Tonight I Realized Something.

I was sitting there thinking about spam. And about my thread where I asked for thoughts on what to have for supper. And then I began to think "Hey, wouldn't it be kind of fun to let spam decide some ordinary day things." .... But then I started to think about what I'd have y'all decide. And no matter what I thought about, the results were always disastrous. And it was then that I realized. I can't trust you people with anything at all. Y'all would come up with something ridiculous or insane for almost anything, regardless of the insignificance seemingly attributed to the decision. I don't know if I should be horrified or impressed, though.

You should really watch the Derren Brown special, "The Gameshow", the second in "The Experiments" series of shows he did. Absolutely fantastic, really highlights a lot about people and how we interact, and essentially based on this premise. It was a fake gameshow, but the audience didn't know it was all set up - they were just told that they were allowed to vote for either good or bad things to happen to some random guy and shown the results through hidden cameras. It was exactly as disastrous as you think.
