[IC] Young Justice: New Beginnings

[Kitty]

"Hmm, what do you call confessing you care for me then kissing someone. Now don't Try and say I did the same thing. Blake kissed me and even if I had tried to move away he wouldn't have let me. Then when he tried again I stopped him but then you. You initiated the kiss between you and that girl. And wouldn't let me handle my own problem with my date. And now my chest has a strange feeling that I think has something to do with you but I have no idea what it is!" Hayley said quickly and she sighed at the end. "There. Now you can reply. Then I'll take my leave..." Hayley said looking straight at him.

[Demon Shinobi]

"Okay... Well... I... I didn't know you didn't kiss him back. I saw the kiss and I got really...." Nathaniel stopped himself. He didn't want to just openly say he was the type to get jealous. "I reacted to seeing you and Blake kiss and I kissed Cynthia who did just about everything but actually ask me to kiss her." He sighed. "But! I didn't feel right... So I told her that I was sorry and that I couldn't kiss her again or be anything more than friends because I..." He stopped again. "Because I already lo-uh-iked... Liked someone else." He said transition from one word to the next. He didn't think he should say the other one... He... Wasn't ready.

[Kitty]

"Oh..." Hayley said silently. "Wait were you about to say what I thought you were going to say." Hayley said smirking and walking closer to him. "Cause I feel the same way. Why do you think I was so jealous of you and the girl. I'm sorry for my jealousy." Hayley said pulling him into a kiss her arms now around his neck.

[Demon Shinobi]

Nathaniel's eyes went wide for a moment in surprise of Hayley kissing him, but soon kissed back. He closed his eyes and wrapped his arms around her waist. "Wait..." He finally said pulling away from the kiss. "So... Are we like... A thing now?" He asked a little unsure. "You know... A couple?"

[Kitty]

"What do you think kid idiot." Hayley said smiling before turning her head slightly towards where Blake and Cynthia were standing and staring at them dumbfounded... "So how do we explain this to them?" She asked laughing slightly.

[Demon Shinobi]

"Well... Technically I already explained to Cynthia that I liked someone else and stuff... Of course I did promise to go on a few more rides with her and take her home..." Nathaniel said calmly not really making eye contact with Hayley in case she got mad about that. "And honestly... That Blake dude is kind of an asshole. He doesn't really deserve an explanation." He added with a slight chuckle.

[Kitty]

"Ok. Well if you need me I'll be searching for an affordable apartment and a new school." Hayley mumbled everything after ok to herself hoping he wouldn't hear her. "See ya later Nate." Halley said turning and walking towards the exit. 'Thank The Lord he didn't comment on my girly outfit ugh I don't like this outfit at all.' Hayley thought to herself.

[Demon Shinobi]

"Hey wait..." Nathaniel laughed a little as he grabbed Hayley's hand. "Look." He said pointing to Cynthia and Blake who seemed to be hitting it off. He might have been a jerk, but apparently jerks and "good" girls went very well together. Especially when the girl could help the jerk get over being dumped and punched in the face. "Makes life easier for us. And now I can spend time with someone I really care about." He said with a smile. "Besides. It's not everyday i see you dressed like this." He commented with a smirk teasing her a bit. He hadn't heard the part about the apartment and new school though.

[Kitty]

"Tell anyone that I am wearing a skirt and you will not live to see another day." Hayley whispered into his ear before smirking and leaning away and began to walk. "So where to first?" Hayley asked running her fingers through her newly dyed red hair and pulled it into a high pony tail, the bangs from her Mystique hair cut falling into her face as she had lost the headband somewhere between rejecting Blake, punching Blake in the face, and storming off.

[Demon Shinobi]

"What? You look great in a skirt." Nathaniel said as he walked with her pulling her a bit closer to him as he wrapped his arm around her. "Still you sure you wanna spend our time here? Because if you'd rather head home and change I'm cool with that. I like you better when you're yourself anyway." He said before kissing her cheek.

[Kitty]

"Yeah my home.... How about we stay here. Or we can head back to the watchtower or the base, wait is the base even in use anymore?" Hayley asked curiously.

[Demon Shinobi]

"ummmm... Well... I died.... And you went rogue. Yeah i heard all about that." He looked at her for a moment and then sigh. "So... I guess it's just been waiting for us." He then said laughing a little. "Look... I just figured you would like to wear something a little more comfortable. If you want we can go to my house." He suggest leaving it to her to decide.

[Kitty]

"Ok, I'm going to be honest with you cause I care for you. I was kicked out of my school for missing to much and causing my grades to go down. And my apartment was sold to someone else... So unless I can permanently stay at the base and somehow I figure out away to pay for a decent education, I'm homeless and will be stupid when I'm older." Hayley said silently to him not making eye contact.

[Demon Shinobi]

Nathaniel nearly freaked out, but kept himself calm. "Alright so the base has tons of rooms not being used. So you can stay there or at my house if you want. You can go to Happy harbor High School or you can go to Keystone High School. Both public, both free and both pretty good for education. You'll have a lot of oppurtunities for college which we can work out later. For now it's important to focus on the problems at hand." He said coming up with a quick solution to the best of his ability. Now that he thought about it. he'd been gone for a while too. Of course, it was public school. he'd never been absent before and he had some days. He could catch up on all his stuff easily.

[Kitty]

"Not staying at your house idiot. I don't trust you that much, so I'll stay at the base and I honestly will just go to whichever one is easiest to get to. Seeing as that is solved. Wanna go to the base and watch a movie?" Hayley asked, thinking of something on the spot for them to do for the rest of the day.

[Demon Shinobi]

"Hey i had to try." Nate laughed a little. "Well since you'll be staying at the base which is located in Happy harbor it would be the easiest. Keystone high is my school and located in Central city." He added with a calm smile. He thought for a second. "Alright sure. Let's go."

[Kitty]

"Alright." Hayley said walking with him out of the theme park into the parking lot full of cars of all the people in the highschool. "So how did you get here??"

[Demon Shinobi]

"The magic of public transportation." Nathaniel said with a bit of a groan. He hated it. But he was only 15. Not like he could really drive or anything. Well... not legally anyway. "But since I'm leaving with you and not Cynthia. I figured I could just work a little Kid Flash magic and run us to the base.

[Kitty]

"Whatever you want Kid Idiot." Hayley said simply as she just stood there waiting for him to decide which way they should go.

[Demon Shinobi]

"Whatever." Nathaniel said before lifting her up. "Just hold on tight." He said as he looked around. Nobody. Good. And without wasting another minute he took off heading for the base.
