"Nor me," Shiranui added, "You probably have a playful Ghost-type Pokémon nearby."

A Haunter appear and kissed Jen on the lips then laugh about it.

"Why am I not surprised that it's a Haunter that was trying to mess with Jen?" Liam thought aloud.

"I hope it didn't paralyse you," Shiranui said, concerned for Jen's wellbeing.

Aura pick Jen up and looks at Shiranui sadly. She is mad at herself that Jen got hurt. She notices a stump of a tree moving closer to the group.

"It's okay, Aura," Shiranui consoled, "Haunter like to play tricks." He also noticed the tree stump moving closer. "We have a Phantump here," he stated, "Rotom, analysis."
"Phantump, the Stump Pokémon. A Ghost and Grass type. After a lost child perished in the forest, their spirit possessed a tree stump, causing the spirit's rebirth as this Pokémon. With a voice like a human child's, it cries out to lure adults deep into the forest, getting them lost among the trees," Shiranui's Rotom Phone stated.

"I wonder what that Phantump wants," Liam thought aloud.

Aura told Liam, after Jen’s soul or mess with us. Aura knows they were not lost, “would anyone like to battle this Phantump?” Aura ask as she can battle while holding Jen.

Beckham popped out of his Ball and bounced in place shadowboxing while facing the Phantump. It was now that Liam was glad he had the foresight to in downtime practice Z move poses with some of his newer Pokemon. He swapped the Dragnium Z with Firium Z.

"Let's see how you do with this in your new form, Beckham." Liam said as he activated the Z Power Ring, "Take this, Phantump! The Zennith of bond between us! With the power of Mt. Lakana! Inferno Overdrive!" Beckham channeled the recently learned, Pyro Ball into the attack and one shot the Phantump. Liam then gave the Phantump a Rawst Berry and an Orren Berry, telling it to be careful about provoking others. Liam praised Beckham on the good job. Corvisquire was perched in a nearby tree while the heroes dealt with the Phantump, but it was eager to get to the next town and squawked to get the heroes' attention, before jerking its head toward the next town.

"Isn't that a little bit of overkill?" Shiranui commented, remembering that Phantump was a human child in a previous life. He tapped a Dusk Ball on it and the ball quickly snapped shut.

"It isn't wrong to use a Z-Move, but remember that Pokémon can only take so much damage past the point of fainting," Shiranui reminded. He intended to have the Phantump he caught checked out at the Ballonlea Pokémon Centre.

The group at last made it into the next town. Liam praised the Corvisquire for helping and recalled it to its ball. "I'd say lets head to the Pokemon Center to rest up. It is starting to get late after all,"
