/shrug That's part of the fun though, isn't it? Besides, his insane moe power levels are only one aspect of his personality; there's more to him than a cute face.

No, in all seriousness though, he keeps himself pretty clean, but he does still do his physical training routine so there's usually a sweaty tinge to him. Do I need something more specific?

EDIT: Actually sweat would be interesting, everyone kind of has their own sweat smell so like really the only time Haru would be able to find me is if I've been sweating up a storm. Like there'll be times where he's just like "the hell did he go?" then other times he'll be like "oh there he is..."

A lot of products tend to have a scent to them. Some people use wet wipes that smell like aloe vera, some people have deodorant that smells like baby powder (yeah, he has mistaken a person for a baby, once), some people wear flavored and scented lip gloss, some people just smell like sweat due to exercising, and others just smell lightly like flowers or dirt due to their hobby of gardening...everybody has a smell. It wouldn't be like this person became invisible if they took a long shower, more like they were reabsorbed into the mass of other people who are like scented due to their scent weakening. If they were in the same room and they put on a new perfume, they wouldn't have disappeared, but the scent change may make some association in his head reverse...take him more time to readjust.

Of course, this is just how I image these conditions to be, based on light/skimmed reading.

So hey, does anyone know any kind of color coding syntax I can use as I swap between English and Japanese with my character? Otherwise if its too hard to differentiate between the languages with my system feel free to speak up and give me a better idea.

There is no color coding, the Old Guild had it but they must've taken it out for some reason. I think bolding the text is a good idea though, it does make a difference between his American speech and Japanese.

Yea I figured something simple like bolding would help, but I wasn't sure if there was a color coding...maybe they'll bring it back at some point, the guild did fall its a miracle they could reformm it

Student: "Oh!? Maybe somebody is talking about you, somewhere...?"

Stars are aligned, and a one in a million sort of miracle occurs...!
Walking down the hall, Haruto sees a ___(random, player character, NPC teacher, etc.) and the right combination of clothing, colours, hairstyle, and voice makes recognition almost instantaneous. Seeing and recognising a person like this after such a long time...overcome with joy, and tearing up a little, Haru (in a fit of this joy, and unrestrained by the normal pain usually associated with such an act) picks up this individual and swings them around, before gripping them in a teary eyed and highly affectionate hug.
Haru: "I haven't recognised a random person like this in such a long time!" YuY <( <3 )
Person: "..." ._. <( . . . w t f . . . ? ! )
The next day, of course, Haru has to struggle to ever know if this person is a person. There are good days and there are bad days, Haru lives for the good ones.
