...Mari is a completely superfluous character who didn't need to exist and is really only there so they can cram in more fanservice. But hey, I'm old and much prefer the original series to Rebuild, even if the first Rebuild was kind of cool.

Also Kaworu is the Fifth Child. In canon, at least. Dunno how things will turn out here.

No canon pilots, however, are present. With the exception of some potential stuff for later, and Rei. Rei entirely because of her origins.

Hmm... They are around and it might be helpful to have them... especially since I'm not sure how well I'd handle them. Hmm.

As for the pilot spot it's still up in the air for the moment and I'm trying to see if DBL actually dropped it or not.

Name: Katsuragi Misato
Age: 29
Gender: Female
Occupation: Operations Director at NERV
Appearance:

Katsuragi Misato

Personality: Initially, Misato can come off as bold and brash, but friendly. She is disorganized and has a bit of an alcohol problem. She is very serious when it comes to her work and will do anything to protect her pilots and her city, whether it follows protocol or not. At work, she is a strong leader and her orders are never taken lightly. Despite her strong outward appearance, she is emotionally damaged due to her experience with Second Impact and has significant trust issues. There are only a few people she ever opens up to, and even then it is rare. Misato is a character with a complex personality and psyche.
History: Misato was caught in the destruction wrought by Second Impact, losing her family and becoming gravely injured. In college she became friends with Akagi Ritsuko and Ryoji Kaji. Eventually she came to one of the highest positions at NERV.

But anyway, um, I obviously don't see any problems with Misato so she's accepted.

I'd recommend only sticking to one or two NERV personnel though, since there should be OC's and stuff there as well. I just think since the canon ones are around it's a godo idea to have people who can handle them doing so, since I'm worried I can't. ^^;

Occupation: Chief of Project E/Head Scientist at NERV

Akagi Ritsuko

Personality: Highly intelligent and dedicated to her work, Ritsuko is a serious and emotionally detached person. She has few friendships, her closest being with Misato. She feels like she is constantly forced to walk in her mother's footsteps and has an odd combination of hatred and respect for her. Her complicated relationship with her mother has greatly influenced her personality.
History: Ritsuko has always been attached to NERV, becoming a scientist just like her mother, Naoko. She attended college with Misato and Kaji and considers Misato her closest friend.
