Just kinda donned on me that we haven't really kept the Time/tech of Mystery Men, seeing as they didn't have cell phones in it. Hoping that wasn't a huge wrench in the cannon....

I mean Hero City is the city of tomorrow. So, I don't think it's too far fetched to have this kind of tech when things like the psychofrakulator, enhancement suits, and all the stuff Dr. A. Heller made exist in the world.

Also, don't worry about it throwing a wrench in the canon of Mystery Men. This RP is inspired and set in the same world as Mystery Men but we don't really have to religiously adhere to it 100% of the time.

Yes, though capable of transmitting to 1 to 1, the default setting is to broadcast to all earpieces.

Hey Leophael, I did not want to assume that I know what you're going to do as The Finger... Is your character and Talia just going into the nightclub arm-in-arm posing as coming together? Her as your lady of the evening? Do we plan to go off on our own once through the door? I'm new at writing roleplay with other people involved and leery (and nervous) assuming, in my post, the actions that you'll do. Thought maybe if there were some specifics to discuss, we could do it here?
And also, obviously if Manny has any tips ic or Searat ooc, that is perfectly fine.

@ShadowsofNightAgain, sorry for delay. It will unfortunately be a recurring element this week as work is bleeding into my weekend and will continue to dominate the majority my weekdays. I'll try to get a post in tomorrow evening.

In terms of plans, Yes, a straight forward entrance would suffice. My short term goal is for the duo to approach the club, skip the line, and toss out the password for instance access. The password is also good for drinks and amenities, should either character want some. Once inside, I would assume we'd be playing it by ear, scouting the inhabitants and building layout while keeping an eye out for the Big Bad.

In terms of specifics and details that need to be included to go from point A to point Z, I'm super flexible. Even if you wanted to enter together and then split off to cover more ground and try to spot the owner while keeping in contact over the earpieces, I'm fine with that, too. If you'd prefer to stick closer as a duo and co-op some scenes, there are several methods that would enable us to do that as well.

Family stuff happened and things got busy for a time and I lost the ability to come on yesterday as hoped. @Searat I was looking for ic tips of just something maybe Manny had thought they'd be doing. But mainly was just making sure I didn't take too much liberty in regard to how you had planned the story to go haha I guess I mostly needed Leophael to respond so all good!

@Leophael thank you! Talia would also do either (stick as a duo or break off to gain more info separately, she does not drink alcohol so would not be interested in the bar for that and I'm guessing The Finger would ;) haha) So yeah, we will enter together and then break off separately to do our own scouting. I will write my post now that I have a moment and we'll go from there. Thanks again! And I understand the work bleeding into life stuff, sorry to hear.

@Searat Regarding combat with NPCs - Do you want us to present an action and then wait for you to determine a result or, when it comes to nameless "henchmen" types, are we permitted to write action and result ourselves?

For instance, if I wanted to punch one of these guys, do I need to end it with "And then Link threw a punch" and wait for your next post or can I write "And then link threw a punch and broke the guy's nose"?

I assume with named bad guys (like Bucur and Facade) you would surely want result control, but wasn't sure if that was the case for cannon fodder.

For the most part, I would prefer the post action and I post a reaction. [Especially with Named foes]
But I can work with you posting the action and reaction.
Whatever you feel the most comfortable to be honest.

Also I agree with Shadows, you're style is pretty dang entertaining to read.
