Foot to the face? Yes, that is in fact a foot in my face. The strike was sufficient enough to make him pull out of the punch, and the follow up was enough to send him back a good distance with a searing pain in his right side just below the ribs. When he hit the ground he was about three feet away, still within Fury's range of punches and a little outside of his own. Even if that hit had've sent him careening through the air he would still be within Fury's range. Gotta keep close to him and within his own range, rather than within Fury's range. It seems that he wasn't the one who got the first hit in, that was always a good sign.

Seeing his foe ready himself into a proper combat stance he decided to do the same, taking in a deep breath he raised his hands up to chin height and kept his elbows parted. The placement of his feet was deliberately sloppy, Kanitah wanted to be at a disadvantage. The Pundambayan needed to gauge Fury's strengths before he could properly deliver a beating. As well as likely luring Fury into a sense of confidence by seeing an untrained foe trying to fight him.

"So, you've got some training. Good. Give me a challenge, boy-o." The hero gave a lopsided grin behind his bushy beard. Because no, he did not hear Fury give him some bullshit warning. That's why he wears the headphones.

Khazna had bid his troops to standby for now; meanwhile he had doubled around and was now crouched low as he traversed a giant petrified strand of web. It was wider then he was tall, thus making it a simple task to cross. Khazna, otherwise known as Tablurath, could only marvel at the huge webs spread out across the plane. Surely no mortal spiders had weaved such massive constructs to be sure. The strands of energy in the realm were also unlike anything Khazna had ever seen. The realm seemed dead for the most part, but their existed an unnatural bundle of power bound within the very heart of the Daemon pits.

Something like that was worth exploring further- but not now, he had a mission to complete. On the great mound of rock suspended by countless gigantic spider webs, Fury seemed to have begun trading blows with a yet unidentified humanoid. Whoever they were, they possessed an adequate amount of power themselves, yet Khazna was sure Fury could handle him. That left questioning of the lanky looking fellow to him. The spider webs that made up the plane made not only achieving a high ground advantage a simple task, it made traveling undetected while keeping track of his target childishly easy; at least when one possessed the preternatural sight he did.

The man had stopped atop a rise of earth, a small natural or built cave at its base. Khazna's strand of web did not lead directly above the man, but it did end at a pillar of rock rising ten feet above the man’s position. Once he reached it he estimated he was no more than approximately seven meters from the man, to his 6 o'clock. Standing at his full height he studied this one carefully, he carried a unique aura about him and as if his use of some odd sort of skates was not already an indication, he possessed more than a few powers. Beyond that, it seemed the man shivered now and again, most would not have perceived it from this distance, but Khazna easily picked it up.

With a smiled hidden underneath his black skull faced mask, he cleared his throat. "Oi there traveler! Well now! What do we have here?! I hope you don't mind me saying, but you surely don't look like you’re from around here do you?" Then the palm of his hand lightly struck his forehead in mock rebuke. "Ah! But where are my manners? My name is Tablurath, Cardinal of the 6 fleet and conquistador extraordinaire! Who might you be if I may ask? And from where might you hail?"

Khazna waited with his arms folded at his back and out of sight as he patiently waited an answer. Mean time his eyes scrutinized the fabrics of reality that melded and bent around the man before him.

Alex watched from a dustance to where the troops were at standby. Apparently undecteted as he had a front row seat of a fight. Too far away to make out who was fighting but got the idea that something was up where the infantry unit was at. With that in mind; he starts thinking of how he can cause trouble enough to get himself reconized as a monster not to be messed with. His shadowy appendages have started linking out of his back before they start forming a pair lf jet black wings. Kicking off from the flying ship and takes flight to where the fights were at.

Bursting in with speed as he looks over head to see blows exchange from two superbeings. Grinning with excitement as he decides not to interrupt their little brawl, but he did see some armed forces close by and crouched down. Spider webs acting as bridges only made him smirk with the thought they will most likely kill the winner or is going to ambush one of them. Not wanting the fun to end so he focus his power in his left hand as black flames soon grow. Rising his hand up in the air and the flings his arm down, throwing the fireball at the web bridge and watch it burn to a crisp. Obivously will travel since the webs are connected with one another. Smoke soons fills the sky and covers the fight of fury and his enemy, giving the troops outside of combat a disadvantage since they cant see what would happen to their target.

Fury’s people obviously didn’t have headphones, so he didn’t really understand his opponent’s apparent lack of visual acuity. Still, if the bearded man was deaf as a bat, it was no skin off his shoulder.

He noted his opponent’s apparent lack of training in regards to his footing, though his subterfuge was a little weak all things considered, because he had literally just pointed out Fury’s obvious degree of training as if he knew what he was talking about. He was also clearly fairly old, and with his attitude towards fighting Fury was fully aware there was no chance he’d have lasted this long with such sloppy footwork.

Unless he was just stupid and relied on power far more than skill, in which case his fate was sealed.

Of course, Fury was calculating all this quickly because the bearded fellow was talking just three feet away from him. Even as he was about to finish his sentence Fury launched a powerful and quick jab with his right hand to test the guard, aimed for his foe’s jaw, while it was open mid-word, he stepped into the attack on the dominant side. Despite the forcefulness of his attack, it was clear the attack was testing at best, with little threat of overextending for the Fireen. However, should it land the follow up upper-cut to the stomach with his left hand would be with every ounce of force he could muster, and Fury fully expected to lift the older gentleman off his feet and skyward.

It seems the two of them were both testing the waters here, checking eachother's strengths and weaknesses. I say that because of the fist headed towards Kanitah's face. Now, if he had the drive to, he would have decided upon the more 'cool' choice of headbutting Fury's hand. However, knowing that his foe is more than capable of moving his body with a punch, he decided to reciprocate the action. Turning his head and tilting his neck to the left the punch ran across his beard in a harmless way.

Pushing himself forward up Fury's arm he spun around and raised his left arm, bringing it upwards over Fury's own and riding with it. Taking two steps forward, Kanitah's intention was clear. With his weight behind it he was going to strike Fury with the flat of his arm, making his two forearm rings strike him in the face.

Unaware of Fury's ability to consume energy, he was not aware of the chance to have those rings actually feed his foe. However, in his experience with fighting those who take the lives of others so lightly. The rings that Darligrov supplies him with were never pleasant to feel rubbing across one's face. Most certainly not when it's been swung forwards like a warhammer in motion.

See, pushing oneself past another’s arm might work if they were launching some massive overly embellished hay-maker, but a jab was a jab, and it moved a hell of a lot faster than someone else could move unless they were particularly fast. It was acceptable for Fury’s foe to quickly slip his punch, though he certainly hadn’t expected it, but moving past and into his guard? That was never going to work when Fury had obviously intended to keep his attack reserved.

His arm back into a guard position long before his foe could get close to him; he simply took two smooth steps back away from him while also to the right to avoid any attack he tried to launch, then began strafing around him counter-clockwise and maintaining a cool distance. Fury wanted to box, at least for a little while, and he wasn’t feeling like getting in close and finishing his seemingly easy opponent. Four feet separated them unless his opponent was able to burst forward over the incredibly short distance with enough speed to surprise the Fireen.

He used his battlefield senses and a short life of experience to feel his way across the battlefield. The footing was treacherous at best, though the precipice on either side of their particular island of rock was a goodly distance away at least. The webbing couldn’t stop Fury, but in the wrong circumstances it could hold him up and make him vulnerable. A casual observer with some strangely innate knowledge of Fury may be wondering why he wasn’t following his usual brute force methods, and the truth was he was feeling a little foolish after his enraged attack on someone he thought was Skallagrim. The soldier deep inside him resented his poor actions, made him realise that sort of shit wasn’t going to cut it when he fought the real Skallagrim, so he was determined to take down this opponent properly. It was this that presented him from just blasting him through the earth with energy, or draining his energy with a paralysing choke. However, his opponent could certainly anger the Fireen if he wasn’t so ignorant of his personal history, for now though it was going to be tactical and brutal in a powerful mix of Cold Fury.

The Fireen continued to circle, watching carefully for any sign that his foe had anything in store for him, prepared to counter and if necessary, kill.

This is going to be a long one, he thought to himself as his arm swung helplessly forward missing it's target entirely. It was certain, Fury's going to be harder to beat down than any foe in recent history. Pundambaya's hero frowned as his enemy began circling around him, Kanitah turned to face him and followed suit. Locking eyes and raising his arms back up to his chin. There was a moment of relative calm, sharply contrasted by the sounds of guitars screaming through his headphones. Neither party was making a move yet, continuing in their tight circle.

He decided right now that it wasn't going to be him. If this guy was going to box, then he'd have to take the first step across no-man's land. Instead he reached to his shoulders and began dropping the rings that hovered around his body down to his hands. Two more to each hand, bringing the total rings up to four each. This is about the most vulnerable moment to strike him, as his guard is pretty low while he's moving the rings.

If the rings are transfered down, then his punches will carry exponentially more force than they currently do. It would also wrap most of his hands up in the rings of energy. Making every punch carry a painful burning touch to them.

Fury couldn’t profess to understanding in the very brief moment before he struck what exactly his opponent was doing. However, considering the intensity of his observation, it was no surprise that he immediately spotted the guard lowering and capitalised on the weakness. In fact, his opponent had done worse then dropped his guard, he’d completely disarmed himself by seizing something on his own shoulders, rings of some form which spoke of energy Fury would rather not contend with.

Drawing back to the attack at hand, Fury lurched forward with all his speed, which was a hell of a lot more than any human could hope to attain. His right fist bunched into another forceful jab aimed at his opponent’s completely unguarded face. The joint leg followed its earlier motion, but this time Fury had every intention of following up with the cross, delivered straight afterwards with even more force by his left hand, also striking for the face. His legs met and then carried forward, provided his attacks made purchase.

Fury however still seemed reluctant to lay off on the pressure, and provided circumstances were still obviously favourable (saying that his opponent had not unleashed some attack which could easily stop any further moves by the Fireen) he would continue his combination of blows with two fast paced and lethal low shots to the older man’s stomach with his right fist, the first aimed at taking him off his feet and the second delivered with a slight crouch to literally launch him up and away from the arena, possibly even off the edge off the rocks roughly twenty feet behind him. The Fireen wasn’t holding back on force in his blows, or ferocity, that much was certain.

For the one moment Kanitah looked up he saw the fist coming, completely taken by this sudden assault. The blow struck him directly in his face, but Kanitah's dropped guard was only a dropped guard. It was not a weakness. Fury's blow bent him backwards, almost knocking him off balance from the force of the strike. And, the hero must admit, his nose broke when the second punch came. The second strike bent his knee and damn near put him to the ground, but in retalliation he raised his right leg upwards to Fury's groin.

Now, a little bit of information about this kick to the groin. Kanitah's feet carry two rings, as to his shins. That means a sum total of three times the strike will be applied when it makes contact with Fury's delicates. Unless Fury's secretly a eunuch, this was going to be the most painful kick to the dangly parts in the history of the multiverse.

Whether or not it landed, this strike was going to knock Kanitah off his feet and to the ground with a loud thunk. Cursing himself under his breath for letting his guard down long enough to be floored. Kanitah smiled though, for fortunately, his rings now adorned his fists. All four per hand were now wrapped around him to allow for a most devastating surprise when Fury recovered from the kick to his groin.

Man, that old man really has some moves. Moves that involved getting punched in the face, apparently. Well that's lame. Khold know's for a fact he can move faster than that, he saw it happen. I mean come on dude. He sighs and shakes his head, shivering a bit. "Goddamn I hate this place." Zipping up his jacket all the way, he buries his face into the collar. "I want to go back to Florida, where at least it's a bit warm." Not that it was ever really warm for Kholdony. Hell, wandering around to check that burning fire out seems like almost a good idea right now. It wouldn't do much to him. Fire pretty much quenches itself whenever he gets within 10 feet of it. Or at least it CAN quench itself. When Khold's on full output, he freezes everything, even down to the stuff in the air. Oxygen, hydrogen, carbon dioxide. All of it. And frozen oxygen, well, to same that it's not very burnable is the understatement of the century.

Khold wonders whether or not he should help. He wants to, he's well aware that he can do some damage, though he doesn't know what the Bald Guy can do, but honestly he thinks that the Old Guy would just get mad at him for interrupting his glorious battle. Or something. He looks like the kind of Old Dude to say some shit like that. Shrugging his shoulders, the massive down coat rustling with the movement. He's glad he has the coat. Even if it doesn't exactly make him warmer, it does make him feel safer. Kind of like a security blanket. Oh yeah, and the fact that he knows most predators won't be able to penetrate the coat, and even if they can, its their own death sentence, cause now they're gonna freeze to death. Yeah, all warm and toasty with that though. Kholodny pinches his brow. He just wanted to have a nice relaxing day.

"Oi there traveler! Well now! What do we have here?! I hope you don't mind me saying, but you surely don't look like you’re from around here do you?"

Kholodny jumps a bit, not expecting to hear anyone calling to him. "What the hell was that?" He mutters, far too quietly for anyone to hear. Looking up and behind him. (Right? Is this Khold's Six o Clock or Khazna's?) he spots the man.

"Ah! But where are my manners? My name is Tablurath, Cardinal of the 6 fleet and conquistador extraordinaire! Who might you be if I may ask? And from where might you hail?" Oh, well at least he's pleasant enough. Kholodny grins and creates a pillar of ice under his feet, with a three foot radius, going up about ten feet, until he is level with the Cardinal. "Well a good day to you as well sir. My name is Kholodny Zima, which is Russian for 'Cold Winter'. Yes, I know, you don't need to say it, it is indeed a very fitting name." He removes his left hand from its coat pocket and begins to rub his chin. "So I'm taking it that you're the leader of all those ships that just came out?" He takes a few steps back on the platform, the ice forming right under his feet as he steps, an instantaneous process. "And friends with that guy?" He points down to Fury. "The guy that tried to kill me?"

Kholodny stops taking his steps, now standing about 40 feet from Khazna, the icy platform now having a long extension coming off of the side. "Gotta say, not off to a great start for us being friends. But, you've not done anything to me yet, so I see no reason for us to try and kill each other. What would you like to speak to me about?" Kholodny is not an unreasonable man, and Khazna does not look like someone to quick to jump the gun either. Maybe someone won't have to die.

Fury was moving with sheer adrenaline and reflex, muscle memory, which was why after his first two blows landed powerfully on his opponent’s fragile face he was moving in to launch the final two lower punches. This put him forward on his right foot, and when his opponent apparently committed to some form of falling kick he was pretty confused and surprised, but none of this influenced his defence. He dropped his left leg into the path of the flailing limb, where the blow glanced off his own shin before it could arc up and into his relatively unprotected groin.

What Fury had not been expecting was the pain the contact caused, far disproportionate to the force of the attack. He jumped backwards in alarm, the leg failing momentarily under his weight before life began to return, though when he looked down the blow had singed straight through his tough trousers. He took a few more cursory steps backwards, aware that he should have immediately taken advantage of his opponent’s position on the ground but unwilling to jump in until he had worked out what had happened.

After a moment of quick thinking, likely giving Kanitah the seconds required to regain his feet, Fury worked out that the rings adorning his foes body were lending him greater strength. This was troublesome to the Fireen, because he had the least resistance to a foe matching him in sheer melee force. Still, it wasn’t enough to cause fear, not yet at least, Fury could claim bravery if nothing else.

And if he was resorting to his tricks, then Fury would do the same.

He rolled his right arm and shook the pain from his left leg as he stared at his opponent across the ten feet separating them. Then, he drew his right hand low to his hip, cupping energy in his hand, it wasn’t quite visible yet, but the force was growing with every second. With his left hand he held a fist out and ready to defend himself, it was time to heat things up.

Success! With the Fireen backed off he slapped the ground with both hands, riding the force from his palms up to his feet again. Immediately he saw Fury's hands glowing in the nastiest and meanest way. A boxing match between the big nasty and the big hero, huh? Alright, if that's the kind of fight you want. Kanitah thought to himself. Then I'll give you that kind of fight. Those ring around his body shook like the rattles on a snake, no sound came from them as they shook, it was the simplest thing. "I think you're going to be the most fun fight I've had in a long time. Are you ready to stop messing around? Because I know I am."

Taking in a deep breath he prepped himself, lowering his hands to his sides and sliding his feet to the sides. Leading with his left foot, Kanitah is left handed, placing his right foot backwards and lowering himself closer to the ground. Digging his feet into the webs he took into account that there was only a few yards between him and the cliff, the pundambayan did not have the luxury of falling. There were ten feet between him and Fury, it wasn't far, especially considering Kanitah's devilishly deceptive speed.

With a shake of the head he took the headphones off, they drapped around his shoulders and a grin grew on his face. "Now that I have your attention. What's your name, son?" Remembering an old addage from his homeworld about how its better to know your enemy than your own friends. Something about how in combat you are closer to your foes than you will ever be with companionship. It was a very old saying.

Oh. Right. With a quick movement he reached up to his nose and grabbed it with his hand, pulling down and to the right. The bone snapped into place again, and a thin trickle of brownish blood dripped out. Afterwards he lowered his hand back down to his side.

Khazna clapped his hands together at the mention of Fury, followed by a shake of his head. "Ah, so you met mister Sunshine over there, hmm?" Then adding with the hint of a smile on his eyes. "Yes not the most pleasant fellow, has an odd way of saying hello really, not at all reasonable that one." He sighed and shook his head again.

His head quickly shot up again as he took in the man before him. As the discolored aura of energy around him had hinted, he did indeed possess some unusual powers. Those involving creating ice from a few molecules of water in the air no less! He also took note of the odd black flames that had struck the bridge of web he had walked across. A section a little over the size of the fire ball burst up in smoke and was gone. It should be noted that spider silk does not actually burn, thus it hardly produced but the tiniest hint of smoke. What fire did was shrivel webs, quite rapidly, when they were exposed to intense heat.

Though wit that thought in mind a flamethrower would have been a great way to get through an area clogged with the abnormally giant cobwebs, though it sadly wouldn't cause the kind of pyrotechnics less informed people might believe. Thus the fire and smoke had consumed itself almost as quickly as it had appeared. Not that Khazna ignored the display. Though he was left wondering why anyone had blasted that area web strand. If the bridge of web had been wood however, this whole place might have ignited, thank goodness these were spider silks. Not that he would have cared much, he had no fear of the elements, and smoke would be no danger to him.

His eyes momentarily traveled up to a flying figure overhead with shadowy wings seemingly keeping them aloft. He had no idea who they might be, but now that he knew they were there he would be ready for any other tricks they decided to play. With his full attention on the strange human with ice powers standing before him he chuckled once they finished speaking and said. "Indeed! No reason to stabby stab each other today! At least..not if you answer a few questions honestly." And with a dark gleam to his eyes he added. "And do know I can tell if you lie to me, Kholodny Zima."

He then tapped his lower chin, even though he still wore his mask. "Hmm, an interesting name, but I digress." His eyes flashed over Kholodny again, and he detected something else strange about him. More than one strand of life existed within him, one far brighter than the other, as if he possessed two lives instead of one. "Now, to business, as I noted you are surely no native of this plane. Tell me, might have you possibly seen…oh say a giant skeleton with a horrible fashion sense of late? He might have called himself a dreamer ."

Then for the second time Khazna took note of every fiber of being that made up Kholodny Zima. Peering deep into his very being, and noting that he more than shaped ice, but held an unnaturally cold aura about him. He also noted the fissures of energy that held the pillar of ice his new friend had made. A knowing smile spread under his mask matched only by his bright dark eyes, both hands resting comfortably at his sides.

Khold wrinkles his nose in distaste. I hate the smell of smoke. It always makes it harder to breathe. Though, I've never really had actual trouble with breathing. Hmm. I guess thats just me bitching then. He shrugs his shoulders and a looks over to where the smoke is coming from. Lets see here, the webbing is on fire, but seeing as it's basically petrified stone, it doesn't seem to be going anywhere. Kholodny really doesn't know how that works, cause spoiler warning: Fire isn't really his area of expertise. "Whatever. I'm not in the mood for this shit." A giant wall of ice begins to erect itself in the direction of the fire, blocking the smoke from reaching Kholodny. The smoke doesn't just go around either, no sir. The ice is so cold, the smoke just freezes to it, adding onto the wall. Boom, instant air purifier. I mean, he could have just frozen the smoke itself, but that's not nearly as much fun.

"There we go! With that settled." He continues looking at Khazna, having not even moved to create that ice wall. Yeah, he doesn't actually need to move in order to make ice. It is not powered by hand motions or anything, though Kholodny generally DOES make motions in order to better direct it or for rule of cool. Not that anyone would be able to figure that out, or at least he assumes. Speaking of anyone, he's wondering about this individual in front of him. What a mysterious looking individual. Mask on his face, showed up with a full scale space armada, snuck up on him, AND he knows the Bald Guy. Refers to him as Mister Sunshine no less. That's not a sign of anything pleasant Kholodny can think of.

And what's with his attitude? As long as you answer honestly? What a pompous sounding douchebag. Thinks he's so good. I can tell when you lie to me. Pffft, ooooo so scary. Give me a break. No reason to stabby stab? Are you serious right now? If you treat me like a child, I'll murder you in cold blood. Heheh get it? God I'm lame. Kholodny sighs, a thick chunk of ice forming in front of him and then falling to the ground as his more than icy breath flows out. "So you can tell when I lie huh? Well it's a good thing I'm normally pretty inclined to telling the truth then." What's behind that mask anyway? Probably something with a goatee. He seems like someone with a goatee. Is he trying to say something about my name? He better not."But yes, you're right. I am not even close to being from this plane, or planet, or whatever the hell this spider hell is. I'm just from Earth, a normal human being. Or at least I was a normal human at some point." He rubs his nose. Way to state the obvious dicklord.

"I have seen a skull, though I don't know if there was a full skeleton below it. He was a pretty scary dude, though I cannot for the life of me remember whether he called himself a dreamer. I may or may not have been paying the best attention when he was talking. I was scared shitless of everything that could possibly kill me." He stares directly at Khazna, unflinching, his eyes glowing a piercing blue. His arms come out of the giant coat and cross in front of him, his bluish hands gripping his biceps. "Yeah, I'm not the bravest dude in the world, though it seems like I've not been having the most choice in being brave or not around here. It's either fight or die, and I don't think ol Stribog would be incredibly happy with me if I bit the dust here." He doesn't bother to explain who Stribog is, he's sure Khazna doesn't care one way or another.

His opponent regained his feet, and then asked the question he feared most, this time he was inclined to answer.

“I am Fury.” The Fireen spat as the Void within him broke into his voice more than usual, as it always did when he was asked questions of his identity. The reasons for the Void’s more direct influence than usual were fairly complex, though at a simple level it had to maintain control over its host, and to do that required the destruction of Manadar’s old identity.

Now, it was time for some of the classic Fury charm.

His right hand shot out directly towards his opponent, though even before the movement the energy he had cupped into his hand was shot forward at an incredibly fast rate, faster than Fury could see even. It sliced through the earth in a four foot high two feet wide wave of power, breaking the fragile crust as it sought Fury’s opponent’s blood. Should it hit an ordinary human, they would likely be torn in half by the force of the heavy handed energy-laden blow, but its effects on his opponent were far harder to predict, should it land at all.

Pundambayan law dictates quite a few things, but the benchmarks are about vigilant justice.

A: Always know your foe.
B: Only kill if its the only resort.

About the first one.

There was something unnatural about the way Fury spoke his name, a wavering. Was he- Was he hesitating? The elderly man's eyes narrowed to thin slits, looking into his foes eyes. "Fury eh? Angry name y'got there." And then he threw that blast of energy, a big slicing blast of blue death. Not enough time to sit around thinking about his opponent's name, introductions had been made and that's all that really matters.

As the blast closed the distance he smiled, bringing up his energy ring coated hands and leaning forward. Putting both hands out in front of him, and sliding his leg backwards. With a small and alarmingly fast shove Kanitah was sent flying forward into the blade. Kanitah blasted through the assault with both hands, like a bullet passing through a balloon, he tore through the blue energy and felt its heat scrape across his body. It shredded his shirt and the leather sack that contained his metal machine pack, leaving his upper body exposed to the air. The engine itself hung on by two pairs of metal straps that were fastened to his shoulders and under his ribs.

The blast of blue energy split in two around him, Kanitah burst through and landed on his hands and knees after breaking through. That hurt a lot more than he had hoped it would. There were only about five feet between the two now, that blast had taken out almost all of the speed from his jump. It carried force and heat, and that was worrysome.

Kanitah slapped the ground and rose to his feet, raising his hands up again. "You're gonna have to hit with a lot more force than that to break me, Fury. I don't know what you think I am, but I'm not at all what you are. I'm from the Pundambaya system, where I come from, you'd be considered scrawny." To emphasize this point, without his shirt on he tensed up the muscles in his chest and shoulders, showing their remarkable tone despite his age.

Fury’s eyes narrowed as he watched his opponent dive directly through one of his energy blasts, suffering few of the expected injuries, it was a good gauge of his durability. The Fireen was also settling back into his earlier defensive stance, expecting an attack immediately considering the nature of his defence, but instead he got more talk after his foe jumped back onto his feet faster than Fury could take advantage of his stumble.

This one talks too much.

Fury charged at the so called hero as he flexed his muscles like some kind of male model. Though five feet hardly required much of a charge, it was more like a powerful burst off the ground sheering through webs like paper, and in a single bound Fury was close enough to swing a devastating blow towards his opponent’s body, aiming to crush his left ribs with a heavy right hand.

However, the swing was expendable at best, and Fury expected his opponent to respond with a guard even though he was being accosted in far from the best states (flexing rather than in a guard or at least some semblance of a fighting stance.) When the inevitable happened, his momentum would in fact carry him into a vicious round-house kick, his right foot launched with enough force to simply crush through any hastily built up guard and through to his opponent’s ribs. However, it was the slight edge Fury gave himself with a sudden unleashing of energy that would hopefully lend his blow the force to launch his opponent across the arena of battle.

There was always room for talk on the battlefield, if one maintains dead silence in the heat of battle they can lose themselves to the silence. Knowing little more than combat by the end of their lives, and Kanitah knew full well what it was like to lose himself to war. Quickly after returning to his feet he was assaulted again, it seems that Fury didn't like banter. Good news is, Kanitah doesn't need to banter. The fist struck his ribs with deadly force, and it would have shredded him if he were just some normal man.

Unfortunately for Fury's cause, he's not.

The second strike sent him sliding, a small hairline fracture in his lowermost rib wound its way upwards in an antagonizing piercing pain. The ground shredded as his feet ground across the webbed footing below, that cliff seemed uncomfortably close right about now. Throwing the weight of his arm forward he slowed himself down with the excessive force from his punch, grinding to a halt just before going over. A single rock, in stereotypical fashion, dropped off the edge and down into the pit below.

The pain in his side slowly subsided and he brought his hands back to his guard. Putting his feet into position for a lunge if need be, he began to think to himself. He had seen Fury fly, but right now he wasn't. Something was stopping him from taking the higher ground, whether it was pride or some external source. This would be useful information, especially considering that Kanitah cannot actually fly. So, whatever attack comes next was going to be followed by a quick drop into the pits below. Because Kanitah was not going into that pit alone, especially with Fury still being loose up here.

“You’re not putting up much of a fight.” Fury told him with disdain evident in his voice, only moments after his feet touched down from his powerful energy-laced kick. If it came to it Fury would happily beat his opponent into the dirt.

His glance took in his opponent’s new position by the edge of the rocky island they were suspended upon. It seemed like a golden opportunity to deal with a foe who had showed no signs of being able to fly un-aided, though the Fireen was doubtful as to such an easy solution existing. It seemed like his opponents as of late were far more resilient then he was used to.

Let’s see him survive this.

The energy-wielding brute strode towards Kanitah purposely, his hands splayed and low palms down. Concentrating hard, he felt the energy within him swirling, biting, eager to escape the fate it faced within him at the mercy of the void. It manifested itself as two, sharp and bright, crescents of death which he balanced carefully underneath his hands. Fifteen feet, ten feet, he launched both discs with lethal intent; they crossed in mid-air and burst forward towards the hero at the side of the cliff. They were cutting off his escape by approaching him from each side at an angle, leaving only backwards and a narrow path directly ahead to conceivably escape the blades before they cut him through the middle. Unconsciously perhaps, the attack was similar in essence to one which had been successful against General Freedom previously, time would tell if results would be the same here.

Regardless, Fury maintained his stride, because if Kanitah took the easiest escape directly forward it would place him into the path of the melee-dominating Fireen, who was more than happy to punch him off the cliff himself.

"Neither are you." Was the short response he barked back at Fury, watching him form the twin blades and slowly march towards him. Two blasts of energy at once, that would be devastating. The first was enough to cause a burning sensation throughout his body, what would two striking at the same time do? Kanitah shuddered to imagine. When the blades fired he was more than ready, shifting his footing only slightly to alter his trajectory.

Fury had thought only about one thing, which way he was going to go? Was he going to charge headlong into it? Jump over the edge? Try to leap to the side?

Nope.

Kanitah's lunge was aimed just over Fury's big bald head. Up and over the blades he went and in an arc over the Fireen's body. The twin blades struck eachother underneath him just as he leaped forwards. Ignoring the thought of 'that could have been me,' he flew towards Fury, bringing his arm backwards and turning his shoulder towards him. With a quick twist of his body he was sent spiraling through the air at him, like a drill with fists as the pointy bit. This was just about as show-offy as you can get, and to be honest it's less effective than it looks. It only carried the force of his jump and his weight, there was no swing involved in it, it was just him flying towards Fury with his fists extended.

It would get the message across that Kanitah isn't like anyone that Fury has fought in the past before. Kanitah isn't going to lose.
