[IC] Young Justice: New Beginnings

[Kitty]

Hayley just rolled her eyes and walked away. She sat down against the wall and sighed. 'What am I gonna do? I just want to get this over with and have Nate back...' She thought putting her head in her hands and rubbing her temples.

[Demon Shinobi]

With that Deathstroke got to work formulating his plans. "Red Devil. What do you think about all of this?" He asked him quietly.

[Kitty]

"She will be strong after some time. Once she has done bad things again she may not ever be able to return to the good side. We may have gained a strong new villain." Red devil said smirking

[Demon Shinobi]

Deathstroke nodded in agreement. Still in the back of his mind he knew that there was always the chance that she could go back. These heroes had a thing about that. His worry was that it would be his grandson who would bring her back. Perhaps they could put off his return. Or make it not happen at all.

[Kitty]

Hayley sat there until she finally fell asleep.
"Well you better plan something out for her. Work her hard make her believe that if you work her harder then she will get back Nate sooner. I know how she is driven and using her desire to get him back will help you with anything you want her to do." Red Devil said

[Demon Shinobi]

"You come a long way." Deathstroke said calmly. "Now go rest. We'll continue tomorrow."

[Kitty]

"Fine." she says angrily as she sits down and leans against a wall. Hayley silently sat there before falling asleep somehow although she never thought she would be able to fall asleep.

[Demon Shinobi]

About a week passed and Hayley was coming along nicely. Right now it was early morning and she was sleeping. Deathstroke decided to awaken her by throwing her into the center of the warehouse floor. She was tied up and there were guys all around her. Lets just say the look in their eyes wasn't the one a guy would give a girl he wanted to help out or just be friends with. "Take them down without killing them. You survive and I'll know we're ready to begin the journey to bring Nathaniel back. " He said rather coldly.

[Kitty]

Hayley stood up as quickly as she could. She heard someone running towards her behind her, she jumped and kicked backwards like a horse would do, she used the momentum and rolled forward back to standing up. Hayley noticed one of the men had a sword so she charged forward and rammed her shoulder into him causing him to drop the sword, with her telekinesis she picked the sword up and cut the rope off of her legs but she was tackled before she could cut the arms, the man who tackled her began punching her over and over and when he looked down at her and smirked she spit blood into his eyes and used the distraction to knee his crotch. She kicked him off and cut the hand ropes and got into fighting position. She began fighting them mixing her newly trained hand to hand combat skills with her telekinesis allowing her to soon beat the group up until they were all unconscious and tied together hanging from the ceiling(done with her telekinesis haha). "That good enough for you?" She asked pushing a blonde strand of hair behind her ear before crossing her Arms, her hair had been cut and dyed and she now wore full black clothing with purple contacts in her eyes, she went by the name Mystique.

[Demon Shinobi]

"Quite good." Deathstroke clapped slowly giving her a bit of praise. That wasn't usually something he gave, but of course it was necessary. "Now we'll need to steal a few components for a machine to bring the boy back. I'm sure it won't be a problem." He informed her. "The target will be S.T.A.R. Labs. Be ready. We'll head out as soon as night falls."

[Kitty]

"Yeah sure whatever." Hayley said before sitting down and stretching and working out a little bit before just sitting there waiting for night to fall so they could leave.

[Demon Shinobi]

Night soon came. Deathstroke had just finished his preparation and was getting into a large black vehicle. It was state of the art high tech, obviously stolen. "Mystique. Are you ready?" He wasn't only referring to the mission. There was a chance they'd run into members of the Justice League. They were going to steal some very important things after all. "Red Devil you'll remain here and monitor us. And more importantly monitor your sister. This is her first mission after all."

[Kitty]

"got it." Red Devil said.
Hayley walked up to Deathstroke as she out her mask on and looked at him with her purple orbs. She walked outside to the black motorcycle that she now had. "Let's get this done with." She said revving her motorcycle while waiting for him.

Deathstroke got in his assault vehicle of sorts. "Careful my young apprentice. An attitude like that is likely to get you punished." He said as he began to drive heading for S.T.A.R. Labs. "Just don't move in without my order." He spoke now using the communicator he'd given to her.

[Kitty]

"Understood." She said simply pulling her black hood over her blonde hair before driving off, her black motorcycle and outfit making her blend in completely with the dark night. Mystique drove to where she was suppose to be and she waited for orders to head in.

[Demon Shinobi]

"Alright." Deathstroke said as he came to a stop and exited the vehicle before approaching Mystique. "The majority of the components will be retrieved by me." He began calmly. "They reside in the east wing while the main piece resides in the west wing. You mission will be to retrieve that. It is a newly developed xinothium power cell." He said calmly before looking around. "More detail when the mission is complete. Don't get caught. And don't set off any alarms." He ordered her before moving out.

[Kitty]

Mystique nodded and used equipment to scale to the roof of the building, she then entered, making sure the bag and equipment to store the xinothium power cell was secured tightly on her back. She landed silently in a hallway and began to sneak through the building. She either avoided people working late or she would knock out any that came to close to her. She finally reached the well guarded area and made her way to the security room. In the security room Mystique knocked out and tied up the guards and began to hack the network to shut off all security systems surrounding the power cell.

[Demon Shinobi]

As Deathstroke quickly and efficiently did everything he needed to do he smirked under his mask. "What kind of test would this be if it went as smoothly as planned?" He asked as he gathered his components. With that he switched his comm channel to one private for him and Red Devil. "Red Devil. Set off the alarms in the West wing. I'll be taking my leave." He said calmly. If she could get back without being followed then he would have no reason to further doubt her ability.

[Kitty]

Red Devil smirked, "You got it." He said as he typed some code into the computer and the alarms in the west wing began to go off.

Mystique looked up as she alarms began to sound. "Shit." She said silently as she took off running. Mystique ran towards her goal, she made it past the security measures easily as she had already finished turning them off and she was skilled enough to knock out guards. Mystique made it to where the power cell was and she walked over to it. She opened the case and then took her bag off her back and opened it. She smiled as she picked up the cell with her gloved hand and placed it in her bag carefully. "No stupid alarms can stop me brother." She may not be right but Mystique had a feeling the alarms where part of the test of her loyalty to Deathstroke. With that she began to get ready to leave.

[Demon Shinobi]

Deathstroke chuckled. "She's skilled. I can't tell if it's my training or her natural ability." He complimented calmly as he watched the scene.

The alarm? S.T.A.R. labs? "Oh this is just what I need on my night of relaxation." Jason said as he flew off from his original resting spot. He was actually quite near the lab, but that wasn't important. He hovered above the entrance out of sight waiting to see who came out. He wondered. What was going on? Who could be stealing? It wasn't odd. This was Central City. And right now it's usual night time protector was out of business. Yeah. KF was usually up late. Bart never had to worry of course. But right now. Jason shook his head. "Who the hell is disturbing the peace?" He mumbled to himself quietly.
