[OOC] Jedi Bounty

In an alternate universe of Star Wars the clone wars are still raging on and jedi haven't been hit with Order 66. In fact the jedi have seized a whole lot of influence, some would say too much. Jedi Master Oabre Marvanaa, comparable in importance to Mace Windu in rank and power, is on a mission to wipe out the Separatist leader that could end the war once and for all and establish Jedi dominance. She and her talented padawan Nima Seturri have infiltrated the secret base on Dantooine, wiping out all of the defenses and nearing the thrown room when the master sensed a new threat had arrived. Bounty hunters have happened to reach them just in time. Their mission is simple; bring the head of Master Oabre and her padawan to Ord the Hutt, the powerful crime lord who hired them. For him this is both personal and highly profitable, especially if it will get the Separatists in his debt.

The battle will be mainly for cinematic purposes rather then desperately trying to destroy their opponent as quickly as possible. As such it would be nice if both sides allow a bit of leeway now and then if it will make things out to be a more exciting and dramatic battle. Therefore, we don't need to get super duper technically about everything. This may just be a one time battle so the characters don't have to be super detailed and fleshed out either, just given enough information to work off of. They can develop over time if we happen to like them. Because this is an alternate universe, whatever happens here doesn't have to be made canon anywhere else.

The position of two of the bounty hunters is already taken due to discussion on another thread, so it might not be a good idea for additional people to show up or else it would make things even more difficult. It depends on how weak they are, I suppose, but don't feel too badly if I decline them. If someone ends up not arriving then I will be happy to have someone else take their place. Or maybe you could be the Separatist Leader worriedly watching the battle from his/her view screen?

Without further adieu, here are the two jedi I will be playing as. There is no sheet for the bounty hunters, so make your own but be sure to include everything relevant to the battle.

Powers: She's very adept at sensing/reaction quickly to danger and forming her famous force shields. They can extend up to a radius of 8 feet and deflect bullets, rockets, laser, etc. Upon seeing it in action it's no wonder to anyone fighting her why she's such a high ranking jedi master. However, it does require her concentration to keep at full power and would tire her out eventually. Her talent with the lightsaber is slightly below average for a council member but she still shows a ton of skill and her faster speed and strength could still overcome most normal people. Her telekinesis is above average for a jedi council member. She can heal wounds at an accelerated pace, but this requires her most concentration.

Powers: She struggles with using the force at long distances such as shoving, so mainly uses it to enhance her aggressive lightsaber fighting abilities. This allows her to be extremely talented at close range confrontations, reacting and moving swiftly and able to use two lightsabers at once. She's able to twirl her lightsabers around at lightning speed to block dozens of blaster fire, but her sense of detecting danger isn't as good if she's not already aware of the threat, so may be taken off guard and brought down with only a couple shots.

Armor Capabilities:
Based heavily on the functionality of the Mark III Katarn-class Commando Armor, it shares many of the capabilities of its slightly older cousin, though still differs in several ways due to various personal modifications to the design. The most noticable of these modifications (apart from the cosmetic overhaul) is the inclusion of grav-plates on the outer thighs and back for the placement and holding of various weaponry (most commonly pistols and melee weapons). Further modification comes in the form of two foot-long vibroblades mounted in the armor's gauntlets that slide into an active position over the back of Bloodshot's hands, and stygian tri-prismatic plating for increased durability, allowing the armor to withstand even the blade of a lightsaber for several seconds before being compromised. Other additions include thermal and electromagnetic imaging systems, penetrating radar for identifying hostiles through walls, floors, and ceilings, and modifications to the life support system that allow it to deliver doses of the potent gas mixture utilized by the Umbaran military to increase reflexes and aggression. Beneath the armor's hardened plating lies a mesh body glove that is insulated against both thermal and electrical attacks, as well as being capable of stopping anything short of heavy blaster rounds or armor piercing slugs.

Abilities:
The legacy of the mercenary known as Bloodshot, a legacy that has passed through the hands of more than a dozen men, is more than simply the passing on of the armor and title. Through the use of ancient technology discovered on a long-dead planet, each successor to Bloodshot's legacy has not only received the wealth and possessions of his predecessors, but also the skills and memories they collected after assuming the title themselves. While this has given each successor a vast amount of experience and skills to draw from, it comes at the cost of their own memories, erasing everything prior to the time they first stepped into the machine. The current possessor of the title utilizes a combat style that favors pistols, blades, and staves of varying capabilities, with efficiency and speed taking precedence over the more showy techniques common to many of the galaxy's martial artists, including those favored by the jedi order. In addition to his mastery of firearms and melee combat, his Umbaran heritage also grants him a level of natural telepathic skill unrelated to the force-based talents of the jedi and sith. While this ability is less effective and versatile than that of jedi and sith that have dedicated their studies to developing the talent, it is nonetheless potent enough to give him the ability to read, subtly influence, and sometimes even control the will of others, in addition to granting him a high resistance to telepathic influence himself.

Appearance: Though Elomin are usually tall and thin folk, when this poor soul was infested with a Space Wraith he lost himself to its will. When the Wraith found food it couldn't help itself. With consumption habbits that would make a Hutt cringe he is incredibly heavyset for his biology. His horns are overgrown and his hair is matted and disgusting. The air around him smells of cheese and sweat.

Personality: Space Wraiths are unpredictable sorts, but Brush is a horrible being through and through. Having hopped from five bodies he's become accustomed to feeding into his bodily desires. He does things without regret, murdering people, forcing himself on women, eating without regard for personal health. He does it all, and with a smile on his face.

Equipment:
Various pieces of Plastoid Armor swindled from Clone Troopers: While they do not protect wholly against lightsabers they provide enough protection to prevent immediate loss of limbs. Two shoulder guards, the upper half of a chest piece, the wrist guards, and ankle guards. These are strapped onto him with pieces of leather made from the skin of some poor creature he killed. The leather shows no resistance to blaster fire or lightsabers.

CZ Wrist Mounted Flame Projector: You know that flamethrower Jango and Boba Fett used? It's one of those, he carries around 5 cannisters of fuel for it. Can blow sustained streams of flame for 30 seconds before running out.

LS-150 Heavy Accelerated Charged Particle Repeater Gun (Comb): She weighs 150 kilograms and fires 200 credit disintegrating plasma cartridges at ten thousand rounds per minute. It costs 400,000 credits to fire this weapon for twelve seconds. With three belts of ammunition running across his body he has 600 total rounds for this devastating metal monstrosity. It is heavy, unweildy, and can cut through regular men in only a few seconds.

Collapsable Stun Pole: This is obvious, a weapon he stole from some guard in his spare time. It's a meter long electrically charged vibro-weapon that he swings around without regard for the well being of anyone else. It's only ever used if he runs out of ammunition for Comb. It can withstand strikes from lightsabers and actually sever limbs if swing hard enough.

Notable Traits:
Surprising Strength: His fat body belies a terrifying secret, although he is fat and disgusting he does focus on his strength. He has to, it's part of his job to be strong. Bounties won't kill themselves. In a pinch he can beat down any soldier from any army, and that's no lie. His heavy hands prove useful tools in a hand to hand fight.

Oppressive Stink: The stench he has on his body isn't just because he's unkempt, one with an unfocused mind would be disgusted by it so much they could possibly vomit. In combat, vomiting is a horrible error. It leaves you entirely vulnerable.

What do you mean by the disintegrating plasma rounds? Does it just get through defense easier? Can lightsabers block it?

No, I mean. The rounds break apart in the barrel after firing, they disintegrate inside. It then fires the exposed plasma from the barrel.

And likely, the saber would block the shot but not reflect it. As it's accelerated particles, rather than energy.

Not like a shotgun, exactly like a bullet. It's flying so fast that it would take a few hundred yards before it started to spread.

Power/Abilities: Jaskan Voth is heavily specialized at light-saber combat. The Ataru form, to be specific. To this extent, every ounce of his force potential has been pushed into mastering this one style, to the extreme degree that he is able to pull of acrobatic moves of a level of finesse and grace others would deem impossible, especially for a man of his overweight stature and physical condition, by using the force to assist his every movement. He is highly proficient at wielding one, or two light-sabers, as well as the double edged one, and combines all three into a single modified way of fighting that consists of rapidly switching between them all. He is completely incapable of affecting the world around him with the force, as every moment of training has been focused on pushing his fighting potential to the limit. On the battlefield, he is a blur of swift strikes and flips that would put even Yoda to shame. His physique is far from perfect, however, and he tires out very quickly.
