Meanwhile the man in the hat's time had come. Letting out a good old fashioned "TOOOOOOOOOOOOH!" his hand seemingly flicking the sword up and down as he charged at the pack of the three angels. Who had their defenses left wide open after being exposed to Defendia's barrage of shields. http://orokos.com/roll/209075. Sliding into a cool pose as he did a ridiculously slow sheathing he turned his back to the angels. The first one simply crumpled to the ground while the other two flailed around sort of helplessly before exploding spectacularly.

M-23 grabbed the first angel's ankle while it was distracted and slammed it into the pavement (12), the statue-robot-whatever's body exploding from the sheer force of the blow, leaving nothing but some pottery shards and unrecognizable slag.

Jack was a bit miffed that he'd missed one of the angels, but hey, them other dudes seemed to be handling the fighting pretty well, so it wasn't a big deal. He was still pitching in, his contribution was valuable. Especially when two of the statues took to the sky and he realized most of his allies seemed focused on melee. Well, not him, he had throwing knives handy and knew how to use them. Quite well, in fact. That miss had been a fluke. "That miss was a fluuuuuuuuuke!" he yelled as he threw another pair of knives at the airborne threats.

The angel that had the knife tossed at it first managed to effortlessly dodge the attack. The other one got hit very hard as the knife managed to lodge itself into one of its unearthly glowing eyes and causing it to self destruct into fiery rubble. defense. Defendia looked at the all damage everyone has done to the statues so far. "THIS is what they tried to attack us with? Such statues wouldn't even be worthy of being in my servant's yard!"

She looked up to the sky, particularly where the statue still in the sky was, and put her hand near her mouth. "OHOHOHOHOHOHO!"(6, has a 4 DT)

The angel was affected by her laugh just a bit and it could be visibly seen shaking in disgust at either her or its own shock in being damaged by a laugh. The sixth angel which stood there unscathed by all the violence decided to get closer and fire at the man in the hat. pew pew The man who had seen the angel turning to face him readied his blade and charged. A flash of light and plume of fire and smoke from where the laser had hit the spot. The man sheathed his sword as the angel slowly fell apart and exploded. "Remember this," he said calmly, "Sometimes the best defense is offense!" C-C-C-COMBO BREAKER

After having crushed the other statue, he wiped the dust off his body, pointing to another statue and laughing at it. As it opened fire, Wrasslin did a backwards somersault out of the way, showing off his amazing athleticism. "Haha!" he boasted. "You are no match for me!"

Freya noticed one angel forming into some sort of strange structure with pulsating lights. She immediately took this as a sign that it was about to do something that would do some major damage if she didn't act quickly. Freya yanked her free arm outwards, manipulating the armor puppet to stand between her and the angel statue. The puppet stabbed the Greatsword into the ground (technically through the roof of a building), and acted as a shield to protect Freya.

Hiraku was struck back by the first Angel's attack, as he slid across the the pavement of the city. Hiraku was breathing in and out, as his torso was covered in blood, and his suit was torn apart, but his tie managed to survive the impact. (14 damage taken). My suit.. My... Hiraku paused in his thoughts as he saw enough Angel hovering near him. Hiraku slowly took off the remnants of the top part of his suit, as he held them in his free hand for a dramatic period of time, before dropping them. He slowly took off his glasses as he placed them in his pants pockets. He is not worthy of the transformation sequence... This is all this creature will get. The creature fired a large magical beam at him, as he tied his tie around his briefcase. Luck was on his side, as he held onto his briefcase firmly. Oh yes. Luck. Luck was on his side. Hiraku swung his briefcase to smack the beam right towards the Angel. Hiraku flexed his muscles, "GWAAAAAAAAAAH! I SHALL SHOW YOU THE TRUE WRATH OF A SALARYMAN!" Hiraku lunged towards the Angel, using the briefcase, with his attached tie as a strange salaryman whip. Hiraku swung the briefcase to strike the Angel in the face first, then to the lower legs. Hiraku glared as he then moved the tie around the Angel's neck as he jumped up with the briefcase, and slammed the angel into the ground.

Hiraku glanced around, "WHO IS NEXT!? I AM COMING FOR YOU!"

M-23 dashed forward, clotheslining (8) the fourth angel as it rushed past Hiraku. M-23 took care not to break it too badly this time.

"No. You know what? I'm done. Screw throwing knives". Jack had already produced another pair of throwing knives, but instead stowed them away and pulled out his trench spike, a mean piece of work with a spiked knuckle duster guard and a long pointy blade designed specifically to shank people. And he was gonna shank himself a statue. Dashing towards the closest statue while wielding the knife, he screamed out "SEE THIS? I'M GONNA SHANK YOU WITH IT!" as he aimed for one of the statue's eyes, looking to get the blade in there deep then pry the thing off. He was going to be quite upset if it didn't work out.

The shanking did indeed work as not only did he hit the hapless angel but also lodged it in of its eyes. The damage caused by the combination of his momentum and knife not only lodged it deep. But it also seemingly destroyed the angel as the whirr of its fan wings went silent as it died.

Finished with her beautiful laughing, Defendia pointed at statue #10. "You're next!" She put her hands side by side and fired a singular shield at the statue.

The angel not only got hit by the shield but it also hit it in such a fashion as to crumble its stony body and sent it scraping along the ground. d-fence[Knockdown inflicted]

There was one left. Quickly Wrasslin flexed, excited that he'd be the one to end everything. Quickly, Wrasslin ran to the final angel statue. "IT IS TIME, YOU STONEY FIEND!" he pointed at it and boasted. Wrasslin puffed out his chest, then jumped upward, attempting to grab it, and crush its wings with his mighty grip.

The angel didn't stand a chance as the elf's massive strength brought an end to its pitiful attempt to escape. With nothing but stony shards littering the floor it seemed like this small group had achieved victory. However the rest of the city was still in chaos as flames were everyone along with other people valiantly attempting to fight more of these things in the distance.

The high priestess Kael could only watch on in horror as the city was being destroyed. It was as if the gods that day abandoned them or even worse. That they had angered them somehow and this was a form of divine retribution. From the heavens aboard of some sort of odd mechanically flying squid rode a man in grey kinda spiky yet smooth armor. His voice rang out to all in a deep booming authoritative manner, "You have managed to fight some of Steinwaffen well, but you shall not last. Priestess of Celes hand over the Tears of Vaily and-"

The man was cut off by the priestess, "The Temple of Celara will never hand out such an artifact to the likes of you!"

"Well see I was planning on calling off the attack," he said to her smugly, "But now it seems we're just going to have excavate to your holy catacombs and take it be force. However there's something I must do first." Hovering over to the group on his squid thing he then approached the Elf. "I see you are quite skilled in the arts of hoisting, however you seemed to work up quite a sweat though. Don't you know cardio... kills gainz?" He smiled wickedly as he palm blasted him with the most foulest of energies. His Brotons being sucked out and replaced with DYELectrons and his gainz slowly shrank until he was half as swole as he used to be.

Flying away with a ball of his holy gainz energy he then flew away as he whistled. The skies seemed to clear of the flying menaces but only for a bit. A horde of the stone angels then began to congregate over the city street as they became a massive shapeless blob. Which then reshaped itself into a stony robotic spider monster with twelve glowing soulless eyes and a pair of large drills came out of its head. Accompanying the spider was five more angels that seemed to be acting as meat shields.

Hiraku held onto his briefcase firmly as he stared at the horde of stone angels fly and proceed to form themselves into a robotic monster of some sort. Hiraku smiled a bit, "Well, maybe my son will accidentally show up here and fight the blasted thing. Looks similar to the creatures he always talks about." Hiraku rolled his neck around, and confirmed his briefcase was ready. Hiraku was prepared.
