You can't let her remember all that much about her old past she will learn about what truly happened to her with the count. if the count does the impossible then we are all saved but his hunger keeps growing" she warned before walking off. The count blinked , his hunger was small but nothing yetr. he blinked his regunated eyes happily "alright lets go, where is she now?" he mutters.

Bane shrugged and said "not sure...she went to learn about the people...boss, maybe it was wrong to bring her?"

Avery was on one of the roof tops, looking around and thinking. She had been too harsh with the count. She knew that. But why? Why had such anger come out seeing him the next day after him coming back? No...it was when he was telling her what to do. Why did it matter.... "Because it always mattered. We were a team, not master and pawn" she turned sharply around and saw no one there. She turned again so violently that her foot slipped and she lost her balance, falling off the roof

The count was about to answer but shot off like a bullet through streets his feet never touched the ground. just before avery could touch the ground the count caught her and fell over at the feeling of geeting fallen on. he groaned in pain as two ribs had cracked but she was safe that's what mattered. he coughed "ugh....Avery you ok?" he mutters.;

Avery cried out then felt arms around her and both of them hit the ground. When she came back to her senses she looked at him and saw the count. "Alucard...I'm so sorry are you alright?" She helped him sit up, looking concerned and worried, the old Avery again. Bane came running over, looking panicked. "You two alright?"

Alucard yowled in pain as his ribs throbbed "ribs...ribs are broken " he winced "I'm fine though " he said in agony. He blinked slightly his red eyes flashed "Avery you ok?"

She nodded, bane kneeling down and checking him over. "Yep, busted two by the looks....Avery, try that heat thing" Avery looked at him and said "his not human bane" bane shrugged and said "it's worth a try. They will heal fast but he will be in pain." Avery sighed then rubbed her hands together. "It's a trick my mother taught me..." She placed her hands on the bruised skin and moved gently, letting her energy heat the skin and dull the pain

Alucard blinked his eyes slightly the pain dulled "that's a useful trick " he said smiling.

She smiled and said "it's helped a bit with bane and I...I'm sorry for how I acted last night. I don't know what came over me" bane looked up and said "what made you fall in the first place?"

Alucard smiled weakly "all is forgiven friend, now I do think it is best we leave soon." he said smiling gently getting up slowly.

Avery nodded and helped him up, bane watching her. He grabbed her arm and said "you heard that voice again, didn't you?" Avery look down and nodded.

"what voice?" Dracula asked confused

Bane looked at her and said "for about a month she's been hear this...voice. Last time she fell off her horse. The other time she was nearly shot." Avery pulled her arm free and said "it's nothing..."

"can you describe his voice?" he asked confused

She closed her eyes and said "it's a female voice...to be honest it sounds like my mother or me but older...with a English accent. I'm losing it, stress related that's all"

The count sighed gently looking at her "should I tell her?" He asked Bane.

Bane shook his head and said "not here...somewhere we are alone and can explain..." Suddenly bane froze, his eyes wide and changing to gold. Avery looked at him and said "bane? You alright?"

The count looked at Bane "bro? You ok?" He asked

Bane didn't answer and Avery moved in front of him and snapped her fingers in his face. Nothing. She stepped back and said "I've never seen him like this....have you?"

"Bane? BANE!" the count said as he tried to get back to reality

Bane still didn't move then Avery rested a hand on the counts shoulder and sniffed the air. "That's smell in the air. That wasn't here a moment ago...what is that?" Bane started to shaking slightly.
