[OOC] The Dark Carnival

THIS IS THE REMAKE OF THE ORIGINAL RP! EVERYONE IS ACCEPTED

Well, the main idea of this is to have a huge carnival that goes from town to town with its wicked circus members who needs fear and souls to feed upon to continue their show. Thing is...outside people don't know it, and it's too late to tell anyone when they have their souls and happiness sucked. They don't have to be evil, but they all feast upon souls. This would be based upon modern days, like...nowadays. Also, one final thing to add..they had something in their lives that they wanted. Wether it be the return of a dead member, to fix something with themselves or a simple selfish wish...They had come to Hag for him to accomplish it. But it was rarely accomplished in a good way. However, with their wish done, they had to serve Hag's Carnival as bond between the wish and them. Like a contract. Their lives are bound to the carnival, and they can't escape it, or else they'll die.

Rules:
-No Godmodding.
-Some 18+ content (like gore and romance) is allowed, but take the other scenes to PMs please.
-Keep discussions between users at its lowest point. I don't want those silly games here.
-If a fight engages between two characters, you solve it. If you fight over who wins, I'll solve it.
-If I kill a character for whatever reason (like annoying me) then you are killed for good.
-Bonds with each character/s have to be asked first in order to fully settle them. You can't be the forced sister of someone.

Name: Hagger "Hag" Spetz
Age: 31

(Yes, I know it's Shaco!)
Position: Ringmaster.
Powers: Temporal Invisibility, can produce intense fear to an enemy to the point of rendering him useless, enhanced agility and can multiplicate himself.
Personality: He's a quite calm man who is always wearing a mask, so no ones knows how he looks underneath it. Also, he's quite of a psycho who loves to see blood getting spilled. He can also get quite hype with people.
Background: Hag's backgrounds are mostly unknown, but it is known he was born in a family full of magic, and some of those elements were transfered to him. Once he realized he could grant wishes, he got the best idea: to create his own Carnival. That's when he left behind his family in Sweden and travelled to Germany to set up his Carnival there. From that point on, he has travelled through the whole world with his carnival, harvesting thousands of souls with his employees.
Wish: None, since he is the creator.

Name: Mortimer Scharff
Age: Long Dead.

Position: Watchman.
Powers: Has the power of darkness and shadows, and he masterfully controls them. Plus, he has necromancer-like powers. His crow, Shadow, also possesses the same powers and it is his weak-spot.
Personality: Mortimer is an extremely shy person who always stutters when he speaks. He is really strict and a person to fear since his shadows produce the most nightmarish elements to ever dream of.
Background: Mortimer was a happy family who lived in the United Kingdom, London. One day, a pair of gang members came to his house and killed his wife and his children, turning his life into an eternal nightmare. He couldn't sleep, he couldn't eat...he couldn't do anything. To spend time with his dead family, he accepted a job ina cemetery, but he didn't want to die because he knew the faces of his dead family would show him how much of a bad parent he was to let them die. When Hag came across, he hopped aboard the circus asking the wish to never die, to be inmortal.
Wish: To be inmortal.
Bonds to other characters: He is very good friends with Hag, mostly because he sees a beacon of hope in Hag, as he punishes bad people, and so does Mortimer.
Weapons: His strange, dark and disturbing magic.

Name: Minata "Mina" Scrios
Age: 21
Gender: Female
Appearance:
Mina has a pale skin, white hair and red eyes. She is often seen as an albino, but she isn't an albino at all. She has a slender body and is limber and flexible, but she doesn't lack in strength.

Another picture, her skin is a bit more pale though

Position: Knife thrower
Powers: Bone manipulation. She can manipulate the bones in her body and regenerate them very fast. She has a tail, made of bones, but hides it under her clothes.
Personality: Mina was a very outgoing child when she was growing up, but grew silent, harsh and a bit disturbing during her time growing up. She is a bit cold and spends most of her time with the animals. If she isn't with the animals she is in her room, drawing or training. She doesn't trust people easily, but once she does she can warm up to them and open up a whole lot. She never uses the word "hate" anymore and if she hears somebody that does she will lash out at them.

She (tries) only to feed on hateful souls, but can't always control herself when a delicious soul passes by.

Background info:

Mina grew up in a loving family and had a good childhood. She had good friends, got good grades in school and led a happy life. She had nothing to complain about, basically.
Once she entered the last grade in elementary school she started to get bullied a bit, because of her tendency of getting good grades. She had nothing to be bullied about, but children were very cruel to her because she read a lot of books and got good grades. Mina was glad when she left school, only to find children in high-school were even more cruel than the ones on elementary school. She grew secluded and silent, she didn't go outside much anymore and spend most of her time drawing dark, disturbing pictures or gaming. Once she reached the age of 18 she had enough of it and once she encountered the carnival she gladly took the opportunity to get rid of every hateful person in her life.
Once she lost everything though, she felt like she had little left to live for. She abandoned her life to join the carnival as an animal tamer and has been there ever since.

Wish: Her wish was that everybody she hated, truly hated, disappeared from her life. She didn't want to see them anymore, nor speak to them anymore. Her wish was successful, but worked a bit too well. Everybody that had remotely annoyed her, friends she had joked around with by saying "OMG I hate you", they all vanished from her life in one way or another. Some died, some suddenly stated they hated her and never spoke to her again, some simply vanished or moved away. Eventually she was left alone and had no reason to stick around, joining the carnival.

Weapons: She uses her bones as weapons most of the time, but also carries around a few blades and a single katana.

Name: Nychta Darkesh

When her demonic side takes over

Position: Beast tamer
Powers: Blood manipulation and energy manipulation.
Personality: Nychta is very sweet, a bit ignorant even at times. She is timid and skittish, but can be very open to people when she trusts them.

Background info: Nychta grew up quite lonely. She was an only child, her father had left their family when she was only three years old and her mother worked around the clock. Her mother was a successful fashion-designer, so she was rarely home, but Nychta was never mistreated. In her lonely state she found comfort in her pets, two dogs she was given on her fifth birthday.
The creatures brought her so much comfort, she decided later on to make working with animals her job. At the age of 15 she was working at a zoo as animal care-taker and took great pride in it, despite not really needing the money. After about a year and a half she found she just didn't connect to the animals as she did with her own pets. Hearing about the man that could grant wishes, she searched for Hagger and requested to be more in tune with animals, to understand them better and work with them better. She was granted her wish, given a more animistic side and for a while all went well. One day though, her animistic side awakened more and turned up to be a demonic spirit that held many animal forms. Every animal she encountered feared her, even her beloved pets. Having lost the only thing she actually loved in her life, she felt no need to stay. She returned to Hagger in an attempt to have him take back the curse he placed upon her, but when that was said to be impossible she decided to travel with the carnival. That way she wouldn't hurt anybody accidentally.

Wish: Her wish was to be more in contact with animals, due to her job, but her wish turned into a curse.

Weapons: A katana, claws, she has a dragonic tail as well.

Name: Jeroliu Greh, people just call him Jero though
Age: 18
Gender: Male
Appearance:

Position (Of the ones listed above): Ringmasters assistant
Powers (don't godmod here, for God's sake): Teleportation, he disappears in a cloud of black smoke to reappear some where else (Jero calls it bouncing). He also has the ability to create force fields around the size of a small round shield, but he can move it so quickly it appears to be one massive shield. He also has telekinetic powers that he can only use on his certain deck of cards.
Personality: Jeroliu Greh is somewhat a psycho, he acts calm at 95% of the time but when its triggered by an overflow of fear he turns into said psycho and just gets more psycho until someone stops the fear flow either by ending the show or knocking him out cold. But most of the time he's a pretty cool headed guy who can get along with people easily.
Background info (more like a bio):
He was a typical teenager, he was doing alright at school and he lived merrily with his family. One day he and his family was found in a tight spot and they were falling behind financially, so they went to the wrong people about it and Jeroliu ended up accidently murdering his family due to the people who pretty much controlled their lives until Jeroliu killed them. He fell into a state of shock, he didn't do anything until someone entered his home and found the massacre, Jeroliu panicked and killed the the witness, with a playing card, he found himself in need of an escape and he turned to 'Hag'.
Wish:
His wish is for that no-one could ever remember him, not a single detail. Not his name, face or personality. But this also made him a complete Psycho, and when he goes psycho he can't even remember himself.

Weapons: He wields a deck of special cards that repsond to his commands, they are metal edged so they can slice through pretty much anything as long as the centres dont get damaged. He can also sacrifice any card to shoot a beam of pure darkness, so he can only shoot depending on how many cards he has.

Position: Clown
Powers: Ambrose has been given the blessing of true enlightenment, which is appearently madness. And his power is to ability to share his blessings of chaos and derangement with others. He can't drive people (permanently) as crazy as he is. But he can do things like double or triple the emotional intensity of whatever emotion someone is feeling, Inflict maddening visions, Make people keep seeing strange things out of the corner of their eye, Remove all inhibitions and social morals, Put someone's inner child in total control of their thoughts and actions for alittle while, Temporarily make someone a sociopath, or create the illusion "hobgoblins" in a person's mind. Things like that.
Personality: Ambrose is no longer who he once was. In fact, he usually isn't who he was five minutes ago. He's a chaotic sort who get's bored often and is always up for a bit of fun. He has a sharp wit and makes a fine clown. Sometimes it's utterly impossible to tell his jests from his insanity. Indeed, he's been known to get into arguments with Yorick, the Scepter, but no one else seems to hear a word that Yorick is saying. Most people tend to think it's all a part of the act, but he does it so convincingly.
Ambrose often appears to have a grim certainty about abstract things like the future, human nature, or the existence of God. But when pressed, he never seems able to find the right words to convey his meaning. In a few cases, his ramblings have been quite prophetic, but at other times they were just mad ramblings of no real value. He also seems to have a rather complex and substantially mutable method to his trademark madness. After all, as chaotic as he can be, he hasn't run naked through the center ring in the middle of someone elses performance yet.
Background info (more like a bio): Ever the inquisitive idealist as a child, Ambrose joined the military as soon as he was old enough. He wanted to travel and see the world and go to college for free. And he did. Although he also killed a lot of people in defense of his nation. But he left that life behind after there were no more battles left to fight and his country was at peace for the most part.
He became a writer and a scholar. And an alcoholic. Mostly an alcoholic really. He went further into his education and became an graduate student and eventually a proffesor of philosophy. But his mind was tortured. Even with the infinite beauty and complexity of the world, he found no peace from his constant questioning of all things. His alcoholism got worse and he found himself entangled in a series of sexual relationships with his students as well. In what he considered a politically motivated move to cast peoples eyes away from the true scumbags who worked for the college he was fired and lawsuits were brought against him by the school.
With no friends left who could get through to him and nothing much left to lose, the young proffesor wandered drunkenly into a passing carnival for reasons he himself could not be sure of. On a whim, he made a wish while he was there.
Wish: Ambrose wished for enlightenment, to understand all things in heaven and earth and where ever else may exist. The result was immediate. A sudden influx of knowledge, knowledge which the greatest of human sages aspire to attain, was suddenly revealed to him. This complete revelation of all universal truth utterly broke his mortal mind, driving him completely and irrevocably mad.
Bonds to other characters: Well, Hagger seems to understand him more than many others and being that the ringmaster isn't terrified of his madness, Ambrose tends to spend some regular time with Hagger.
He hasn't really seemed to penetrate Mortimer's shyness though. Perhaps he's much of an extrovert.
He has attempted to engage Minata and Nychta in conversation a few times. And has shown himself to be something of a flirt when not distracted by the things that other people can't see.

Yorick, The Scepter

Yorick, The Scepter is a jester's marotte which shoots tiny elemental blasts at a high velocity out of it's mouth by some application of science or magic which only Ambrose truly understands. But it's use is simple: there's a trigger hidden behing the chin which won't work unless the cap has been pushed in one of four directions. Forward for rocks, back shoots fire, left (Yorick's left) shoots air, and right (again, Yorick's right) shoots out water.

Awesome character, not sure about the power, you'll have to wait for Morty about that, but I'd say he's accepted besides that.
