This rp is going to be based off of a band that is going to be playing there last small time gig. Soon their lives are going to be changing more then they could have ever imagined. There isn't much detail besides a basic direction for where I want this to be, because I love character steered rps where you honestly don't know what is going to happen. For instance everyone could be happy but someone is homesick and finds ways to compensate for that be it alcohol, drugs, or sex. So that being Said I'll have some rules basing around some things that can be happening here.

Rules:
1. Language is allowed just not every other word.
2. Romance or sex is allowed as long as you don't go to detail. If you do fade it out or take it to pm.
3. Don't control another character without that person or my permission.
3. Make sure you add at the bottom of the CS that there is two threes.
4. You must at least post every two or three days.
5. If you can't post for whatever reason let me know.
6.Send all CS to me for approval
7. To verify you have actually read all the rules at the bottom of your cs put L3TS ROCK

Personality: Though she is kind hearted she can be very angry, feisty, and she always want's to be the one to get the last word. She'll be nice to those that she knows well but to people that grind her gears she will not hold back.
Favourite Bands: Team Dresch, Dinosaur Jr., Titus Andronicus, Sleater-Kinney, Bikini Kill, Screaming Females
Hobbies/Skills: She's a multi-instrumentalist, while she may prefer singing she's quite adept on bass and can hold her own on guitar. As well she's had some classical piano training and even a little bit of trumpet.
Job: Off-and-On bartender at a pretty awful dive bar.
Bio: Nicky was born to a well off family and at a young age her father pushed her into learning the art of music. She started at age 5 with learning piano but as she got closer to high school she became very close to the punk and alt-rock scenes leading her into learning guitar and bass. In high school she really dressed like a punk which led her into her first band, a Queercore outfit called Excuse 16. It didn't really lead anywhere but it did show her what she wanted to do with her life. She wanted to be in a band.

After graduation she found this band to join. She thought it was great and had real potential to go somewhere. But potential doesn't buy food so she had to start working at a bar one of her bandmates from Excuse 16 set up. It wasn't much but it could help her any time she needed some spare cash. But things are looking up for her, the band she though had potential may now be able to fulfil that potential, and Nicky may finally realize her dream of singing in an actually popular band. It's something she's wanted ever since she was a teenager and now all the hard work will finally pay off.

Say goodbye to groccery lists and messaging machines, Ana has it covered. This comes pretty surprising to most people considering her hobbies mostly include alcohol and smoking.

➞ Biography: Analise was born of Italian descent into a lower middle class family. Her mother and father were both employed at the restaurant her father had opened in town, she never had too much hardship growing up. She is the youngest of 3 children; her two older brothers: Antonio and Anthony. Twins, and both quite the troublemakers. Growing up Ana spent quite the time with her brothers, following them around like a lost puppy. They protected and kept her safe, but also brought her into the world of vices while mom and dad were away at work, or sleeping soundly in bed after extra long shifts.

Meeting the band was the best thing that could have ever happened to the girl. They really balanced her out, and without them she wouldn't know what her life might be like. A party here and there, a drink here and there to match. Ana could never keep track of them, despite her talent with keeping track of everything else. Without her friends to keep her straight, she almost didn't care. There wasn't too many memories of that night besides the rancid taste of vomit in her mouth the next day. "Yo, I don't feel so good. Come take care of me?" Ana texted helplessly; and of course her friends always delivered.

Personality: A very sarcastic with little to no remorse for what he says. Chances are if it sounds offensive it is with him. He isn't afraid to go after a girl if he sees something he likes. Definitely has a real passion for the music and desperate to achieve his own sound. If your his friend he has your back even if it may seem like all he wants to do is get in your pants. He has a natural compass towards the dangerous and has been known to get hurt and laugh about it.
Favorite Bands: Stone Sour, Slipknot, Avenged Sevenfold, A Day To Remember, Nirvana, Winery Dogs, Steve Vai, Led Zeppelin, Jack White, Black Sabbath, Artic Monkeys
Hobbies/Skills: repairing guitars, playing guitar, drawing, recording, sex, booze.
Job: Works in a local guitar store.
Bio: Born in England he was raised by a couple young parents who met and fell in love in a bathroom at Led Zeppelin concert. He grew up surrounded by music 24/7 and loved all the tones that came from that magic instrument known as the guitar. His parents moved around a lot eventually leading them to the states where he found some modern american rock and roll. Since he has lived there he opened a guitar store with his father after high school and managed to get a band together with some interesting individuals to say the least to put out a sound that was never heard before. They simply called themselves Out Of Thin Air.

Personality: James is a withdrawn man, and doesn't speak when he doesn't need to. He is stubborn, and doesn't like to compromise. He seems calm but serious, though he is more jovial when he is around people he knows well. He really enjoys learning and teaching, and likes to help those in need, even though he rarely shows it externally.
Favorite Bands: Miles Davis, Flying Lotus, Squarepusher, Carl Craig, Kraftwerk, Charles Ives
Hobbies/Skills: In addition to making music, James enjoys coding, working with electronics, and reading about history.
Job: Computer Programmer
Bio: James was an only child, born into a poor family, and never had much musical training. Though his parents loved him and cared about him, they both worked long hours to make ends meet. James became quiet and reserved due to the lack of social interaction. He always liked listening to music, and was fascinated by computers from a young age. Once he had saved up enough money to buy an old computer of his own, he began to compose music using whatever free software he could find. He also used his computer to practice programming, a skill which would eventually become his career. Jame's love of music led him to join his school jazz band, but he had to quit because his family could not afford the expenses.

In high school, James worked hard, doing especially well in history and math. He made friends with a few of the other musically inclined students in his grade, and produced beats for his friends to rap over. The results were never very good, but it was fun to make music with other people. The group broke up when James began to make more complex, experimental compositions, which didn't fit with the club friendly style that the rest of the group liked. Soon after that, James graduated, and went to college.

Choosing his major was a hard decision. He really loved music, but he knew that it wouldn't pay the bills after he finished college and his scholarship ended. James chose computer science for practical reasons, and did well even though he didn't get along with many of his peers. He found work as a freelance computer programmer after graduation, which has allowed him to escape the poverty that he was born into. James likes this more comfortable lifestyle, but still enjoys the experience of making music with a group.

Appearance:

When on stage he wears formal clothes and a visor that hides his face. He say that this is because musicians should be properly dressed, and he wants people to focus on his music, not on him.

Appearance: Few people would consider Russ average in many regards. Standing just over five feet tall and just under 130 lbs has giving him more then enough attention his whole childhood. A regular work out routine however has left him with a body that most would like to have. Wide broad shoulders and a thick chest have left him stronger then most people a foot taller then him. There is nary a hair on his cleanly shaven face, but his light brown hair at any time measures just off his shoulders, tied up more often then not. Most people don't really consider him hansom, though he has been called cute more often then not due to his height.

Bio: Being the middle child of three boys meant that Russell had to deal with various push and pulls of life, and for the longest time he never had the spotlight. His father is a retired veteran and his mother a social worker. He is especially close to his mother, who always encouraged him to find something he liked to do, and one day when they all went to a Dave Mathews Band concert, he found it. Boyd Tinsley's violin spoke to him, and it was then that he knew he needed to learn how to play.

Playing the violin seemed to come naturally to him, and inside of two years he was playing classical pieces such as Ysaye Sonata No. 8 and Monti Csardas. After a while this became less exiting to him and he started trying to perform a wide range of modern genres, adapting songs that had no violin at all. He took to performing in his local town at various clubs and community centers, where eventually he caught the eyes of his current band whom he click with right away.

Personality: Many consider him the voice of reason, the man with the inflammable temper who carries a level head in any situation. His most inspiring figure in his life is his mom, who taught him that if you get upset over something, then you are doing it wrong and should try again. Others know him as the hard worker with the one track mind, always needing to finish what he is working on before he can move on. He is always willing to lend an ear and a hand, when he is available to do so.

Hobbies/Skills: KJ loves running, reading murder mysteries, writing, and of course playing The Thunder

Bio: Kevin was born to an upper class family. Dad is a computer software developer and mom owns 2 posh restaurants. KJ is the youngest of three children he has an older brother and an older sister. Both of whom are in college where his brother Eric is getting ready to be drafted into the NFL, and his sister Leigh is a year away from going into Law School.

Kevin was always a “unique” child. Very unfocused and just willing to be on his own. However he always demonstrated a love of music. His parents figured let him go to the music store and pick something out. At the age of 10 he picked out a bass guitar, and this was all he needed. Kevin was suddenly focused and driven to develop his skills. Kevin knew this was what he wanted to do with his life.

Kevin’s desire to be a musician has created some tension within his family. His parents want him to go to college in case the “music thing” (as they call it) doesn’t work out (Which by the way they're hoping it doesn't, because they feel this is beneath them). However they support him begrudgingly and they are willing to indulge him for now. Unbeknownst to Kevin his grandmother fully supports him, and she is far wealthier than Kevin's parents. The reason his parents support him is that his grandmother has said if Kevin’s parents don’t support him they’re out of the will. Kevin’s parents don’t realize it, but Kevin is now the executor of his grandmother’s will. Kevin feels that his band is on their way, and views his band mates as his family.

Personality: Valerie is an overachiever through and through. She believes in giving 100 percent in everything and has a tendency to overreact when things go wrong. She can be bossy, competitive, and critical, which can come across as annoying, but at the end of the day, she genuinely does care for her band mates. A good way to explain her personality is, "What Valerie wants, Valerie gets."
Favorite Bands: Flogging Molly, Yellowcard, Dave Matthews Band, Skillet, FUSE.
Hobbies/Skills: Outside of violin, Valerie can play guitar slightly (not enough to justify playing it in front of the band) and can sing back-up if needed. In high school, she was a cheerleader and a camp counselor in training (she is fully a camp counselor now). She also has dreams of getting a book published.
Job: She's a barista at a coffee shop.
Bio: Ever since Valerie was young, her single mom pushed her to be the best, enrolling her in dance, cheerleading and violin lessons since kindergarten. This didn't start affecting her personality until high school when she got involved with the popular crowd. When she graduated Highschool and went into college, she began to hear of a group of twenty-somethings putting a band together. She found them to be off-putting at first and tried to ignore them as her mother had bigger and better plans for her. After finally realizing that her mother's plans weren't her plans, she asked the band if they could start over and if she could join them. While she does complain about them a lot, she is quick to show that she indeed does care a lot for them, even f she'll complain about "sharing the spotlight" with Russell.

Personality: Seductive, stubborn, annoying, loud, obnoxious, selfish.
Favorite Bands: Muse, Nirvana, Alice in chains, HIM and of course THIN AIR. (She's a groupie.)
Hobbies/Skills: She loves drinking, fashion, getting intimate with the band members.
Job: She takes part time shifts on the movie rentals which is almost out of buisness, and sometimes sells cocaine on events, concerts and parties.

Bio: Lola grew up in a trailer park with her mother and stepfather. She start drinking and rebelling in an early age getting involved with different local bands. Music was her escape. To be noticed by the local bands she turned into grungy fashion and light starvation.
She came in contact with Thin air a couple of gigs ago and has been one of their fewer groupies ever since.
