The alpha huffed nodding. Alucard turned his head to see Bane blinked his eyes nodding his head.

Bane kept him steady and said "let me go...I can finish this. You can't kill your own..."

Avery sat on the bed, closing her eyes. "I thought I was helping...scaring them off...but of course I just make it worse"

The alpha looked at her "you tried" he said.

Alucard shook his head "no bane their my kids" he grunted in pain.

Avery looked at him and said "I'm sorry about all of this..."

Bane frowned and said " look at you, you can barely..." He stopped then pulled his sleeve up and said "drink my blood. You'll get the power boost you need to end this"

The alpha was amused "don't be sorry" he said.

Alucard blinked "Bane I can't drink your blood and you know why your body couldn't handle it"

Avery looked T him and said "is there anything I can do? To make up for your losses?"

Bane said " I'll be fine. Fast healer remember? You need fresh blood and we are running out of time. So hurry up" he finished with his sleeve and held out his arm

"No our pack will be fine young one" the alpha smiles gently.

Alucard looked at him "this is the last time I do this bane" he mutters and sank his fangs in gently and drank till he felt better and then let go. He licked the wound clean and it healed. He then caught band and sat him near the stairs.

Avery sighed and then looked up. "Cooking! I can feed the pack!"

Bane swayed till he caught him, the world spinning. "That's what you said last time boss...there's two of you...your back to normal..."

"Rest up Bane I'll be back " he said and leavs into fog of the night.

The alpha nodded "ok" he said before getting Bane

Avery went him to find bane leaning against the wall. Avery went to him and said " bane? What happened to you?" Bane looked up and said "hey kiddo...you learned that doubling trick too..."

"He's a bit disoranted right now" the alpha said

Avery nodded and rested a hand on his shoulder. "You let him drink from you, didn't you" bane nodded and said "was the only way..." He fell to the side and Avery caught him. "Is he going to be alright?"

"His healing will come into play and his blood will come back" he said slowly and put bane on a chair.

Avery nodded, watching bane rest before saying "I'll go get dinner made..." She left the room and bane said weakly "she's scared for him..."

The alpha raised eyebrow "scared for who Dracula ?" The alpha nearly fell out laughing "oh bane no need to worry about him neither should she he'll be back..... He always comes back"

Bane opened his eyes weakly and said "she reminds him of her...I don't know what he will do if that girl is threatened again...the human the furies killed last night...he tried to hurt her..."

"Bane get some rest. The count will be fine as well as Avery"

Bane sighed and nodded. Hours later after Avery made dinner for the pack and she got them all rooms for the night she was in the den, wanting to wait up for the count. But she didn't last long and dosed off in the big arm chair, a book on her lap

The next day rolled by...no sign of the count. The wolves where getting worried now. Till one screamed "Bane" and pointing out side. A shreded and torn up count limped up the hill but collasped half way. Blood pooling around him. He was holding onto life by a thread.

Bane was outside in a heart beat, shifting and running full speed to him. He shifted back and picked up his old friend and said "you fool...what did you do?" Avery was waiting by the main doors as he brought him inside. She walked with him as bane said "he needs fresh blood again...I'll do a transfusion "
