Armor immune to most energy weapons and projectile weapons is a nice concept. Though if we were to design it with tech similar to kull armor, we'd go more for function than inspiring fear.

Again, remember Jaffa staffs vs P90's

The Staff weapon was a fear monger weapon. The Kull warrior was designed with a weapon to kill not cause panic so we know they would be dangerous. Ont he same argument plasma cuts through metal. Bullets have less efficiency on that part.

No no, we cut up the Jaffa staffs, and put them together in a Gatling gun fashion

the Staff weapon technology is inefficient. It lacks proper focus or targeting. If you want to make a "gatling staff weapon", base it on the weapons utilized by the Children of the Ori.

I never liked the Ori...

I can't think of many energy based weapons in Stargate that didn't suffer targeting problems when it came to how accurate the shot was. Staff Weapons were always off but I don't remember too many rifles to counter-act with.

the ori may have been a bit annoying, but their minions' gear did have style.

Oh yea the grunts looked cool but the Ori as a whole just bored me quite a bit. The only good thing I saw was the beam tech and Vala on the team (though I was thrown into thinking of Farscape due to it). Personal preferences and all that I suppose.

There was a rather amusing parady of Farscape in of the later episodes.

Oh yea I remember that. Dam I loved that show too. Peace Keeper Command Carriers looked amazing. Then again Talon was an amazing Leviathan too with that cannon. And Scorpius was an amazing bad guy...

I shall indulge your curiosity with a video showing you how Scorpius is. Probably one of my favorite mad scientists/Commanders.

That is enlightening as to appearance, but it naturally cannot portray the whole of the character.

Very true. Still, Scorpius was definitely my favorite bad guy in that series.

Oh very true. The Skaron were amazing bad guys but those two just had the cool "im an evil boss" feel to them.

It would've been interesting to see whether the Tau'ri would ever trust to using asuran nanites to build stuff. We still think using a nanite-based construction for say, starships, would be idea.
