I know there are SEVERAL people on this guild that play this game and hot damn if I'm not going to try and force some discussion around it. Figure you don't need too many ground rules for a thread like this- just tag spoilers for any spoilerific story related content and you'd be golden, I'd say.

Not that I'm here to talk spoilers, really this idea was just spurred on because of this cursed image being shared with me. I curse you all with having to witness it too.

Also has anyone else just been living on island sanctuary ever since it came out? I might have a problem. I'm making mad stonks, though. As barren and slightly-poorly-designed as the content is, I'm still having mad fun with it. You're not stopping me from getting that 30k gathers achievement.

I actually only recently made a catgirl that I liked the look of after many, many attempts that never stuck. Her name is Seru. She's pretty cool.

I just have a tendency to make characters/alts that I know I'll never play though I do have one 'main' character on all three NA Data Centers (though my Faerie character is the one I focus on). But my obsession with making characters is why my character appearance slots are all filled now. I just...I like making characters.

In other news, I messed up my rolls in Abyssos so instead of going for Shoes and Gloves/Helm I wound up getting pants in Eighth Circle (I already have the pants) because I hit Greed instead of Pass. But it wasn't a total loss. I decided to just go fuck it and get three accessories instead. It worked out even if now I'll have to do an extra run down the line.

Good thing I'm a tank so I'll be able to queue instantly.

This confirms Fabricant is one of the few people in XIV that has actual, good taste. I salute you.

Tank privilege be like that. I was a DRK main in ShB, played summoner for a bit as my main job in endwalker but I ended up gravitating back to tank (though on paladin and warrior now). Something about the tank jobs just appeals to me from a gameplay standpoint.

's for the raid gear, I have no real strong need for it myself. Benefits of knowing a crafter buddy; as long as I supply the requisite materials, they gimme my gear sets.

That, and the raid gear is bad, fight me.

Oh my god I am finally done with Bozja this took so long.

Every relic, every achievement. This means 10 runs of Delubrum Savage, 50 runs of CLL, DRN and Zadnor, 10/10/10 honors, all duels cleared and 500 Critical Engagements.

Verdict: this is so not worth it, don't do what I did.

Since it's going to be part of the relic grind now I'm gonna take the opportunity to say it once and for all: I never liked Hildibrand. I think those quests are like bad filler episodes in anime complete with humor that tries to be slapstick but borders on the absurdist which makes them annoying at the absolute best.

But at least it has nice references to other Finals Fantasy

It's unfortunate you don't liky Hildy, but I do like the first relic quest. Gerolt being the straight man for a change sure is something, and I'm here for it.

In other news: Variant dungeon sucks ass, I hate it. I get to swap out one mechanic on my boss of choice and on two of them it gets used only once, radical. Haven't had the chance to try out criterion yet but I hear good things, so at least I've got something to look forward to, but man do I really hate variant in its current state.

But hey I got the snazzy skink out of the deal, at least!
