrounded by a brown leather belt that held five colored flasks on it. Her legs were covered by red leggings, and she wore boots that went to the middle of her thighs. Taking a moment, she put her shoulder length raven hair into a high pony-tail. Today, she had some fights to win. She grabbed a book, bound in black leather, and left the room.

Powers/Weapons: Aggie is a caster. Some call her a witch, some caller her a mage, neither are exactly wrong. For as long as she could recall, she found herself drawn to the paranormal and supernatural. She often read about ghosts, hauntings, and other strange things. When she was fifteen, her father gave her a black leather journal for her birthday. Ever since that day she would go to libraries, go onto websites, and any other source of information she could find, and filled it with spells, incantations, potions, charms, anything magical. She had realized only a short time before this that she actually had a talent for spell casting. She had seen a simple spell in a spell book that instructed in the way to make wind blow. Expecting nothing, she called out "Eurus! Notus! Zephyrus! Boreas!" She was surprised when a gust of wind blew fiercely from her hand. From that point on she dabbled in any kind of magic she could find. She first mastered one spell from each core element, believing that having them would help her remain balanced. Below, are her mastered spells.

Wind Spell: A gust of wind flies forcibly from Aggie's hand, enough to knock about 200 lbs of non-rooted weight backwards. She incants "Eurus! Notus! Zephyrus! Boreas!".

Fire Spell: A flame appears in her hand, and when she points the flame, it sends more in that direction. Some may say it looks like a flamethrower. She incants: "Flame, sear that which opposes me!"

Earth Spell: A rock or dirt is called to move by Aggie. She uses it for blocking. She takes a handful of earth and calls "Unmoving Earth, heed my call!"

Water Spell: An orb of water appears before her, forming from the air. She pushes her hand against it and it speeds like a bullet wherever she aimed it. She incants: "Aqua Surgo Rebus!"

Air Walking: Aggie pulls a leaf from her pouch, crushes it in her hand and incants: "Air, take me as your leaf, allow me to prance upon you!" She is then able to walk in the air as if it is ground, but to gain height she must jump forward. If she loses her footing, she could fall.

Tendrils: Aggie can call upon darkness to appear as long sharp prehensile tentacles. She is limited to one arm, and the tendril can only split into three. To create this spell, she draws blood from her palm and incants: "Dark bind, pierce, obey!"

Light: Aggie can create an orb of light to help her see, and if put into someone's eyes, could momentarily blind them. She puts her hands together and incants: "Celeste Surgo Luminesce!"

Weapons and tools:
She has a pouch that contains several dried leaves.

She has five flasks connected to her belt.

Flask one is red and contains a potion of healing. It contains about 3 drinks.

Flask two is blue and contains a potion of transformation. The potion was brewed to change her into a bat-like humanoid creature. It contains one drink.

Flask three is green and contains a potion of strength. Drinking it enhances her speed and power for 1 minute. It has 3 drinks.

Flask four is black. It contains a poison that can paralyze. It has one use.

Flask five is orange. It is a potion that allows her to phase through matter. It has one drink.

She has a dagger, sharp and about 6 inches long at the blade. She can fight with it, but prefers to keep her distance.

ARENA: The arena is a large field in the middle of the day. It has trees speckled throughout, hills and streams weave their way across the scenery. Here, Aggie was called to do battle with other warriors at the behest of some outside force that she could not understand. All she and the other warriors could do, was obey.

Ok, so I went a bit longer there than I expected. You by no means have to write your character as detailed as I did, however if you do, brownie points for you!

Slides in from the ether

Well, this looks interesting. I've got a street level character here that could work and, for sake of not having an endless amount of ammo, he has two backup mags for his gun. He also carries a burner phone and a knife on his person as well. Nothing other than that save for the ring of his organization.

Aggie stepped out of her car at the edge of the road. Before her stood a vast green field, riddled with trees, hills, and streams. This is where she was told to go, she was sure of it. She walked into the field, and before long, the road was no longer visible. She found a spot that she liked next to a large pine tree. It was warm in the sun, so she sat in the shadow of the tree and began to read her journal. She knew she'd be expecting fighters, so she kept a wary eye and ear out for any surprise attacks.

Rodney looked up from the note he was carrying. Before him was a vast field with rolling hills and crystal clear streams. Streams he knew would not stay clear for very long.

Then again, in his line of work, nothing ever did.

Giving the letter a brief glance, he read through it once more to confirm that this was the place his mysterious contractor had said his target would be and, judging from the description, it seemed to be. Crumpling up the small parchment, he cast it to the side and pulled out his pistol, his finger close to-but not on-the trigger. Striding forwards he made his way deeper into the field, passing row upon row of trees, before finally arriving at the one he was looking for. It was a tall thing, with just enough shade to make it worth sitting under, but not nearly trunk to make it worth falling asleep beside.

Not that it mattered of course.

It wasn't the foliage he was here for, but the girl.

Pulling out his pistol and drawing back the slide, he let it slam forward as he took aim at the side of her skull, using the tree he had propped himself up against as a brace.

Aggie had heard rustling. It was faint, but in the still peace of the field it was hard not to notice. She quickly stood up and lunged forward. The bullet grazed. It was a miracle she dodged, but she was used to those happening from time to time. She looked in the direction of the sound to see a man. He looked average, but he just shot a gun at her. Holding back was not an option. As she had leapt forth, she grabbed a handful of dirt. She held in her hand and muttered, "Unmoving earth, heed my call!" A spire of hardened dirt erupted in front of her, creating a wall about 5 feet tall. She crouched behind it, and began to ready her next spell.

Rodney took this moment to dash behind another tree, one that was approximately sixty degrees to the right of Aggie's newly erected dirt wall. Popping out from the left side of the tree this time, as that was the side that allowed him to see the tiniest sliver of ground on the other side of her barricade, he took aim and fired again. Not a lethal shot by any means, but a practical one nonetheless. If he was playing his cards right, she'd be startled, maybe even surprised at how fast he'd managed to flank her position, and thus fall into a panic. Or at least slip up long enough for him to put her spellcasting out of commission with a well placed shot to the throat or something similar.

Aggie was surprised by the sudden change of her opponent's change in position. She tried to react, but all she could manage was a small movement back. The bullet buried itself in her shoulder. She winced, the fiery pain in her shoulder was definitely a new level of pain for her. Luckily she could tell the bullet hit bone. It hurt like hell, but it wasn't getting deeper. She turned to where the shot came from, she was ready to see her opponent. She jumped from behind her barricade. She rolled with the momentum, her shoulder searing with pain. With her right hand, she casted her water spell, seeing as her left arm was harder to move now. "Aqua Surgo Rebus!" An orb of water appeared in front of her. She thrust her hand against it, sending it like a bullet at her foe.

Rodney spun back into cover as fast as he could, but not quite fast enough to avoid being hit. The water bullet whizzed past him, slicing through the clothing and skin of his shooting arm, rendering it useless. At least as far as firing went. Gritting his teeth, he dropped his gun into his other hand-a risky move as he was far from ambidextrous-and examined the damage.

The cut was deep and raw, but thankfully stopped long before reaching bone. If it hadn't, well, then he'd have a problem. Not that the cut itself wasn't an issue already. Infection and bloodloss could kill him just as easily as the girl, after all. So, with that in mind, Rodney stuffed his gun into the band of his pants and took out his knife. Working quickly, he cut strips of cloth from his coat, and dressed the wound as best he could. It was a shitty job, and far from sterile, but it would help lessen the bleeding at least.

Returning his knife to its sheath, he pulled out his gun and bolted from cover, laying down a sort of shoddy suppressive fire with his sidearm as he rushed towards the brightly lit open field.

Aggie darted back into cover, she could feel the blood spilling down her arm. Shakily she retrieved her healing potion, flicked the top of the flask open, and took a drink. She felt the bleeding stop, and a numbing sensation rather than pain. It wasn't a perfect fix by a long shot, and her left arm was still next to useless. She took a deep breath. The dirt wall in front of her crumbled away, half from the gunfire, half from Aggie's will. She pushed her right hand forward as Rodney came into her view. "Eurus! Notus! Zephyrus! Boreas!" A blast of wind made its way to him. She never expected such blood thirsty opponents. But she definitely didn't want to die.

Rodney rolled forward on his good shoulder, moving just fast enough to avoid the strong gust of wing that tore at the back of his coat. Making it into the sunlight at last, he raised his gun and fired off another barrage at Aggie, emptying the magazine. Taking hold of his shadow, he pooled it in front of himself and raised it, forming a solid barrier of darkness between himself and his opponent. Ejecting the spent mag, he held the firearm in place between his knees as he fished out a fresh one and slid it into the handle, watching it lock into place with a slight click. Taking hold of the grip, and pushing the slide release down with his thumb, he chambered the next round and took aim once more, only this time opening a small hole in his shield through which he could fire.

Aggie was grazed by a bullet, it flew past her waist, taking with at a chunk of skin. This guy was deadly. She looked at the man and noticed a familiar sight. It looked very similar to her darkness spell. She knew she had to get close. She flicked open the green flask and took a drink. In an instant she dashed toward her opponent, strengthened by the potion. She pulled out her dagger and swung it at his side, having stepped around the shadow.

Rodney moved with the hit so that, while he was still cut, it was lighter than it would have been otherwise. Readjusting his stance as he moved back, Grimes took hold of his shadow and morphed it into a thin bladelike sliver, which he then sent flying directly at her throat.

Aggie ducked quickly, the potions effects still in full force. She stepped inward and attempted to headbutt Rodney in the chest. She hoped to finish him quickly rather than have her potion wear off.

Rodney saw her movements swift as they were and, at the risk of potentially unbalancing himself, brought his knee up in the hopes of halting her approach.

Her head connected with his knee. The force was definitely enough to knock him off balance but luckily for him, it was also enough to stun her. Hitting your head on someone's knee never feels good. She brought up her knife in a wild swing with her right arm, not being able to clearly see, but knowing she still had to fight, she definitely was the one who took the L with that strike.

Grimes was sent stumbling back, but this worked to his advantage in two ways. First, it pushed him out of the reach of Aggie's uncoordinated knife swings, and second, it stunned her. Giving him more than enough time to line up and take a shot at her right kneecap as his shadow returned to its original position behind his body.

Aggie shook her head. She finally got her senses back just in time to see him lining up his shot. She jumped the side, but was a little to late. The bullet didn't hit her kneecap and instead hit her in the upper thigh. She gasped in pain, but she was in close range, wear she wanted to be. She held out her good hand and shouted, "Flame, sear that which opposes me!" A flame burst from her hand and roared toward Rodney at a close range.

Rodney didn't have time to do anything else but call upon his shadow, hoping the wall of darkness would be able to deflect the brunt of the blast. Which it did, but not long enough to leave him completely unscathed. Dropping midway through, he found a great deal of his clothing burnt off and his skin charred.

But hey, at least he was still alive, painful as it was. Dropping his gun with his newly burnt arm, Rodney let the appendage fall, but did so in a way that put his hand near his knife. Slowly wrapping his fingers around the handle, he glared up at Aggie, and waited for her next move.

Aggie, having dropped her knife to cast her spell wasted no time, it was time to push back. "Celeste Surgo Luminesce!" She thrust her hand forward toward Rodney's face, as a bright orb of light formed. The orb of light floated in front of his eyes, acting as a blinder, and her hand also went through the orb, a palm strike aiming for the face.

Rodney tried to move his head, to no avail. He found himself being struck squarely in the face with more force than he had originally anticipated, one that managed to break his nose it seemed like. Letting out a grunt as his head snapped back, he pulled out his knife and swung wildly at the area in front of him, hoping to hit something vital in the process.

He needed to end this fight already. Not only was it incredibly sloppy work, but he was on his last leg as well. Battered, bruised, and exhausted, he was quickly reaching his limit. And that was dangerous.

Very dangerous.
