Testing the waters for a mech roleplay I've tried a couple of times on here.
Essentially, two worlds have collided through a spacial rift and are now floating pieces of earth around two fused metal spheres. There is a war between two major groups, the Arlanian Empire, largely comprised of people from one side of the rift, and the UN, comprised of what is a futuristic Earth. Both sides use mechs called Kensai.
There is small amounts of magic in this as well, some that can even be used in tandem with your mech.
The UN's major goal is to eliminate or control the remnants of magic still in the world, since it is very dangerous in the wrong hands. The AE disagrees with this and is fighting that control.
