Hey guys. Seeing as Gundam Build Fighters will end tonight, I will be building a roleplay on the show.

The story is set in the near future. Years after the huge "Gunpla"-plastic models based on the anime series Mobile Suit Gundam-boom of the 1980s, a second Gunpla boom is taking the world by storm, fueled by the revolutionary new ability to pilot your own Gunpla creations in "Gunpla Battles ". These incredibly-popular Battles culminate in a yearly global tournament. The Tenth Gundam Battle World Championship International Tournament is close and Gunpla-Builders around the world are gathering for the tenth time!

Now I finished explaining, let’s get this started! Gunpla Battle! READY GO!

Finally got one written up, just took longer than I thought it would. I hope this works, I tried to keep the gunpla as reasonable as possible considering how powerful it is.

Name: Hedy McVey
Age: 17
Gender: Female
Apperance: Pink red hair in a single braid, red eyes, semi-rimless under-rim glasses, red vest over a white sleeved shirt, red and black checkered skirt
Nationality: American
History: Hedy was a young five year old from California before her fascination with Gundam came about. One day when he father was finishing a Defiance marathon on the SciFi Channel (Yes it got rebranded again), Hedy got a chance to see the beginning of a new syndicated run of Gundam 00 on the Ani-Monday segment. The flashing mobile suits and destruction were something that caught her interest from the get-go, but the primary spark of her love for the franchise came from her first crush ever. Tieria Erde. After finishing her first marathon ever Hedy dedicated herself to the franchise when she searched for everything Gundam related she could get her hands on. Games, anime, doujinshi, manga, you name it she has something on Gundam along with a number of Yoshiyuki Tomino’s earlier works. She also gained deviantart fame as Trappedbunny4 for her famous art commissions.
When Hedy turned 14 she found an interest with the Gunpla community after seeing the climatic 7th tournament on tv. To prepare for this day she saved her money to build her own Gunpla army set. Her initial effort was to create a Seravee Gunpla but found much distress found managing six gn beam sabers at the same time. Going for the next best thing she has a model based on The O and feels confident about her chances to face her opponents in the upcoming tenth championship.
Other:
- She gets distracted easily.
- One of the first things she does when meeting anyone is ask for their birthdate.
- Stranger in a Strange Land is her bible.
- Having learned of his appearance in the last one, her true goal for the tournament is to find some way to win over the heart of Tiera Erde when she participates. Win or lose enticing him will be her true victory.

Apperance (Picture and descriptions both work): Kartal has long black hair with a pony tail, brown eyes and olive/light skin. He wear a grey jacket, under it a dark blue t-shirt and grey/blackish jeans.
Nationality: Turkey
History: Kartal represents Turkey in the Gundam Battle World Championship International Tournament. He began building Gunpla when his father brought back a HG Hyperion Gundam and HGUC Zeta Gundam from a business trip Japan when he was twelve. As time passed he developed his modelling skills to build custom parts for his models and dedicated to make his models represent the best of Turkey. His closest reach to the championship was when he was eliminated at 7th tournament.
Other: Known as the “Eagle of Istanbul”.

Hey Sugihito. I never watched build fighters, but I'm a huge Gundam Fan. Is there anything I need to know about the Build Fighters Universe in order to join this? If not, count me in.

Sure. You can join.

The Build Fighters universe in a nutshell is our universe a decade or two in the future. There's the discovery of the Plavsky Particles that animate plastics and as a result Gunpla battle became a popular hobby. Every year there's a world competition to determine the best fighter. The TV series had the 7th and since this is three years later this is the tenth.

Tried to give much without spoilers. A minimum of three players will do and we can add minor rivals in as well.

OK< I'll work on a CS then. Anything I should avoid as far as mobile suit (AKA do you consider funnels OP?)

Funnels, bits, flash systems etc. are fine. You'll probably have a sensible mind not to overdo a Mobile Suit. Mobile Suits from all era are welcome!

Well this is lighter and softer than an average Gundam series. I can point to a roleplay that will probably have blood and gore (or write one yourself).

I'm curious what difference the model scale makes. But since both existing characters use 1/144, I'll go with that too. Please give a me a few days for my CS.

Sure, I can wait. Most models use HG 1/144 and is the norm in Build Fighters. Models animated will be on their scale so a 1/100 model will appear as larger than a 1/144. I'm thinking of adding an NPC with 1/100 scale at some point.

History: YingJue's mother was an engineer who did work on unmanned drones, and being a single mother, would sometimes take YingJue to work. YingJue grew up around machines and robotics. Seeing this, her mother encouraged her developing engineering mind by getting her toys that would promote this, like Legos and Gunpla. It should come as no surprise that YingJue would become something of a robotics otaku, and she fell in love with the Gundam universe, especially with funnels, bits, DRAGOON's, etc, because they reminded her of her mother's work in aerial drones. YingJue focused on her studies and is now in the middle of graduate school doing research on radio frequency and communications arrays. She joined the Gunpla club on campus and has followed her team to tournaments, but thanks to her uncanny sense of spacial awareness and relentless firepower, she soon rose to the top, first in intramural competitions, then university competitions, then in nationwide competitions. She is now set to represent China at the Tenth Gundam Battle World Championship International Tournament.

Thank goodness, after I spent hours putting that picture together it occurred to me that you might find the DRAGOON spam to be excessive, which thankfully you did not.
