Vick
Aeternus || Mystic Forest

Vick had got caught up and was pleasantly surprised with the relatively warm greeting. He had followed along, not saying much as the group moved on to their goal, which he recently discovered was killing a group of wolves. He nodded to Ares as he was given his instructions, he was nervous about actually going into combat, the danger he sensed was far too real now. Vick looked attentive to each face in the party, he had yet to send friend requests to them all, and doing it right then and there would seem a bit distracting, so he waited, either way each of them was a person he needed to get close to, they were each an ally now, and he wanted to know them than more then that. He took his attention away, looking out to the forest, wondering how much help he could actually manage to be. Most of his abilities were out of his control, but he would do his damn best to be useful. Perhaps he should buff them now? It would help...Prince? Aggro the enemies more safely. "Uhm, Prince?" he went towards the red hatted man, feeling a bit nervous talking to them. "I could try buffing you first, may help..." He asked this more then offered it, not wanting to seem pretentious, he wasn't even sure in what order to do things. "If you like..." He added in a murmur. He fixed his glasses and felt the coin in his pocket, he would need it soon enough.

Prince
Aeternus ll Mystic Forest

As the Dark Knight nodded his agreement to the large party, he jumped off the wall and walked off towards the forest, moving deeper within it. Prince chuckled as he lept after him, landing neatly on his feet as he followed the party leader.

"Man don't be a downer! We will survive! Positive attitudes are positive!" the red haired man chuckled, tucking his furry companion back under his hat as he walked in smooth strides to keep up with Ares.

Navigating through the forest was a easy feet for the one eyed man, being nimble and agile as he practically skipped along. Occasionally turning in a circle as he walked to look at his surroundings. When Ares gave the instructions, Prince gave a confident grin and held up his right hand in a thumbs up motion.

"Gotcha! No worries I'll have them here in a jiffy!" he replied gleefully before blinking his teal eye to the newest arrival, Vick apparently, walk timidly over to him and ask if the tall fluffy eared man needed buffs before throwing himself at a pack of wolves.

Rubbing his chin between his right index finger and thumb as he thoughtfully considered this, he dropped his hand and merely gave a smile to the tall black haired boy.

"Thank you kindly for the offer, but save your SP for Vally and Lils over there and Sir Boss when he's getting battered. They are the ones going to take most of the hits. Me I'll be dodging and distracting mostly. Keep our front liners safe and cozy eh cutie?" Prince grinned, patting the glasses wearing man on the head, his fingers lightly ruffling the black hair like a comforting brother before smirking as he smoothly took a hand and placed a kiss on the back of it before jogging off with a carefree laugh.

"Be right back stunning adventurers!" Prince chirped to them all before jetting off deeper into the woods, his speed almost like a jackrabbit on coffee.

It wasn't long until he came upon the pack of wolves, lying about lazily though they instantly stood as hey saw him. Her dark black fur almost blending in with their dark surroundings, but their glowing golden eyes were clear as day. Coming to a halt as he stood before the wolves, he grinned and tipped his hat.

"Well greetings my fine furry friends! A fine day isn't it? The sun probably shining above those trees, the smell of the sweet calming forest, the sound of hungry growls ready to devour wandering adventurers... Yep perfect day for a stroll!" chuckled the bare chested man, watching as the large number of wolves growled, taking a step towards him.

Giving a playful pout at the sight of aggressive animals before he took a deep breath, cleared his throat before speaking in a French accent. "I don't want to talk to you no more, you empty-headed animal food trough wiper! I fart in your general direction! Your mother was a hamster and your father smelt of elderberries!" he spoke clearly as he shook his tail at them and stuck out his tongue.

Snarls erupted from the beasts throats and the buccaneer gave a innocent grin. "Not Monty Python fans I take it?" he chuckled as he started backing up as the pack's approach was now coming closer. "Laters! Meow!" Prince grinned before sprinting back towards the others as the wolves suddenly charged him.

Luckily, Prince kept out of their reach mostly, dodging a few that managed to keep up enough to snap at him. For him, it would only take around four solid hits before he went down, Buccaneer was a great class to have who knew how to use it but it was a hard and risky class to be. Good thing he's quite good at it.

Soon the others came into sight as he bursts out of the darkness made up of the cluster of trees.

"Wolves incoming!" he warned as he pivoted around when he reached beside the others on the forefront, his hands smoothly unsheathing the blades at his hips as their opponents burst out of the woods with angry snarls.

As danger threatened the death of him, Prince was practically dancing as he dodged attacks from wolves. He spun left, avoiding a lunging wolf as it attempted to maul him, before he quickly had to jump and duck away from other vicious swipes. He was constantly moving, leaving little room for a breather, his swords danced when he found a opening, the blades striking in silver streaks, too fast for the naked eye to see the actual blade.

His attacks alone would take some time to actually kill a wolf with so many jumping about, but he could at least do some damage as he dodged about to avoid a quick death.

Lilith
Aeternus || Mystic Forest

"Lilith, as you can clearly see. Nice to meet you Prince." Rose said with a small smile, surprised that someone would call her a beauty without her trying to seduce him although most of her just wanted to use her claws to rip him to shreds. Her eyes rolled as she saw the boy from before, Sir Valentine, the blade dancer as he said he was. She was a bit impressed, but she didn't let it show one bit. "Sir, what else can you do besides dance with two swords accompanying you? Sing and drink a little? Or can you just dance?" Lilith asked, smirking as she looked at the multitude of people joining their group. Lilith's teeth clenched tightly as she looked at her enemy, the girl who had always been mean to Hunter. "You......." Lilith said, her blonde hair slowly starting to catch on fire, the rain hissing as it hit it, but in no means put it out.

"Your that Stella girl from across the street! The one who was always mean to my best friend! You dirty little bit- you know what, words will never describe who you are! Ever! So just get the fuck out of my sight!" Lilith said angrily, crossing her arms as her hair slowly went down with every deep breath that she took. Soon her hair was just glimmering but not ablaze anymore. She turned away from Stella, trying to hide her anger the best that she could. Stella had no idea who she was, she never would unless she told her her name herself. She was just too different; Back in the real world she was quiet and nice. Here she could live and be the other side of herself, the one she never showed. The hints she gave weren't enough to give away who she was, ever! Not even Stella would be able to guess! She just wouldn't!

Lilith's eyes widened as she heard Ares say that she'd be partnered up with Sir Valentine, turning to face Ares but everyone was already moving before she could protest. She easily caught up to Sir Valentine, even in heels she was fast, just like in real life! "You better be as good as I think you are, or else we'll both be dead!" Lilith said to him, halting as Prince darted off to go find and attract the wolves. She got into a fighting stance, waiting for the wolves to come. She looked at Valentine, wondering what the hell to do with him. "So, any ideas before he gets-" Lilith said before she was cut off by Princre screaming, "Wolves incoming!" She dodge three wolves and slashed a fourth, her claws growing to the size of 8 whole inches. She started slashing at the wolves, dodging and slashing as fast as she could and trying not to get eaten.

"Shit, shit, shit, shit, shit!" Lilith said, a dog grabbing her dress and pulling her onto the ground. "SHIT!" She yelled as one went to bite off her head.

Sir Valentine

Aeternus II Mystic Forest

"Yeah you'll see how good I am, just watch." S.V. said to Lilith, he could tell that she liked him, but she tried to hide it by being rude. Before S.V. could even say anything else he heard Prince scream, and then S.V. saw the wolves. They were big dark ugly creatures. S.V. heard Lilith say something to him about ideas or something, but he was to busy slicing wolves left and right. He felt the rush and the wolf blood on his body. Blade Dancers were at home on any battlefield they lived for a fight, and to show off also. Before S.V. could show off anymore he heard Lilith scream. When he had turned around he could see that a wolf was coming at her. "Petal To The Metal!" After S.V. called out his move, his blades shot out shards, that were as delicate as a rose petal. but as strong and sharp as steel. The wolf had stopped moving, and a sound like a knife cutting through a piece of meat was heard, then the wolf head had fallen off. S.V. walked over to Lilith, "So do you think I'm just good for dancing now?" S.V. had a giant smile on his face, he had just saved Lilith's life, she couldn't be rude this time. "Now come on love, let's kill some more of these ugly creatures." S.V. went back into battle, attacking everything in site now.

Vick
Aeternus II Mystic Forest

Vick had stood a bit startled, becoming somewhat pale after the stranger named Prince had ruffled his hair and kissed his hand. That was new to him, when going to fight a large collection of wolves he didn't expect to be accosted fondly by a shirtless man. He watched as said man left, Vick's mouth hanging agape a bit as they disappeared into the forest. He shook his head and watched as others around him readied for battle, and that brought him somewhat to his senses. He dug into his pockets for his coin and dagger, equipping them for the oncoming storm of fangs and fur. As soon as it became apparent now would have been a good time to buff his allies, the man came back, heralding an army of wolves behind him. Vick panicked somewhat and cast his offensive skill instead of his buffing one. call it He tossed his coin in the air, and it landed on the back of his palm 'the one he kissed...' Vick found himself reflecting on despite current events. He was shaken from his thoughts as a sudden pain shot through his body, he had lost the flip and took a nice little chunk of damage. He cried out in shock and almost fell backwards, allowing for a wolf to get at him more easily. The beast jumped at him and knocked him onto the floor. He used his shelled arm to keep the jaws from clamping down on him. Bet low Vick's arm became a flash, and the wolf received several swift blows to it's underbelly. Causing it to yelp and retreat off of the boy's body. He stood up in a frenzy and cast yet another ability, finally getting around to doing his proper job. Buffing. Jig The coin landed and he felt a wash of relief, a positive flip and he selected three allies to buff. The dancer, Valentine received a buff. The girl from the alley, Lilith, received one as well. Finally he selected Ares, the one who seemed to be planning on charging in and taking some hits. He continued to dance about the leaping wolves and swung fruitlessly at the ones who didn't come just close enough. He wasn't very good at this. His dagger was hitting noting but it seemed to keep some of the wolves away.

Ares
Aeternus || Mystic Forest
Affected Players: Prince

He tightened both knuckles, his forearms flexed. What gave him the right to make such a claim? “Is that something you’re willing to guarantee?” Ares said, shooting the buccaneer a solemn glance before he took off.

Ares stood his ground against the incoming pack – his legs spread shoulder-length apart in a short stance, left foot leading and right in rear guard, knees slightly bent, core flexed– waiting for the most opportune moment to strike. He remained focused as the buccaneer sped past him. “One, two, three…you’re mine.” He whispered, counting the wolves that ran straight for him.

“Dark Wave!” He roared as he swung his great-lance, the powerful Soul Eater, in a diagonal upward slash, shooting a single wave of dark energy. The attack found its intended targets and sent them ricocheting in different directions against the forest ground, debris lifting in the wake of the blow. Just as the wolves began to recover, Ares bolted forward with a potent stride.

These wolves were reckless. As soon as they were back on their four, they charged for Ares once more. Or perhaps, devoid of any real sentience, they simply acted on instinct. Whatever the case, they approached fast in a three-pronged formation. Exploiting the momentum of his pace and the positioning of his enemies, Ares jerked Soul Eater forward in a fluid movement – Triple Thrust. He managed to impale two of the three wolves but missed the third one.

“Shit…” That was as much as had managed to escape his tongue and before he knew it he had a snout ripping at his left gauntlet. The wolf’s jaw was locked, despite the armor of his gauntlet; he could feel the stabbing pain that pounded at his palm. Ares tugged at the wolf, and in a split-second’s time, flung the beast. Ignoring the sharp pain, he bolted forward once more and took to the air in a mighty leap; he locked the sharp of the lance downward and thundered straight into the wolf – Earth Breaker. Right before his eyes, the wolf spun into strings of data before phasing out of existence completely.

The Imagineer
Aeternus || Nexus
Sleepy Leaf Bridge

The Sleepy Bridge. Here is where the quest log has said that the idiots were. ...Apprehension or murder, the choice was to be made. A tilt of the head was made as Imagine stared at it from the town's entrance and onward into the Mystic Forest that lay onward. Cheap, ignorant fools, assuming that gold would be their salvation in the mess that had come of this place. A soft sigh came as she caught her knife from the throwing pattern that she'd been performing to busy herself. A few others were supposed to come...Should she wait? It said to but...Ah, she was a bit too conflicted at the moment as she saw another unfortunate noobie coming along to get right into the dungeoneering. ...Ah? Here it went again. A few geared guys surrounding the little one -- who...unfortunately, didn't seem like he knew that there was a price that had to be paid in order to cross. Anger stretched across one of their faces, before she noticed one of them raising their weapon a little too menacingly. They knew what could happen and they still wanted to hurt this kid for him not having enough gold to cross? ...Well, that was it.

Hoped the other could catch up by the time she started some trouble. She knew the consequences, but her mind was already set this time.

"Hey, dumbasses."
Stepping forward, the Mastermind did not look amused as she motioned for the victim to bugger off to the side. With one of her hand resting upon her waist, and the other holding her knife securely, she sighed before speaking up with one of two things: No tact, or no fear, which...for what she decided to address them as?
"You're all ignorant, selfish bastards. Did you read the letter? Still trying to raise a weapon against another person? ...You're lower than dirt."
Maybe a combination of both for berating eight of them at once and ruining their conning attempt (and possible homicide, if the email she'd read was anything to go by). This was the moment now that things either for really bad, or she pulled a whole bunch of assholish fantasmagoria from her skills available. Apprehend...or kill?...

...Sigh. Apprehension was probably better for her own sake.

"...Hm..."
Eight on one...Alright, the first task was to try and even the score down a bit, and she had just the thing for it. With that, she stood where she was, violet orbs staring at the players in front of her as dozens of white feathers began to fall from above her head out of empty air. This? Her Insomnia ability. All she had to do was get a few of them asleep...And for the ones that didn't go to sleep? ...Well, as long as they were all in their little group and in her range, they'd be in for a bit of pain.

Moon234
Aeternus || Nexus
Sleepy Leaf Bridge

Moon strolled through the street, he had a soft frown on his face, though with current happenstance that wasn't too unusual. His familiar Artemis floated high behind his shoulder, it's head turning with clicks here an there, taking in the world with it's nearly featureless faceplate. They were headed towards a bridge, Moon couldn't properly remember it's name, he just knew it was being ruled by some bullies currently. Moon never liked bullies, back in the real world he had to deal with them quite often, even switched schools once to escape them. In this world though, he was stronger, not the often sickly little kid he was back home, here he could stop bullies, and stop bullies she would. He began walking with a little bit more oomph, the thought of people picking on smaller people was getting him motivated, he didn't have a plan, nor did he know if he could win but he knew he would try, this was still a game after all, it didn't hurt to get hit in games.

Arriving at a bridge (which he had gotten pointed out by a local NPC) he saw two smaller figures standing against a handful of larger ones. No doubt this was the right place, the bigger ones were a bit too intimidating to not be bullies. Moon took half a step forward and stopped, his body halting against his previously thought will. "Come one.." he said a bit angrily down to his legs, his voice was soft, it didn't really have any harshness to it and it was higher pitched then most of his age and gender. "Whats stopping you? We should go help!" he continued to berate his own appendages, not allowing himself to realize he was scared. A few steps forward and he persevered, forcing negative thoughts out little by little, this is just a game, this is just a game he replayed the thought through his head over and over, until he came standing not far behind a girl and some small looking boy. "H-Hey!" he forced a shaky little out-call to rise from himself, trying to get some attention and doing a poor job. Just as he was to try again an outburst happened. The girl made some sort of glowy orbs appear, startling some of the adversaries. She was going to attack... He needed to help! He took some surprisingly resolute steps forward, and came to her side, throwing out his wand in front of him. "I-I won't let you bully anymore" he announced, this time a bot bolder, though still with some shake to it. He imagined it came out quite cool and heroic, though really he was still just a kid in a dress waving a stick around. His familiar came to his side, it's arms bent back as if to strike at something. Despite his non-threatening look, the two were in battle mode, and were going to cause some bullies some trouble, it was time to waltz.

Wandering Fool

Aeternus || Nexus

Sleepy Leaf Bridge

Only a three hundred gold reward for defeating eight players... It sounded good on the outset, but there was that question- was the gold distributed per party, or per player? If it was per player, the reward would be almost too much, despite quest difficulty. Per party made more sense. But on that same thought.... if ten people took down the eight, then each would only get thirty gold.

He sighed, strolling out of town. Even looked at that way, it was a decent sum. Such a pain. Apparently a few people had agreed to meet up for this around this time, according to the woman. Not that he intended to be dependent on anyone for support. This was eight people. In a regular MMO he wouldn’t have blinked at the idea of taking them on, but in this one you could die. Dying was a poor life choice, along with doing drugs and drinking. Better get this over with.

The seen Jeremy walked into was an interesting one. A girl telling off a bunch of armed players while she had not a weapon in hand, and then a boy ran up yelling about bullies. But... Where was everyone else? Useless. He paused a second allowing the boy to finish his speech, and then approached the group from behind, in time to see people dropping.

“Woah now, a lady like you shouldn’t stoop to their levels.” He shook his head sadly and approached her side, careful to stay away from her front, or the feathers. “Just look at these poor players, how can you blame them when you made the first move?”

Three of the players had dropped, and one was swaying. This could work- intimidate the others, make them feel weak. Jeremy turned so that the bridge was in his peripheral vision.

“As of right now, doesn’t that make you lower than dirt as well? Technically speaking of course.” He grinned and glanced at the bridge, and then spun, flipping a knife into his hand and cocking his arm back for an instant- long enough to activate Dead Eye and bury the knife just over the players standard issue breastplate, in his throat. The White Knight had been advancing while he was talking. Rude. He turned back to the girl, taking the time to glance over her public player data. Ah, Imagineer, mastermind class. Not much to speak of in physical defense then.

“Now see what you made me do! Now I am lower than dirt too!” Jeremy shook his head in mock shame and turned towards their opponents, smiling cheekily. “How about you just let yourselves be turned in, sit nice and safe in a cell for a while? It’s safe, they feed you, and you don’t have to pay for a bed- perfect for cowards!” The Knight he had stabbed had already pulled out the blade and tossed it aside, rubbing at his throat with a pained expression. Jeremy waved his hand and another knife seemed to slowly rise out of his sleeve. He flourished his cloak with one hand and bowed, hat and knife in the other.

Jeremy spoke out of the corner of his mouth to the Moon Waltzer. “Brother, mind lending a magician a hand? Try to keep the muscles over there busy with your little friend, Miss Imagination over here probably has as bad physical defense as me.”

Prince
Aeternus ll Mystic Forest
Effected Players: Slightly Ares, Vick

"Of course! Because your idea of death is different from mine!" Came Prince's reply before continuing on.

All the while, his body moved like water, dodging the lunging wolves as his swords danced against them, slicing them up with quick speed, slowly biting away at the health points of the beasts. It was hard though, having three of them charging at him like they were. It was hard enough biting down hp on one opponent, but he had three to deal with on his own.

Yet everyone was have their own issues, as battle roared across this battlefield. Still, Prince continued his focus on his opponents, sighing a bit in mild relief to see at least one wolf almost down for the count. One of the wolves though, was veering from him to lunge at the nearest supporters, Vick it seemed. Clicking his tongue, the Buccaneer used his quick legs to get their first, standing in the wolfs path and crossing his swords in a X guard.

His class weren't made for guarding however, and the powerful brunt of weight made it difficult to parry. The red haired man let out a soft pained hiss as screeching pain bolted along his shoulder as the beast clamped its fangs down onto it. Seventy five percent... The other two were coming and the buccaneer raised his arm and tossed a glowing rope at one.

"Ensare." he said, watching the rope tangle against a wolfs body and keep it firmly planted their, only constricting more at the beasts struggle.

Though another bite from the second wolf landed on his left arm. With a hiss, he slashed his left blade up against the wolf on his shoulder while swinging the right down another. "Serpent Strike.." he smirked as the wolves yelped at the smooth moving quick skill and let go of him.

"Lucky Dice." he whispered as his left hand held out a pair of dice before tossing them, hoping he was lucky today.

Thankfully, he was and his attack boosted up and with a smirk he put his swords together and in a lightning fast lunge, pierced one of the wolves in the chest. "Piercing Merlin." he said, ignoring the pain and the blood selling up in his bare shoulder and arm, streaming down his body.

The wolf howled before evaporating into nothing but data. Panting a little, he held his swords up as the other two wolves circled him before charging once more in attack. Once again, he dodged from their blows, swinging his blades at them as they passed him as he dodged.

Vick
Aeternus II Mystic Forest

Vick managed a good stab at one of the wolves, it had seemed to be moving slower than the others and once he struck it again he realized it was the one who had jumped him earlier. The one he had stabbed in it's belly multiple times. "okay...so I Am doing something..." he said to himself, still turning in circles to check for which wolf would jump him, it seemed if he had his blade in front they wouldn't charge him right away, and he had managed to keep most at bay so far, only taking scrapes here and there. Though that didn't really matter, if he didn't go on the offense, he would be dead eventually, his life had obviously been dropping bit by bit. He sidestepped a wolf by a hair, or uh, fur, and took it as his chance to finish off the wounded one. Call it
a coin tossed and a coin caught, Vick saw a head staring back at him, one flat and always looking one way, it meant he had won the toss. A streak of light from the coin to the enemy and it took the respective damage, finally succumbing to the build up, and crackling out into threads of data. Vick got caught up in the small victory and didn't pay attention to the wolf leaping at him, just when he caught in his peripherals, a body stood between him and his attacker. Prince, the one who kissed my hand had leapt to his aid, and took a massive penalty for it. Vick cursed and ran to his side, barely avoided contact with some fangs along the way. "Why would you do that?" he asked frantically as he came within not obtrusive distance of his ally. He was faced with a snarling face once more and this time lunged to meet it. Bet low A flurry of snapping jaws was met with a flurry of jabbing blades and both parties took their damage for it, Vick winced as he withdrew his now torn and bleeding arm. He would have to be more careful, even with those quick attacks.

"You should be more careful!" he yelled back to Prince as he swiped half-heartedly at a distanced wolf. He tried to ignore the fact he only said that after not using his own attack correctly. He sighed in his mind and went back to trying to fend of wolves, now being mixed up with his own and Prince's, he started to only then debate if going to his side was a good idea.

The Imagineer
Aeternus || Nexus
Sleepy Leaf Bridge

Just as she started up a ruckus, people seemed to be drawn to it like moths to light. A young boy - girl? - whatever, a mage ran to her side within the first few moments of her Insomnia ability kicking in, with something of a trickster following in soon afterwards. Player info would have to wait later to be grabbed -- she had more important matters to attend to as of now. Three players dropped to the ground instantly, out cold and in a deep slumber as from her hand, the ornate knife that she cherished so was displayed with the sharp end point out. A circle drawn before her displayed several ancient runes -- ones created by her at that - as each feather around her converged into a white light that amalgamated together to create a clowing ring. A quick flash of the circle would send these white lights out to the remainin five players that had not chosen to surrender to sleep as they should have, resulting in their bodies suffering the consequence. A damaging spell that would begin over time for only those that had not fallen out. Her? Stooping to their level? Surely not.
"I've no intent to kill. I'm incapacitating them with what I'm capable of doing, so that they can be taken in without a potential murder taking place. So get to it, if you can. I won't have any deaths, and I sure as hell am getting these idiots under lock and key. Oi, kid. Those ones that fell are asleep. Try not to whack them."

Taking control of the situation? At least attempting to. If things were gonna be going like this, the White Knight was gonna be aggroing onto the familiar of the kid, which only left...four others to deal with. Alright, simple enough. She might as well keep her little fiesta of initiation going, which would cause her to step forward, the single movement coming with a further drain on her Sanity in order to form black, transparent butterflies around her body. A single point with her blade to the fourth player in the group, combined with the intimidation they all seemed to be feeling, and landing her Black Thought was the easiest task in the world as those butterflies crawled down her neck as they sank into her flesh and the energy of their traversing ran through her arm to the point that it glowed through her jacket until reaching the tip of the knife and promptly shooting itself out as a laser-like projectile.

It worked like a charm, going straight through the fourth player -- a mere Rogue, rendering him damaged by the ability, though the main effect was what came after: in mere moments, the player's eyes widened, hysteria overtook his features, and he was soon running around and screaming as he tried to figure out where to go. Ah, the Terrify status ailment, rendering him little more than a damned chicken with its head cut off for lack of a better hypothetical comparison. That made it four down, as he soon ran right into the bridge's sidewalls and promptly knocked himself over. Ah, this was becoming a little too easy now...Well, it was better than having to do this the way she'd planned. Less screaming was involved, and wasn't that a joy? Dusting off her jacket, she turned her gaze to the magician and finally began to go over his player data as she stepped forward to address those that remained. ...Ah. Jeez, this was one pretty squishy team. But hell, what did she care? Work was getting done.

"Stand down and come peacefully, you pigs in virtual veils! Four of you are already down, and I'm not quite sure these two here are all intent on heeding the words of the letter that was sent to every player regarding what happens when your HP hits 0."

Intimidating? The Imagineer had the voice, the stance, and the aura to give off one hell of a superior presence to these people. ...But now, she digressed.
"Magician. If you're going to help, don't kill them. I'm not up for gaining infamy on the first day on the job."

While they went about that? One of the players in the back began to chant as this mess all started, a torrent of flame soon released from her staff to go right for the Magician as the White Knight took this moment to charge at the kid that'd decided to join in on the crazyness.

Sir Valentine

Aeternus II Forest

S.V. was getting badly damage in this fight. "Damn wolves! Ugly bastards!" S.V. started to go on an attacking frenzy, slicing every dark beast in his path. The more he attacked, the better he felt. Then when he was buffed by Vick it made him even more powerful at the time. S.V. saw how Prince was struggling against the wolves. "Need help buddy?" Prince was flying around chopping the wolves up. S.V. could see that he had it under control, and Vick was buffing him so he should be ok. "Pump It Up" S.V. used his buff skills to help out his allies who needed the sp the most. "That's for helping me out Vick, thanks!" Out of everyone Vick would need the sp to keep buffing up the rest of the group. S.V. went back to attacking the wolves, after this battle he would need to drink is hp and sp potions and a ginger cookie, to feel better again."How many more of these overgrown rats do we need to kill Ares?" S.V. loved the adrenaline he received when he fought in a battle or quest. Adrenaline was a side effect of being a Blade Dancer it gave them a boost of strength when they needed it. S.V. was almost killed by one wolf, that came out of no where but he used his aoe ability to knock it off to the trees, and then it was erased from existence.

Moon234
Aeternus || Nexus
Sleepy Leaf Bridge

Moon had only begun to debate with himself what spell to try and use first, not really having put much thought into it before he joined the fray. Though as if to relieve him of his worries another factor was added to the equation, a newcomer appeared. A sly looking man in all black, he seemed to carry an odd air about him that Moon didn't really get, he began talking in an odd way that was a bit to full of nuance and sarcasm for Moon to really read into, all at once they had thrown a blade, one that could have easily killed a person if it had been the real world. Moon jumped a bit when the impact happened and was sort of caught off guard when he was asked to actually help.

oh right, that's what i'm here for. He remembered his intended purpose and raised his wand once more to cast something, being broken from his concentration once more when the stern girl went to do something again before him. She did some flashy move that made Moon's eyes fill with wonder, he was so taken back that he didn't notice the man she had hit start freaking out until he screamed. Moon jerked his head back to his opponents, the ones who were now much less intimidating and much more so a group of people running around trying to seem competent. But that didn't change Moon's mind, they were still bullies and he was given a job to do.

Not only that, but it seemed his specific antagonist, the white knight, was now barreling towards him full tilt, a blade in his hands meant for Moon's face. Moon began to panic a bit not understanding why he was now facing off with a much bigger opponent. Artemis seemed to take action before his master, coming to meet the knight halfway, they collided and the familiar took a good swing to him, the blade glancing off his shoulder, a spark and clang of metal on metal resonating out as the collision quickly began and ended.

Moon flung his hand out, calling forth his attack as he did so. "Lunar pierce!" With that outcry Artemis began to glow, taking the white knight off guard he shot forward, becoming a proverbial white arrow, dragging the man helplessly backwards. Colliding with one of the other more physically intimidating fellows. A brawler who had seemed to be biding his time for getting a good hit in, he was taken back and struck with his ally and his enemy all at once.

"Waltz!" the small boy added onto the punishment, making his familiar begin to throw out a storm of punches, fast little jabs connecting here and there, pushing the two large bodies back somewhat with their force, and damaging as well as debuffing them as well. Moon had gotten far to caught up and distracted in his small victory to notice the fireball heading towards his ally, he panicked and threw his wand up once more, trying to cast his shielding ability, he realized it wouldn't matter. The attack was too close, and the enemy was a higher level, they would easily break the shield either way, all he could do was hope his new friend was fast enough, and that his heal was potent enough.

Once again getting to hung up on one part of the battle he didn't realize his familiar was without orders, and only heard the metal on metal as reminder. Turning to see Artemis taking hits from fist and blade alike he frantically waved his hand, drawing his familiar back quickly. This whole standing up thing was much harder than he had anticipated...

Wandering Fool

Aeternus || Nexus

Sleepy Leaf Bridge

Affected Characters: Moon234, The Imagineer

“Alls fair in war~ and love, as it happens.” The distraction of responding was long enough, and he felt the heat of the flames before he saw them. Instinctively, he tucked and rolled, Avoidance activating. It wasn’t fast enough however. Taken by surprise, when he had lunged into the roll his right leg had been caught in the flames, burning it badly and inflicting him with a BRN status. The status itself wasn’t his main concern though. Jeremy rolled and hissed through his teeth as the flames went out on his leg. So much damage... He growled. And slowly picked himself up, keeping weight off the burned leg. That mage just tried to kill me. Already the magician was chanting again, preparing what looked to be a lightning spell- a good strategy against basic mobs. Hit with a powerful spell that would damage and cause a damaging status, and then paralyze/finish them with a second. But he was a human. The mage pointed his wand as he was about to finish casting, and crackling electricity intensified around the wand point, gathering to- a black knife buried itself in the mages eye. Across from the mage stood a very, very angry man. He had activated Dead Eye in time to stop what could have been a death blow.

“Is this what you want?!” The mage was howling on the ground- the blow wasn’t as deadly as it could have been in real life, but the pain was real. Pain shot up his leg and Jeremy took damage just from turning, the burn creeping down his health. He faced in the direction of the white knight and brawler. “A battle to the death?” That mage had just tried to kill him. The Ranger in the back pulled back an arrow and aimed it at Jeremy’s chest. In response, he raised both hands, displaying two knives held in each hand, between his fingers. The ranger moved back a bit, using the Brawler and Knight as a shield. The two advanced, the robotic thing having retreated under their combined might.
They were trying to kill them too. That was it, everyone was trying to kill him. Jeremy snarled and then pulled his arm back. “Darkness Slayer.” His words came out as a whisper, but suddenly his arm snapped forward, and then back, and then forward, both arms. His hands seemed to blur and then for just a second, eight long black throwing knives could be seen in the air, almost like a lethal cloud of spinning death.

Knives fell among the clumped enemy players with little care of what or whom was hit. The White Knight took one in the arm, another scraped across his breastplate and then skittered a few feet across the ground with its momentum. The brawler was less fortunate, taking a knife in his thigh, one in his stomach, just one knife hit the Ranger, knocking the shot wild when it struck her shoulder. Another knife scythed past her face, and two others missed completely.

Jeremy took a deep breath as pain lanced up his leg again, burning away his health. Bound Blades activated almost as soon as the last knife halted, and they all disappeared with a small flash, vanishing from bodies, the ground, and even from players hands. He held up a newly returned knife, enraged, and above all, intent on killing before being killed.

Prince
Aeternus ll Mystic Forest
Effected Players: Vick

Continuing to dance around the wolves, his attacks doing more deadly damage thanks to Lucky Dice and combined with his fast strikes, he was dwindling their health at a steady pace, going faster the more they tried to get closer. Although the tall man was slightly taken off guard as the boy known as Vick came to his side, bringing his own wolves.

At the question, Prince merely have a carefree grin, despite how his injuries were throbbing painfully and streaks of blood slithered down his arm and torso.

"Cause we are comrades, and we watch each others back. Plus your cute. Is there a better reason?" Prince laughed as he watched the wolves prowl around them.

This many opponents was honestly too much for a low level Buccaneer to handle with a support class type comrade. Any lesser skilled individual would be dead. Quite a good thing he actually did training in real life.. It wasn't dodging monsters, but it was better than nothing.

Vick seemed to fling himself to meet a wolf, using a skill that killed he wolf, but damaged him as well. At the scolding, the one eyed man merely smirked in return. "Well I could say there same for you. You should be closer around Sir Boss over there instead of me. And not doing similar reckless actions." The red haired man teased as he spun away from a wolf before using Serpent Strike on a wolf close to Vick. One sword slicing up against the jaw while the other went down against the ear and cheek.

The wolf howled before evaporating into strings of data. Though it seemed he used up his buff as he wore off and the ensnared wolf of his broke free. Well he had more to go on his own, before assisting the others. Excluding the two that were snarling at Vick. As his teal eye watched the three wolves, he noticed them circle them, surprising him with the use of a actual tactic. It was odd, it felt that this game was becoming more alive as they played but maybe that's just him.

With a click of his tongue, he took another risk by using his fast legs to leap away from the wolf closest to him while making a grab at Vick to rug him out of the way of the assault of two of his wolves, his swords making a slash towards their faces. Though one managed to reach a large paw out and claws raked his bare scarred chest, blood breaking through the tan skin and trickling down.

Hissing lightly and his breathing becoming heavier as pain electrified his body, the feeling of of weights bringing down his body. His vision was slightly shaking and the flashes of a red hue slightly clouded his vision, warning him of the danger he was in. Still he ignored it and he forced himself to stand straight as he dodged out of the way of another bite, his blades slashing the muzzle of one of the wolves.

"That all ya got fuzz ball?" he taunted with a smirk.

Vick
Aeternus II Mystic Forest

Affected players: Prince

Vick felt a sudden return of energy, seeing his SP amount go up he turned to see the man named Valentine responsible. Vick threw out a wave and a "thank you" before going back to dancing with wolves. Vick swiped at one as it came onto him, knocking it aside yet compromising his own balance. He heard the bare chested man speaking to him, spouting more nonsense that confused Vick, cute? Not a word he expected when used to describe him. He threw out another stab and just grazed some teeth, causing some sparks to clatter out from his shelled arm. He backed up a bit, anxiety rising in his chest.

Where did the other wolves go? He almost began to frantically search for them, but instead found himself being yanked away, a weight pulling him out of the way of an attack. He looked at the two wolves a bit bewildered, found them. It took half a second for him to register what had actually happened, but when the stars aligned he looked to his once again savior. Prince was torn up and reaching an incredibly low amount of health. "Stop doing that!" was all he could blurt out, the thank you being lost behind concern. He turned to see the now very low wolf that Prince's blade had met with. Finding it the culprit for his ally's danger, he leapt at the thing, dragging it to the ground with his body weight. His metal arm serving as a prop to keep the things jaws elsewhere, he struck it repeatedly with his knife. His savage onslaught was halted by a growl to his right.

The other wolf, one that was not as near dying as the one firmly around his arm, was making a target of him, and in fear of making his ally jump to his aid once more, he decided to take action. "bet low" he called, letting a flury of quick jabs turn a wolf into data. He rolled back, coming to an ungraceful sitting position and flipped a coin, the wolf came charging just in time for it to land. Heads, another positive flip and a familiar light shot out, damaging the wolf mid-flight. Vick scurried to stand, in fear of the thing getting back up. He looked to Prince, "Get to the healer!" he was trying his best to not lose attention, but his friend was getting frighteningly close to, game over. With that Vick found himself standing near Prince once again, trying this time to use himself as the shield, instead of the usual other way around.

"Let me take the hit next time, alright? If you want to be my teammate that is, if not then I give up on you!" He felt he would have to use petty threats like that, the person he was dealing with seemed crazy enough to let himself die. Vick would try his damn hardest to not let him though. "Let's go to our white mage, you need some help..." he turned to see another readied missile in the silo, the wolf crouched and ready to take down the hatted man. He flipped around, hoping that his ally didn't notice, and took the thing to the chest, the two hit the ground, a familiar scene apparently. He gave a right hook that would make Ali cringe to the things jaw, knocking it off in time for him to stand up. "This is getting redundant..." he muttered to himself, he never though fighting some wolves in a game would be so damn hard.

"So much ill will..."

...Ah. She could feel it. The beginnings of her sanity calling out to her, the depravity of madness clawing at the edges of her mind as she closed her eyes and shuddered. None had noticed her well enough to actually strike her yet, focusing instead on what looked to be the "bigger" problems despite all odds...And now...One glance to the kid on the left showed him frantically trying to make his Familiar follow his orders. Meanwhile, her momentary conversational partner had taken a fireball to the knee (...) that'd sent him on something of a rampage. This was getting out of hand far too quickly. They all knew of the email...Knew of the consequences...And yet they were still trying so damned hard to kill one another, despite all things...

"So much ill will..."

...There was only one other chance to stop this. None of them noticed her with all that was going on. Ah, yes...Yes, this should work, right? Her lips fell to a small frown as she began to sway in just the slightest manner, not quite unlike that of one losing their balance from just waking up. Eventually, she lurched over, grabbing her head as the further drain of her sanity began to form over her body and create darker pulses around her body as she took a deep breath. So much death lingering just on the horizon...So much inconsideration towards what they'd all been put through...So much...That nobody else thought about...The White Knight assaulting a poor boy without even a moment's consideration to the fact that he could die...The Mage striking even though her spells could snuff out one's existence in a heartbeat...

Enough was enough, wasn't it?

"ץ๏ย คll ๒єคг ร๏ ๓ยςђ เll ฬเll...!"

And there it was. A horrific shriek -- not merely one, but it sounded as if it was hundreds of voices screaming out at once as the pulse exploded from her in order to go out and hit every single being that wasn't already decommissioned instead. Her Breakdown ability was the only solution she could think of in order to stop ALL of them and get things to a point that understanding could be had. With any luck, the poor kid would be spared its wrath, but as for the rampaging man over there? ...He needed to be stopped or calmed somehow. And as the first victim of the ability, the Mage that had struck first against the Knife Thrower would find herself clutching her head for a mere moment before her entire body was frozen in place, terror filling her expression. One stopped, that was absolute, now...for the rest?...The Imagineer would slowly raise herself up, head tilting back and her body nearly following as it went backwards for a few seconds. Violet orbs would begin scanning the area around here to see what had become of those involved.

(Gonna leave the rest of who's effected up to Moon-Moon and Wanda. BUT DAT MAGE THO.)

Ares
Aeternus || Mystic Forest
Affected Players: Prince - Vick

Two wolves remained, and had nearly charged into lance range. Ares stood straight, swaying Soul Eater with his right hand; a withdrawn, unpitying fire burning in the iris of his emerald eyes. He remained poised and astute.

Both wolves charged him at a menacing pace. The Dark Knight bolted forward, slid between the attacking beasts and, digging his lance into the ground, spun around. That brought him into an advantageous position – behind the enemy. With a powerful sweep, he launched another wave of dark energy – Dark Wave. The blow slashed at the wolves’ hinds, splashing dark sparks at the point of impact.

At that moment, a second wolf twisted into glowing strands of data before disappearing. Only one remained now. Within seconds, the third and final wolf was speeding at Ares once more. The lance-wielder remained controlled but wasn’t counting on the enemy’s special attack. The wolf lunged forward, activating its own ability – Crunch. A phantasmal jaw hammered down on Ares, provoking a cough with traces of blood. The wolf somersaulted, its snout snarled and ready to attack but Ares was ready this time. He caught the wolf by the face with his black-steel gauntlet, violently smashed the beast against the ground and impaled it with Soul Eater. He was running on the ecstasy of his adrenaline.

Off the corner of his eyes, Ares noticed two unusually low health bars – Prince and Vick. Still in the heat of the moment, his blood cool but flowing ably throughout his body, Ares bolted in their direction. He soared and, dual-wielding Soul Eater, rained hell on the enemy – Earth Breaker.

“No one dies tonight,” Ares said, “do not hesitate to use potions, you cannot afford to just as I cannot afford to be telling you this in the middle of battle. I’ll hold them off.” They should know better, he thought.

Breaking a couple SP vials between his teeth, Ares gulped the blue liquid to restore his Soul Points.

Without giving them a chance to reply, Ares charged the wolves. He swung Soul Eater as he bolted forward, lunging his great-lance diagonally in a vicious slash – Dark Wave. The attacking wolves smashed aggressively against the ground. Ares was evolving, he was starting to keep track of sequential movements and preparing responsively for attacks – he was a brilliant strategist that learned from his mistakes.

At that moment, a thundering howl erupted from the deeper end of the woods. In seconds, a hulking werewolf carrying a wrapped long-sword emerged from the trees. Ares took a long breath. He was the hardest hitter; he’d have to go in first. He bought them enough time.

“Berserker Thrust…” he whispered.

Dark purple, almost black, mist blazed from the great-lance. In a lightning bolt strike, Ares lunged forward and slammed into the enemy head-on. The merciless blow caught the towering werewolf on the right shoulder, managing to lightly penetrate. Ares struggled to remove his weapon from the creature’s flesh. The werewolf snarled before gripping Soul Eater with its colossal claws. It almost effortlessly pulled the weapon himself and smashed down a clinging Ares before hurling the weapon – Ares still holding tight – across the ground. This was his job; he had to remind himself as his cheek pressed against the cold of the dirt. He felt light vertigo as he struggled to get back on his own two.

(I hope this is ok.)
Xenoko Feng
Aeternus || Nexus
Town Square
Xenoko was walking through the town square of Nexus, the rain still hadn't stopped and in fact had gotten a little worse. But while most players were running for cover from the deluge, Xenoko casually strolled through the square as through the rain wasn't bothering him in the slightest. In truth, he felt the wetness of the rain, but even it couldn't dampen his spirits now. Sure they were stuck inside of a video game, and sure if they died here they died in real life. All that aside though, he was basically doing what he did every day, this was his job. Play video games and be really REALLY good at them, all he had to do now was do as he normally did and he should be fine.

He smiled as he dredged through the rain covered streets towards the brewery. He smiled as the building came into view, protecting cargo sounded like an easy enough task, who knows, maybe the cargo wouldn't even need protecting. He pushed open the large wooden door to find the cargo half loaded into a carriage. A young man walked up to him upon his entrance. "I presume you're here about the cargo?" the man said as he approached, sticking out his hand as he did. Xenoko bowed slightly as he was approached and shook the man's hand. "You presume correctly sir, I trust the cargo will be loaded soon?" he asked as his gaze shifted to the carriage. The man nodded and looked at the carriage "Oh yes, in fact it looks like they've just finished." He said before waving over the driver who walked up. "This will be your security." the man said as he gestured to Xenoko who smiled and bowed. The driver looked at Xenoko with a smile before gesturing to the carriage "better get on then, rain's not gonna stop for a while and we've got a ways to go into the Mystic Forest." He said.

That was a relief, at least it wasn't THAT far, how much could go wrong in the time it took to get through the Mystic Forest? He smiled as he leapt onto the top of the carriage. The driver got up and in a moment, they were off, out into the rain covered streets once again, Xenoko balancing atop the carriage as it trundled through the city, the sound of the horses hooves clattering against the cobblestone streets echoing against the wooden and stone structures that they passed. Although it seemed easy, Xenoko was on guard for anything that might happen. His eyes scanning the waterlogged streets as they cantered through the city and out into the wilderness.

As their carriage continued down the pathway Xenoko watched as the scenery changed from city streets to a slight open area and eventually into dense forestry. The ride seemed to go smoothly enough until he heard his expertly trained gamer's ears heard the unmistakable sounds of a battle. He could see in the distance several players fighting on what looked to be a bridge, he paused for a moment and then told the carriage driver to stop. "There's danger ahead, wait for me here until I come back to get you." he said as he jumped from atop the carriage and ran towards the sounds of fighting. As the group came into view, he could make out several of the players, most of whom seemed to be wounded in some way or other. It was then that their opponents came into view at which Xenoko sighed "What kind of shit storm...?" He thought for a moment and then, as he approached the group, he acted.

Xenoko's eyes narrowed and he jumped literally into the crowd of enemies counting on his ability to dodge to keep him safe from their attacks, adding in the element of surprise he should have the advantage here. Once he was well within their ranks, Xenoko unloaded his abilities on the enemies. "Flurry of blows, Elemental fist." Xenoko said as he activated the two abilities simultaneously. All he was trying to do now was deal as much damage as possible to these enemies, while trying to get them to prioritize himself instead of the already wounded players. It didn't matter who he hit, he just had to get some damage out there on these enemies or they wouldn't stand a chance no matter what they did.
