[OOC] Persona: Tale of Twilight

In the small space of time, just as the sun sets...the world shows its true form. Shadows crawl from dark pools that spawn from the ground and sky...Most human's lose themselves in that time, their bodies confined to crystals they are not aware they are imprisoned in. This would seem to be a nightmare, but it's all too real for a group of teenagers...Fate has chosen them to stop the Shadows and the one behind their sudden appearance...before the shadows bleed through from their Twilight Hour prison into the Waking world...

Rules :No Fool/The World Arcana. Too easy to god mod. One Arcana per person and please know what your arcana means.
You may pick a Persona that isn't in the (absurdly long) List of persona's as long as you have a picture that can go with it.
Please rp on a professional lvl. If you want Romance i don't mind at all. When action happens, we'll decide who gets to control the monsters (If someone's particularly good at that then you can volunteer) Though I would like to control the bosses.
Also WE WILL ALL BE IN THE SAME CLASS. (sorry its to make it easier)
You get to choose your starting weaknesses and strengths. I'll have final say if you're too op, (I sugest to balance it if you resist one you have to be weak to one, if you Null one you have to have 2 weaknesses, and if you reflect/absorb one you have to have 3 weaknesses. At least at START. as you grow (eventually) you can Ascend and get some nulls and reflects if the RP goes on that long

Clubs/Occupation: Kimiko is a member of the Archery club, She also volunteers at the nurses office. Her family owns the local Shrine so she attends there when not at school.

Personality: Kimiko is a soft spoken girl who tends to want everyone to be in a good mood. She has a weakness for cute things and is known to stop whatever she's doing if she spots something adorable and fluffy. She has aspirations of becoming a Doctor when she grows up, even though it would take quite a lot of work. Kimiko has an unrealistic hope that one day the knight of her dreams will whisk her up off her feat and make her life not so lonely...She often finds comfort in books rather than with other people, as her good grades seem to intimidate more than attract. Maybe this year she'll make more friends like her Mother is always pushing her to.

History: Kimiko was raised by a loving family. Her mother and father lived happily together, her mother's family owning the small shrine on the outskirts of the town. Trained in the ways of the Shrine Maiden since she was little, Kimiko always adored learning about ancient mythology and the various rituals and customs that her ancestors once practiced. When she was 13 her father grew ill. Her mother called every doctor they could, but none could figure the strange illness that beget her father. They tried multiple treatments but soon it was clear that nothing could be done...her father past quietly one evening in the comfort of their home, with his family surrounding him. Though it hit Kimiko hard to loose her father...she tries her hardest to solider on, and keep her Mother's spirits high. She studies hard to become a doctor to prevent anyone else she cares for from getting sick...though its an unreasonable goal. Kimiko studies hard even on breaks in class to make sure she gets top grades...the highest she can...Though sometimes when she's all alone...she wishes she had some company...

Personality: Samara has a way of appearing somewhat fickle without meaning to. She has a hard time making decisions, especially if that decision will affect the rest of her surroundings. She's a popular girl, always surrounded by friends and seeming to enjoy the company. She smiles a lot and rarely has anything negative to say about anyone. She seems to grow uncomfortable if she spends too much time alone. She's not the sharpest when it comes to book smarts or even common sense in some cases, and she tends to be way too trusting. She makes friends easily and once she considers you a friend she's loyal to the core.

History: Samara grew up never knowing her mother, having abandoned both her and her father shortly after she was born. Her father tried his best to make up for what her mother had done and never allowed his daughter to want for anything, even when that anything was beyond his means. As she grew older he began to spend more time working, sometimes growing ill from exhaustion. It wasn't until Samara was older that she began to notice and pleaded with her father to slow down. She agreed to help in the shop and assured him that she no longer needed him to work so hard to care for her. She found herself enjoying the time that she spent at her fathers gift shop and her being there seemed to attract more buyers. The shop was modest but profitable, until a noodle shop was opened next door, popularity blossomed and the shop grew even more. Her father hired an assistant to help on the days that Samara attended school, giving her the opportunity to try for the student council. Many of her friends pushed her to run for presidency but she didn't think she was bright enough for that, she was put in charge of student events for dance committee, fundraisers, and other useful functions.

Personality: Silus is usually very sure of himself, confident and outspoken; though this side of him is now rather hidden due to him still not having the greatest grasp on the Japanese language. He is often found off by himself, reading or attempting to get a greater grasp of the language of the country he now lives in. He is always holding his tongue now to ensure he doesn’t screw up the language and despite his two months in the country already.

History: Silus was born in London, England. He was always surrounded by men in suits and women that weren’t his mother raising him. He always felt detached from the world and was always wondering about his father’s apartment, looking for something to do. He was always intended to be raised to become his father heir, to take over the family business…in other words forcibly taking over companies that were struggling. He came to realize that this was his fate and just accepted it. Until…his father passed away. Now taken in by one of his father’s business associates in japan…Silus is set upon making something of himself that isn’t in his fathers shadow.

Personality: On the outside, he seems light-hearted and upbeat, but in truth, he's bitter and angry towards anyone that even tries to get close to him.

History: Born into a Senator's family, Shotaro lived a spoiled life for his first four years. However, his Father, the Senator, lost his position once he was framed for leaking government information. The once prideful senator was reduced to a man who was driven to edge of madness, trying to regain what he lost. Eventually, he managed to accumulate a large sum of wealth, but not only did he rarely use it, but in the process of obtaining it, the father neglected his son.

Shotaro grew to hate his father, and his hatred would only grow at the sight of him hoarding such a large amount of money, instead of using to pay off their debts. Shotaro took up Kendo to channel this anger, but it did little to help. When his father died without helping Shotaro and his mother once, he fell into a great despair. What he saw in his father was a man who tried to take back his riches even to the end of his own life. He never noticed that their debts had been settled, and that his tuition for school and college was already prepared.

To keep his feelings about the Past a secret, Shotaro hid his true feelings behind a masquerade. Due to experience from past schools, he had grown to distrust those who got close to him, out of suspicion that they would use his past to bully him.

No problem. The high physical moves are from the wiki page, and he comes at a high level, so it makes sense that he's OP. I'll change it up to make it reasonable.

Clubs/Occupation: Leader of a school gang (I'll work on a name after I know the name of the school)
Personality: Makoto is easily angered and annoyed. She is also rude, arrogant, and cautious. One of her stronger points is protecting the members of her gang.
History: Born and raised in the Middle class, Makoto had potential to live a boring, mundane life. Unfortunately, bullies tend to change things up. She and her best friend were casual targets of bullying. At first, it was just name-calling and insults, but as they got older, bullies began to physically abuse them. Being the stronger of the two, Makoto took most of the hits, trying to defend her best friend. One day, however, Makoto's friend was found by the bullies when Makoto wasn't around. They took it too far, and she was put in a hospital after someone found her unconscious body. When Makoto went to see her, her best friend was in comatose.
Makoto was enraged. Simple bullies had hurt her best friend so badly, and yet they couldn't be punished, because no one witnessed them hurting her. She wanted to get revenge, but she knew she wouldn't stand a chance at fighting them, but then a chance arrived, when her parents got her into martial arts, in fear of the same thing happening to her. She excelled in wielding Tonfa, and after enough time had passed, she had gained the ability to fight back.
A day later, and she returned with several cuts and bruises, though it was nothing compared to the bones of the bullies that she broke. She was placed in trouble, and had to switch to another school. Across the years, her reputation as a delinquent grew larger and larger with every act. She wanted to make sure no one at any school she was at would suffer the same fate as her friend's, and being the toughest was the best way to do that.

Clubs/Occupation: On and off member of the school photography club and school newspaper, volunteers at a local animal rescue shelter, works part-time as a concierge and receptionist at his uncle's filling station/motel.

Personality: Kiiro takes life, and it's challenges, as they come. At a passing glance he appears to be nothing more than a leaf on the wind, nonchalantly going about about everything-- day by day activities and major life events-- with an extremely free spirited attitude. Formerly a flower child, these aspects of his past show in his strategic avoidance of conflict, commitment, and any other stressor presented to him. Certainly, this obvious airy persona is a part of who Kiiro is, but it's not mindless. He is an individual almost completely consumed by memories of his past and thoughts of the present and future, always considering possibilities. Some would call him a "space cadet," he prefers aloof, with a good, albeit erratic, work ethic.

History: Until about 9 years ago, Kiiro's life was perfect. He lived with a single mother who had been entirely dedicated to the "free love" and "counter-culture" movement's of the 70s, she was the kind of hippie other hippies strive to be, and despite making questionable (and occasionally downright illegal) decisions as a parent, the two were perfect for each other. They moved from hospices and communes in Japan as years passed, Kiiro's formative education consisted primarily of things he picked up with his mother in their travels, he didn't completely understand basic mathematical concepts or 'get' how to read until he was 10, but by the time he was 5 he could live off the land like a pro and already understood complex animal, plant and fungi identification.

In all honesty, with some of the places they went and some of the things his mother did, they were lucky to have ever been together.

One day, when he was 8, that luck ran out.

What were basically hundreds of minor offenses like loitering, trespassing and shoplifting, coupled with more major drug related and "child abuse" offenses all came down on Kiiro's mother. Early in the morning, before the young boy could even process what was going on, she was taken away. His mother crying in the back of the police cruiser, saying how much she loved him, was the last time he saw her.

With this, Kiiro became a ward of the system. He was thrown from relative to relative, until at the age of 9 he found a fit with one of his uncles. The brother of a father who had died before his child could be born. Uncle Ozo the bozo Kiiro would call him, the man was short, stout and nearly hairless, he was a strict guardian, whose conservative ideals often clashed with what Kiiro had come to accept about life as he grew up. Kiiro still doesn't entirely agree with the man, but an uneasy love has formed between child and guardian. Ozo means well, he believes family is all there is and that a man should have a good work ethic, certainly, it's almost entirely due to Ozo's guidance that Kiiro was able to catch up in school-- and his ability to continue doing well while being a somewhat active member of two clubs, a regular volunteer, maintain his familial duties at the Sayuri motel and gas station and find time for friends... or cloud staring.

Personality: Seclusive, bland, rude, and intelligent.

History: Hazama was born in a "cursed" family. For some reason, all in his family die at a young age. Most of the time they die before age 40. For that reason, his family traditionally passes on as much knowledge as possible to their next generation. For this reason, Hazama was able to learn much and skip grades. Life wasn't really that bad for Hazama. His family was fine financially, he absorbed the knowledge provided by his family, and he didn't seem to have a problem with the "curse."

The only problem that could be found with Hazama, was his disinterest with Death. He had experienced loved ones dying over and over, and eventually, he just came to accept it. If a person was reported dead, then he wouldn't stand in disbelief or shock, he would just move on. What's stranger is that he would accept death on any terms.

Deep down inside him, he refuses to acknowledge, he actually does care about the deaths of everyone around him. He feels alone, for everyone in his family will die young, and people fear him for his curse.
