[IC] Young Justice: New Beginnings

[Kitty]

Hayley just muttered a string of curse words and paced around the ship. She then sat down angrily.

[Demon Shinobi]

Soon they were in the clear and landing in the base. "Alright. Let's go debrief..." Nate said standing up still holding his side. "And get in trouble for going against orders?" Rose asked as the team got off the ship. "We had a good reason," Jason commented.

[Kitty]

Hayley just stayed silent. She'd let the boys handle this one. (Sorry bad post I know0

Jason and Nathaniel went through the explanations. Still the team was chewed out for not at least getting back up or something. It was pretty annoying. "Still you all did good." Batman spoke as he came, seemingly out of nowhere and joined the group. "But next time try to stay on track. Now go to the med bay and patch yourselves up." He said as he and Rose went to go continue their talk after Nathaniel gave them a chip with the data he'd copied and then destroyed. Without anything else him and Jason started heading towards the med bay. "You coming?" He asked Hayley calmly.

[Kitty]

"Well seeing as I'm fine. I'm going to skip out on this one." Hayley said going and changing out of her uniform and into leggings and a sweatshirt before plopping onto the couch and watching tv. Her body sprawled out along the couch.

[Demon Shinobi]

It wasn't long before Nathaniel was in the living He was wearing shirts, but no shirt. He had bandages wrapped around his stomach and lower chest. "So. Looks like it was a mission success." He said with a smile. Jason had of course gone back to his room. To sleep and not be around the "couple" in his words.

[Kitty]

"If it includes you being an idiot and breaking ribs, then yes it was successful." Hayley said looking at him before looking back to the screen.

[Demon Shinobi]

Nathaniel sighed and knelt down by the couch. "Actually. Any mission that can be completed without death is a success. So yeah." He said calmly. "You still mad about me not letting you patch me up in the ship?" He then asked.

[Kitty]

"Nope, Just tired." Hayley said looking at him. "Although I'd much rather go on another mission than go to school. I miss being home-schooled a bit..." Hayley said sighing.

[Demon Shinobi]

Hearing her Nathaniel laughed a little bit. "Speaking of school. Don't you still have homework to finish?" He asked her while stifling a laugh.

[Kitty]

"remember I finished that when you helped me." Hayley said glaring at him playfully.

[Demon Shinobi]

"Just makin sure. I thought you had more than that." Nate replied before standing up again. "Well. Since you seem like you wanna be alone and it's getting a little late. I might as well go home." He said as he stretched a bit and then grabbed his side. "Ow... Still hurts a bit." He said chuckling lightly.

[Kitty]

"Well goodnight then Kid Idiot." Hayley said winking playfully at him with a light smile.

[Demon Shinobi]

"What? No goodbye kiss?" Nate asked as he leaned down a bit bringing himself face to face with Hayley.

[Kitty]

"You can put out your own effort here. I don't always have to give you the kiss, you can give me one too." Hayley said with an eyeroll while staring at him.

[Demon Shinobi]

"Well Can ya blame me? Most of the time I'm afraid of getting punched in the face." Nathaniel said before kissing Hayley softly on the lips.

[Kitty]

Hayley kissed him back and when they broke apart she faked a punch towards him and began laughing slightly. "As long as you don't catch me off guard too much. You should be fine. Anyways you have superspeed and would be able to get out of the way if I did." Hayley said

[Demon Shinobi]

"Yeah yeah, but still." Nathaniel laughed a bit before kissing Hayley again. When he pulled away from this kiss he smiled. "See ya tomorrow." He said before heading off to gather his things and leaving the base.

[Kitty]

Hayley soon fell asleep after he left just laying there on the couch. Deep in a dreamless sleep meant to refresh her mind and body.

[Demon Shinobi]

jason had finished his homework and went to sleep. And Nate went to sleep soon after getting home. The adults however, had some investigating to do. Therefore his parents wouldn't be home that night. Which would cause him to wake up multiple time out of worry. Or having nightmares. They worried for him. He worried for them. Goods and bads of being a family of heroes. Worrying sucked. But having someone to worry about you helped ease the mind. In a way.
