Big question: Are we totally recreating this world? Or shall we just take the lands and things that exist and repurpose them?

My question, I guess is: how much are we redoing?

I feel that should happen sense it'd be weird to rp neerly the same scenario...

Eh, it doesn't have to be the same situation just because it's the same people. Butterfly effect, yo. A slight difference can greatly change the line of events.

Well, we can create our own world. Own towns own places, things like that. we also need to decide if its just that, a block of land with numerous places, or have they expanded across the sea? Are there islands? What level of technology do they have? trans and things? Electricity? that sort of thing.

I think that sounds a lot easier to do, but then again it's not too hard making the layout of a world.

If anything we can use the same layout and rename the countries/towns.

We could also do both with the magic, as in using weapons to express the magic as well, I guess, using raw magic without weapons. But like you said Caits, have heavy limitations.

Or one of them, I dunno.

Also could characters have passive magical strengths..

As a lot of Corsa's story has to do with ummm..... being too tied to electricity to the point were touching bare skin always induces a light shock.
