For the sevens, there is only one treasure that is the prixe to be had. It is lies in One Piece. Many crews have formed and sailed, but so far none have reached their goals. But a new crew is about to find their fate is in the seas...

Wolfbane was looking around, cursing as three ships burned in the bay, all pirate ships. She was on a small boat, holding a wounded side and her eyes glowing brightly in the darkness. She hadn't meant to lose it like that. The captain had crossed a line...they were just kids after all. They hadn't done anything to him. Why did they have to die? Wolfbane may have been a pirate with just a boat that she had hidden to keep safe, but that didn't mean she didn't have a heart. Five kids were sitting in the boat, shaking from the cold but relief was on their faces. They looked at Wolfbane, almost glowing with joy that she was with them. But she knew she had gone to far. The navy would be there soon and she couldn't run. Not with these kids....no, she had no choice. At least they would be safe. Then she saw the white sail in the distence and she sighed. "Guess my time is up...."

Three months later

She hung from the wall, chains keeping her tight and unmoving as the cell door opened and a navel officer walked in. She looked terrible. Most of her bones were broken, her body brusied and bloody from her time in the prison. And when she was question by the not so nice marines who wanted answers. He looked her over and looked at the sailor standing guard. "Has she said anyhting?" The guard shook his head. "Not a word since they brought her in...I'm not sure why they bond her like that...she doesn't seem that much of a threat..." The officer walked over the the prisoner and said "She doesn't look like much of a threat...but she is. She took down three ships on her own before we finally caught her. She's to be excuted in the morning for her crimes..." The woman looked up at him, her purple eyes almost glowing in the bad light. "I doubt that...and my crimes were against the scum of the sea...those crews were blood thirsty killers" The officer nodded and said "Still...you are a threat to the seas...the risk can't be taken" He turned and left the cell, the guard locking it up after him. She looked down again and closed her eyes. She wasn't worried. She trusted that fate wasn't done with her yet. And she knew of some people who wanted her very much alive...

As the Marine officer in charge of the South Blue’s 35th Branch Base left the prison sections, there was a slight stir from some of the other cells in this block, each containing a single prisoner, whom had been roused awake in the evening, the last vestiges of sunlight filtering through the west facing windows. As they rolled over to go back to rest, or readjusted their lounging positions, it became quiet once again.

After a short while, the newest arrival, having just been chucked into his cell, sat leaning against his bars opposite of Wolfbane, his back facing her. Even from that position, it could be seen that he had shaggy, mid length orange hair covering the back of his head. He also seemed quite large, looking to be about eight feet tall when taking into account his legs, bent upward, the ankles shackled to his wrists.

As things became quiet, he stood, showing off his height in full, his shackles clattering as they bounced against the ground. Peeking over his shoulder at Wolfbane, a blue eye could be seen poking through his hair as he mused, “Man, they certainly haven’t been easy on you. What’re you in for?”

She flinched and looked up, coughing and spitting blood onto the floor. "Well...that would depend on what you call crime...I went after pirates...to find something that didn't belong to them...and they ticked me off...so I took them down...all three ships of them...saved the kids they were going to kill for kicks...and for all that...I get my butt kicked...beaten and get to hang on a wall till they feel like hanging me...so what are you.." She gasped, pain hitting her and she cursed softly.

The man was silent for a few moments, before he spoke, “Me? I pissed off the wrong guy. Stole something of his, but he got it back. Of course that just means I’m here to rot for a good, long while, but still...”

After another moment, he asked, “So, three ships, huh? You’ve gotta be pretty strong then. If you do get out of here, what would you do? Go back to fighting pirates? Become a Captain? Join a crew?”

Before Wolfbane could answer, the door opened, a Marine stepping in. Looking around on his patrol, he walked through, not giving any cell more than a glance. As he passed between Wolfbane and the tall, shackled man, a glint could briefly be seen at the soldier’s waist, though the man did not shift from his position.

When the Marine was gone, the man asked, “Well? If I got out of here, I’d probably want to become a pirate Captain. I mean, there’s so much of the world I haven’t seen, and a bunch of interesting treasures to be found. Seems like a dream, almost...”

Wolfbane watched the marine, trying not to flinch when he looked at her. Then when they were alone again she muttered "I would go get my ship...my father left it to me...and go find my crew that I had to leave behind...we split up when things got too hot...but I'm no captain...not after all that has happened...I just want to get out of here...away from these animals..." She coughed again, splitting blood onto the floor. "When they come back for me...just close your eyes...they just want to question me again and there's no reason to make things harder for you..."

After listening to the woman, the man muttered, “Nah, I won’t look away. I’d rather take care of them for you.” Before she could say anything, there was a clatter as the man’s shackles fell from his wrists, banging against the ground. The tall man crouched, a few clicks being heard as the lower part became undone. Twirling a ring of keys on his finger, he stopped the gyrations, before using it to open the door, his smile wide, his eyes covered by bangs as he stepped out of his cell. A tooth could be seen missing from his mouth as he got closer to Wolfbane’s cell door, unlocking it. He said, “I’m a pirate Captain. If you’re as strong as you say, you’ve got a place on my crew. What do you say?”

Noticing the movement, the other prisoners began to shuffle, one of them hissing, “Hey, I’ll join, let me out.”

The taller man sighed, “How many ships have you destroyed?”

“Fifteen!”

“A hundred!” Came another voice.

“Only twelve, but they were all battleships!” said a third.

Rolling his eyes, he muttered, “Oh hush.”
Elsewhere, in an office higher up in the base, the bearded Captain Muscovy sat at his desk, managing paperwork, his white Justice coat draped over his shoulders.

As he worked, a clean shaven man stepped in, the Captain looking up from his work and asking, “Yes? What is it, Lieutenant Commander?”

The second in command, Lieutenant Commander Barbary, had a worried look on his face as he began, “Er, about that prisoner...”

Muscovy raised an eyebrow, thinking of Wolfbane. Her torture had been severe, but some of the men she taken down were rather sensitive individuals, pirates who’d committed theft of some rather important items, which were believed lost, except for what the woman might have known. Of course, it had been far too long, and she was set to be executed. Hoping for good news, Muscovy asked, “Well? Had she said anything?”

Barbary shook his head, beginning, “Er, no, it’s not her. It’s the one across from her, actually, who got brought here the other day, from Cannis Island?”

Muscovy nodded, “Yes, I recall now. He stole a Devil Fruit, but it was returned.”

Barbary swallowed, “Er, well, Count Adomas claims that his guard captain who took a bite didn’t get any power from it.”

Muscovy snorted, “So it was a fake?”

“A closer inspection of the Fruit found that a piece had been cut out, and then replaced. The problem is that the piece removed is too small for the gap. The skin fits perfectly, but there’s a pocket of air where some of the Fruit is missing, so...” Barbary explained.

As he trailed off, Muscovy realized the implication, jumping from his seat as he realized, “Ivorio Fontaine is a Fruit user!?”
Stepping away from the now freed Wolfbane, the tall man asked with a smile, “Can you move? What’s your name? By the way, I’m Ivorio Fontaine, but you can call me Ivor.”

Wolfbane grabbed the wall, fighting to stay up right as she looked at him. "Margaret Wolfbane. you can call me Wolf...I think I can move but it won't be very fast. One of my legs is broken but I'll mange" when the other men tried to be let go she turned and her eyes glowed bright in the darkness. They all shut up and she pushed her messy brown hair out of her face and looked at him. "I'm in Ivor. You get me out of here...I'm in" she coughed again, spitting more blood from her mouth. "Dang it. That last guy pushed it a little far just to get information" she tried to walk but her leg buckled in pain and she grabbed one of the chains to stay up right, cursing in pain

With no need for the keys, Ivorio tossed them aside, and they landed just barely within arm’s reach of one of the occupied cells. Ivorio raised an arm, offering his shoulder if need be, before heading off, with Wolf in tow.

The man’s mind racing, he rambled, “Okay, you got a ship, but the Marines probably got your ship, so they probably put it with their ships, in case they needed to...you know, ship, or something.” Looking around the halls, he mumbled, “I guess it’s this way?”

Going down a hallway, he pulled opened a door as he muttered, “Doesn’t really matter, we’ll find it eventually.” As the door creaked open, a sizable number of Marine soldiers could be seen in the armory, gearing up. At the noise from the door, they looked up, locking eyes with Ivorio and Margret in their black and white prison garb. The tall man swiftly closed the door, saying quickly, “Not that way.”

A focused look on his face, Ivor acted quickly, dropping his hands. As they fell, something seemed to come from his wrists: a pair of thick, metal hooks, attached to a sturdy looking black rope. Ivor swung his hands, one hook embedding itself into the wall above the corner of the door, and the other digging into the side crack of the door. Stretching his arms, the black rope seemed to grow from his hand, before each of them ended in another hook, which Ivor promptly dug into the opposite side of the wall, the two ropes crossing over the door. He wasn’t a moment too soon: the Marines on the other side attempted to push the door open, but the one way portal strained against the hooks and ropes. However, the hooks could only dig so far into the wood around the door: it wouldn’t hold for too long.

Ivor led Margaret away, getting some distance as he asked, “Can you fight? I mean, we should be fine, but..."

Margaret used his shoulder to keep upright, staying close by him as they made their way through the base. When he asked if she could fight she nodded and said "I can for a little bit...depending on how much energy I was able to store up...and I do have a ship..but I doubt the navy has it. It wasn't with me when they caught me" they reached a door and Wolf opened it to find the courtyard and she said "I know this...I was taken through here before....the docks are on the other side here. We just have too..." Then an alarm started to go off and she sighed. "So much for not having to fight..."

As the alarm sounded, Ivorio shrugged, noting, “It’s fine, we’re almost there anyway.” Reaching the door, he muttered, “Wish I had my clothes, but whatever...” Stopping by the door, he said, “You hang back for a sec and get a breather, I’ll clear the way a little, just in case. I’ll call for you in a bit.”

Satisfied that he was clear, Ivorio kicked open the door, ducking as he went in, stepping into the harbor. It was partially open to the outside, the ceiling high above where more of the base was. Wooden flooring was split throughout several levels, a number of paths leading to the docks, where about a dozen ships of various sizes were stationed, including one scary looking battleship. Scanning the area, Ivorio saw Marine soldiers scrambling about as the alarm blared, readying themselves for battle. In the opening to the sheltered harbor, Ivorio could see the ocean’s expanse, lit by the orange light of dusk. Glancing over the ships, he spotted a couple that were without a doubt, non-Marine vessels, but even the smallest of them seemed a little large for only two sailors, which complicated things. Hoping Margaret would know a few tricks, Ivor was about to call to her, when a pair of Marines shouted from a little down the path next to him, “Hey! There’s a prisoner up here!”

As the two awaited reinforcements, they drew their blades, looking at the tall, imposing, orange haired pirate hard. Ivorio grinned as they glance to the door he’d come from, as being wary he might flee for it. Deciding to give Margaret a little more time, Ivorio instead went forwards, hopping over the railing with little trouble, landing in the midst of almost half a dozen soldiers, who recoiled in shock as he suddenly entered their range. With a grin, Ivor sprouted two hooks from his palms, spinning in his spot as he flung them outward. The two tendrils whipped out, snagging two unsuspecting Marines by their white, sleeveless uniform shirts, and they were dragged into the air. Ivorio stopped suddenly, one Marine crashing into one who’d been drawing his blade, and the other falling below as Ivor hissed, “Hook Hook Pitch.” Freed from their burdens, the hooks continued their momentum, being stopped as they wrapped around Ivor’s shoulders for a second, before being reeled back in.

One Marine gasped, “W-what the hell? He’s a User?”

Ivor smirked, “Oh yeah, guess I forgot to say something, huh? I ate the Hook Hook Fruit, so I suppose that makes me a Hook human.” Figuring resistance wasn’t too bad, Ivorio looked up at the upper level, calling, “Which one of these is yours?”

Wolf made her way down, then stopped part way down the stairs when marines started headed towards her. She looked around and felt the wind blow thru her hair. She smiled, feeling the energy of the wind fill her. She opened her eyes, her eyes changing to white blue and she raised her hands. She ran forward and pushed forward with her hands, the pulse of energy shooting through her hands and sending the men flying. She landed by Ivor, breathing hard and holding her side. "None of those...when they found me I was on a life boat. But I'm sure the navy won't mind us borrowing one"

They heard cries behind them and Wolf turned, seeing more soldiers heading towards them. Wolf looked around then said "I have an idea...but I need a match"

Nodding, Ivor led the way, moving closer to the docks. Looking over the ships, he noted, “That one with the pirate sails seems smallest, but I don’t think we can use it. But yeah, a lifeboat from one of the bigger ones seems doable...” Looking around, continuing to lash out with his hooks if need be, he figured charging the battleship wasn’t a good idea, so grabbing a lifeboat off one of the smaller ones seemed to be he plan. However, even if they did get out on the lifeboat, they were still Fruit users risking an ocean without even a drop of water. They wouldn’t be able to go far.

As they reached the ground level, Ivor threw out a hook, snagging a rifle from the hands of one Marine, pulling it by the trigger guard. Looking at it, he said, “Hey, this is a flintlock rifle, so I think if you took off this cover somehow, you could make sparks. What’s the plan?” Before Margaret could answer, a bullet whizzed dangerously close. Grumbling, Ivor grew a hook from his wrist, one much larger than the others. It took several seconds to form, and needed some helping along in the form of Ivor pulling it out. Once it was free, he began to swing it over his head, suggesting, “I’ll cover you.”

Wolfbane nodded and took the rifle, firing it close enough to make sparks. She got the sparks to land on some stacked wood and soon it caught fire. She tossed the gun and blew on the fire to make it bigger, soon the small fire and huge blaze. Marines started running around to get water but they wouldn't need it. She turned to Ivor and said "get ready to run....as soon as I start there won't be anyone on those ships. Get us a good boat that can get us out of here" then she turned to the fire and close her eyes. She lifted her hands and muttered "fire light" she opened her eyes and they were glowing bright good as the fire suddenly burst high then started to move, wrapping around the woman and turn into just light, then it would flow into her skin.

After a few minutes the blaze was gone and Wolfbane was sweating and breathing hard, her eyes bright and sparkling. She turned to the men facing them and smiled. "Fire dance..." She threw out her hands and a force like a wolf fire shot out, the heat burning and melting anything close. She moved forward, holding the men off as Ivor headed towards the ship, praying he would be fast. She couldn't keep this up for long

As Margaret kept the heat off of them (figuratively), Ivorio rushed off to the boats. There were a few stragglers, which Ivorio quickly dispatched with the toss of a few hooks. Finally reaching one of the middling sized ships, he found it mostly abandoned. Tearing across the deck, he found a lifeboat at the edge. Moving as quick as he could, he stopped by the boat, holding up his fingers. Small hooks began to sprout from his fingertips, but didn’t extend outside of his skin more than the point. When all of his fingers were crowned in the sharp points, he used his fingers to slash at the ropes, muttering, “Hook Hook Talons!” As the lifeboat crashed to the water below, he hopped down, chortling to himself, "No one heard that you dumbass.”

Finding an oar underneath the seats, he took the spot at the back of the boat and paddled into the open. Calling out to the docks, he said, “Hey, Wolfbane! Get your butt over here we’re leaving!”

On the opposite side of the base’s dock, on a higher platform, the bearded Captain Muscovy stepped out, overlooking the area, spotting the chaos on the other side. He grumbled, “Two Fruit users...they’re quite strong. At this rate they’ll escape but...they can’t go far.” Waving his hand, he ordered, “Order the nearest gunner squads to aim for that boat! If they escape, have some other squadrons blanket the coasts. I don’t want so much as a piece of driftwood to land without me knowing!” As his orders were relayed, he began to make his way slowly, but surely, to the opening of the harbor. He hadn’t paid much attention to Ivor, so he wanted a good look at his two escapees...

Wolfbane heard Ivor and nodded, sending one more blast before running for the water edge. She did the math in her head to make the jump and jumped off the dock, landing in the boat just as she heard the guns go off. Without thinking she turned and threw her hands up, her eyes changing back to the light blue and saying "wind breaker!" There was a huge burst of wind from her hands that knocked the cannon and lead balls off course, sending them around them into the water. Then she aimed her hands at the water behind the boat and said "gust shot" and they were pushed forward in the water, her wind being the engine for them.

When finally the smoke from the shots cleared they were gone from sight. The navy captain were heard heels behind him and a female say "she's long gone, commander. I highly doubt you'll find her in this chaos" the woman was a tall thin creature with raven black hair and bright blue eyes. She wore a navy jacket over a white dress, her eyes on the captain.

After an hour or two from shore Wolfbane stopped the gust shoots, breathing hard and sweating. Now they were out in the open under the sky light Ivor could get a good look at her. She had mid length hair that rested on her shoulders, auburn curly hair. She was slightly short but strongly fit, her sun kissed skin covered in bruises and wounds and scars. Her eye faded back to their green hazel color and she swayed on her feet. She had pushed herself too far. Her weakness and illness was catching up with her along with her wounds and the pain left over by the beatings she had had the past few months. She panted, the world spinning as she turned and looked at Ivor. "Well....we did it....barely but we pulled it off....captain..." Her legs buckled, wolf trying to stop herself from falling over but failed as her sight blurred on her again

As the small rowboat left the harbor, Ivor piloted it, taking it out into the open sea. As he made his way away from the base, he got a look at the surrounding area. The base seemed to be on a plateau at the edge of Lebara Island, which was rocky, having a number of cliffs and rock formations supporting the town, dark spots underneath warning of dangerous caves. As he maneuvered away, he took in a few landmarks, figuring it might be best for things to cool down before they tried to make land, but as the sun sank, he headed away from the island, and any pursuit, for now.

As they drifted in the sea, the island being little more than a dot in the distance, lit up by the town on its mass, Ivor looked up as Margaret touted their accomplishment. As she finished, she began to fall, and Ivorio hopped up, grabbing her by the arm and setting her down safely. They couldn’t stay like this, he soon realized: it was too dangerous. Neither of them could swim, and Margaret could barely even move.

Steeling himself, Ivor began to row back to the island: they needed some form of help in one way or another. He was hoping to spend the night out here, but it was far too risky, they needed land, and the only option was Lebara. Turning back to Margaret as he rowed, Ivorio asked, “How do you think you’re gonna be able to hold up? I don’t know if finding help will be so easy.”

Wolf shook her head and said "we can't go back now...I can last a little while out here...hopefully till it's safe to go back into..." She coughed hard, blood hitting her hand and she cursed. "Or not. Wait....I know a place we can go. It's where I was hiding out before I went after those ships. It's on the other side of the island..." She tried to get up to use her gust shot again.

As Margaret tried to get up, Ivor reached one of his long hands out, pushing her down from the top of her head, nodding, “Yeah, no. Rest already, you aren’t going to heal that way.” Readjusting the grip on his oar, he said, “Besides, the slower we go, the more likely they’ll get lax...”

Giving his arms a workout, Ivorio maneuver his way back to the island, the sky getting darker as he moved. On one hand, it was going to be harder for them to get spotted, but on the other, if there was a rock or something near the shore, spotting it wasn’t going to be easy. However, as they got closer to the island, Ivorio could see dots of light around the coast: no doubt Marines still on the lookout for them. Ivor grinned as he used their light to move around the coastline without needing to worry about hitting it. Between their light and the star and moonlight up above, partially covered by clouds, they were capable of getting around just fine. The cliffs were easy to spot too: they weren’t being patrolled, but their silhouettes against the night sky were plain. Ivor didn’t want to risk climbing them in the darkness though: getting up with Margaret would be risky, and getting up himself risked bringing boulders down atop them.

As they got closer to the area indicated by Margaret, Ivor couldn’t help but notice that there were Marines there too: perhaps in taking so long, he’d given the soldiers a chance to spread out. It was definitely a mistake on his part. As he watched the shore, considering a fight, he failed to notice something moving in the darkness behind their little rowboat, a large silhouette slowly moving towards a nearby, untouched cliff side.

Wolf was shaking by this point, beads of sweat running down her face. But her powers gave her a high sense of those living things around her, which this sense made her look behind them and sense something there. She tried to move, her body yelling in protest as she tapped Ivor on the shoulder and nodded to behind them. "We...have a tail...I can sense it...even with my eyes not working too well..."

At Margaret’s words, Ivor was broken from his thoughts, looking around. Sure enough, the black mass sailed quietly behind them, seemingly unaware of their presence. It was definitely a ship, but one sailing about in the blackness like this was a bit unusual, especially without any lights. It was trying to hide...but why? It certainly wouldn’t be able to dock without running into trouble with the ruckus that Ivorio and Margaret had started up.

Moving the little rowboat aside, he tried to guess where the edge of the ship was, before tossing out a hook, which latched onto the back edge of the boat with a thump. Ivor held his breath, waiting for the possibility of someone noticing, but there was only silence. Eventually, the rope connecting the hook and Ivor’s body became taught, and the rowboat began to be dragged along by the other vessel. Ivor lowered himself, bracing between the boats seats so that he could properly anchor the vessel as it was dragged along.

Ivor motioned for Margaret to keep silent as they went along, being dragged by the larger boat. It seemed to be ignoring the patrolled shores, instead heading directly to a cliff side. Ivor couldn’t get a look due to both the ship in the way and the darkness, but as the ship got closer, he began to get worried. However, the boat didn’t collide with any rock: rather, it went through one of the arches in the stone, going underneath the rocky island. It wasn’t dark for much longer, when the ship lit some lanterns to guide their way in the caverns. The rocky tunnels had a number of alternate paths, which could no doubt lead to dead ends, or inescapable wave pools, so Ivor prayed that they wouldn’t be noticed until they were in a safe place. Turning to Margaret, he asked quietly, "Any ideas as to what's down here?"
