[IC] Young Justice: New Beginnings

[Kitty]

"Everyone I care about is gone. So why does it matter if I die. It's my own choice." Gretel said jerking her arm out of his grip and turning away from him, I'm doing what I need and want to do deal with it." She added before she started running away from him determined.

Red Devil stood on the opposite side of the roof, "kid flash remember the order." He said into a comm link that connects to the gauntlets.

[Demon Shinobi]

"Geez... i seriously can't believe your sister cares so much about a jerk like you." Kid Flash said back through the communicator. he couldn't just black this girl. she didn't seem evil. just angry. "hey stop already!" He reach out again this time for her hood.

(drama :P)

[Kitty]

When he grabbed her hood it fell off revealing her red hair in a french braid but she still had the mouth piece covering her mouth and had her back to him so he didn't see her react with wide eyes but then she got her composure back. "Let go of my hood." she said her voice still changed by the thing over her mouth.

[Demon Shinobi]

KF's Eyes widened. He only knew one person with hair like her's. He didn't want to believe it though. "You... Hayley?" He asked with his voice trembling a bit. "Tell me I'm dreaming... I mean... You're a hero right? Not... Not like your..." He stopped himself. He looked at Red Devil. That guy... Him and Deathstroke. They knew... They planned for him to really hurt Hayley. "That bastard..." He mumbled.

[Kitty]

"Why would you care, you helped so my brother could be kidnapped. I need to avenge my parents and now my brother. You would never understand how hard my life has been. I am only out to take out Deathstroke then I'll be done. Why does it matter to you anyways?" Hayley said not facing him, her voice emotionless.

[Demon Shinobi]

"Wow... You really think you've got it all figured out." Kid Flash said calmly. He sighed and held up his arm pointing to where Red Devil was. "You're brother is right over there. The one who told me to wait in your hallway. The one who told me to hurt you." KF told her just about everything. He was obviously hurt at what she'd just said to him. He really did care about her. But she didn't see that.

[Kitty]

"Yeah like my brother would be evil. I can't trust you anymore KF I've lost trust in everything. Just let me do what I need to please... I have to do this, if not for my brother who you think is alive then for my parents. They never did anything to anyone and were just randomly killed. What am I suppose to do with that? Just let it go? Just let the past be the past? Cause I hate to break it to you, but you truly know nothing about me and if you are right that I will die if I fight Deathstroke then you won't have to know. I'm prepared to die, isn't that what this superhero life is all about, being prepared to die for what you believe is right? I'm willing to sacrifice myself if it means I have a chance to save other lives from the hands of Deathstroke." Hayley said looking over her shoulder at him, "just let me do that please..." Hayley said as she turned and ran as fast as she could. She reached the side of the roof and jumped down to the fire escape and began running down it towards where she believed Deathstroke was.

[Demon Shinobi]

Kid Flash grit his teeth as "Gretel" left. "I guess I'll need some proof." He said angrily as he glared at Red Devil. Deathstroke was watching everything from a building a few rooftops away. "Things seem to be shaping up nicely. Perhaps he'll end both the brother and sister with this realization." He said thinking things would go a completely different way than they were going. "You!" Kid Flash shouted to Red Devil. "Right now. You and me. And don't try to escape."

[Kitty]

"Bring it idiot." Red Devil said pulling out his twin katanas and getting ready for a fight.

[Demon Shinobi]

Kid Flash growled lowly and charged at him. He leaped into the air and launched a flurry of multiple attacks at Red Devil at speeds so high that Red would most likely have to block and be unable to attack.

[Kitty]

Red Devil blocked the attacks with one sword and attempted an attack with his other sword not sure if he would actually be able to hit Kid Flash.

Gretel watched the fight, the moves of Red Devil were something she felt like she had seen before but she couldn't place it.

[Demon Shinobi]

Kid Flash grit his teeth managing to dodge the blade. "You're better than I thought." He said as he hopped back. "But." The speedster smirked and began to run around Red Devil at high speed. He continued to circle his opponent creating a miniature twister which would hopefully cause him to lift up off the ground giving KF a small advantage.

[Kitty]

Eventually the fight ended and Red Devil had been defeated.

Gretel just stood there with her arms crossed against her chest not knowing what to say or do.

[Demon Shinobi]

KF was kind of hurt. His uniform for Slade torn and a bit tattered. "Dammit..." He said panting as he grabbed Red Devil's mask. "Don't believe what I say... But you can't deny it if you see it with your own eyes." He spoke to Hayley in a calm tone as he removed the devil's mask.

[Kitty]

Hayley backed up tears forming in her eyes, "how could you.." she said to her brother as she fell to her knees. "I can't do this anymore... Mom and Dad wouldn't be happy Jay.... Why would you return to the evil side?" Hayley said staring at her brother.

[Demon Shinobi]

"Hayley... I'm sorry you had to find out like this, but..." He was interrupted by a loud sigh. "I'm disappointed Nathaniel." Deathstroke said calmly as he came up behind the group. "I would have hoped that I wouldn't have to do this." He said holding up the detonator.

[Kitty]

Hayley looked up, "NO!" She yelled shooting a bolt at his hand before running towards Deathstroke.

[Demon Shinobi]

Deathstroke chuckled and avoided the bolt fairly easily. "Poor little girl. A vain attempt to save my grandson." He said as he pressed the button. Nathaniel looked at himself with a worried and scared expression. "Wait! Hayley don't! Ru~" He couldn't finish. He exploded before he could.

[Kitty]

Hayley flew sideways from the blast slightly and hit her head. She looked around her vision blurry and head throbbing. She waited for it to pass the stood up and did her best to not fall over. Where KF had been standing was now just nothing but a scorch mark. "Kid.." Hayley said looking at it. "No...... Oh god no...." Hayley looked around and saw the fire the explosion had caused. The building would eventually collapse and Red Devil and Deathstroke were no where to be seen. Hayley pulled out a communicator and contacted the Justice League saying something drastic had just happened and that she needed to talk with them and Nate's parents now. They told her to come to the Watchtower so she left the building and entered a zeta beam, not caring about the fact she was in her villainess costume. When she arrived she waited outside a meeting room for the main justice league members.

[Demon Shinobi]

After the call was made Bart and Rose left their respective jobs, got changed and made their way to the hall. "Hayley? What are you doing wearing that?" The Flash questioned her quickly. "You know you shouldn't..." Rose stopped. "Let's head inside. This must be important and I'm sure you'll explain." She said noticing the young girl's sadness.
