[IC] Gladiators (Reboot)

Alara tried his best not to look at the man as he scrapped the oil and dirt from the first section of the bath he took what he scraped off and place it in his bucket, wanting to get the off his hands as fast as possible. It didn't take long until the young man walked away and jumped into the waters of the public bath and waded over to a group of other young men and began talk, eyeing alara every minute or two, it made him feel guilty. He sighed as he walked over to the next person and was slapped as he noticed it was a woman, they didn't like when he treated them. His hands clenched but he let it go, he was in enough trouble as it was for forgetting to clean the bath last week, as if it would change the green tint anyway. Alara looked around as at the people, only to look away in disgust, no matter how long he worked there he would never get used to naked men all about. As he began to clean the floors Alara heard the words he never wanted to hear again. It was a small grunt but he knew what it meant. HE took in a large gulp and closed his eyes as he ran into the restroom and grabbed the stick and threw it into the vinegar tub. He wasn't allowed his gloved anymore but he suck them in anyway, he was cleaning peoples waste off a sponge could anyone blame him.

After the day's work at the bath house, he dawned upon his night apparel, and took his arsenal and headed to the arena. As he sat in his side he rolled a dye with animal faces instead of numbers, it landed on a persons face.

"I hope these die are wrong for once:" he said and he looked around

As the gate opened, Alara stepped out into the sand pits ready for his new foe, the crowd was loud and scared him at first but he calmed himself the light took a moment to adapt to and his skin felt beaten down by the dry heat around him, still he raised his shied forward and his club shortly behind it.

Okeano stood in the stands her brown eyes focusing on the man who just stepped out into the ring. The Greek girl still didn't like being a gladiator but she was both fears for her fierceness in battle but also respected for her talents in blacksmithing. She grasped at the chain necklace around her neck something that her father had given her for her birthday years ago.

Urbi and the rest of the Maximus's gladiators were inside a room with a huge iron bars from where they could watch the fight.
"Come on Alara, you can do it" Urbi said to herself, if Alara was defeated, and obviously died, she would be the next to fight.
Urbi then looked at the others, they seemed scared "Relax...He can do it" Urbi said to calm them dowm

Gangral banged on the bars of the viewing room cheering, piss drunk. The fights always had him in high spirits, and mixed with booze, made him nearly insufferable. "Alara! Is put the man to his grave! BE THE BRAVE!" slurred Gangral in his broken Latin. He slammed against the bars again, teetered to one side, and collapsed laughing. The other gladiators drew back from his drunken shenanigans.

His opponent swaggered out of his side with a smirk on his face and a skip to his step, he carried a large yet thin sword by his side that would have touched the ground if the man weren't as tall as he seemed. His long greasy orange hair seemed as unkempt and raunchy as possible. Withdrawing his bastard sword the man placed it haphazardly in front of himself with his arms slightly bent showing his muscles that bulged. Alara smiled, the man had expenses his speed for strength his teacher's must have been worse than he anticipated. beginning to edge towards the man he was surprised by a sudden rush as the man charged him with a stab. managing to parry with his sheild and smashing into the man's stomach. He noticed the man's neglect of the movement, despite his bare chest. Jumping back he flung the sharp shards of glass and clay that managed to distract the man to let him club the giant in the side and push kick him away as to stagger. Now wailing on the man's chest as to weaken the foe h found it easy to dodge the strange metaled sword as the man was easily predictable. Now more confident than ever Alara trapped the man's knee with his foot and smashed him over the head with a smile as he did so.

"looks like all brawn and no brain makes even a pipsqueak a wor-" he said cut off by a punch to the gut.

The red headed gladiator proceeded to grab down on his chest plate and smash alara hard into the ground. Grunting as alara began to get up he kicked him hard in the ribs sending him skidding across the sand. As the giant walked confidently towards the sumerian he was smashed in the knee again by a small club. As the foe buckled down he reserved a severe smashing on both sides of his head, hitting the temple with each blow. Finally growing fatigued Alara paused and watched the bleeding man fall to the ground. The crowd cheered as Alara walked back to his school. He covered his arm as he noticed he has been cut more timed than he had seen.

"Kali douleia, Alara!" Okeano said to Alara. She was smiling. Her short black hair made her brown eyes stand out.

"Yay! He did it!" Urbi cheered and hugged Okeano, then realized what she did and steped back embarrassed "sorry.." She said and then looked at Alara who was getting closer-
"Good job! tonight's wine is on me!"

[Dad]

Gangral perked up at the mention of wine. "Yes! With the drinking friends!" he said as he obnoxiously slumped into Urbi.

"Gah! No more wine for you!" Urbi yelled at Gangral and then pushed him away
"You are drunk already!"

"all the more reason for him to drink, maybe he'll learn from his hang over this time" Alara managed before sitting on the ground and weezing hard. "that guy's got one hell of an punch" alara exclaimed before inspecting his stomach from underneath his leather chest plate. Bruising would come in lightly but in a large area. his arm was merely scratched compared to any real damage but it stung like a nest of hornets and the sand moving in the air didn't help his case much.

Nathan sat above the main group in his leather bindings as he requested he drank light amounts of Wine preferring it to the dirty water that was everywhere. Soon it would be his turn he hoped for a simple combat and not a large beast those never really ended well. He had watched the fight and he had seen flaws in alara combat style But neither the less it was quite a amazing fight he wasn't excattly crowd favorite but he was a reliable person to bet on. so they had a good chance of winning money off him. Nathan crawled down to sit beside the others wanting to get a better look at who was in his Prison er school.

"Still Alara kali douleia! That was super great!" Okeano said smiling her spiky hair had fallen to cover her eye. Her sword was strapped to her back.

The people was crazy with Alara's performance but even so they wanted mor blood "MORE!! MORE!! MORE!!" The people shouted, they wanted to see blood and Mazimus was reading to give them more blood, he looked at Urbi and Nathan "Go give them a good show too".
Urbi took her scimitar and net and walked outside, her armor was...not even an armor, some kind of thong and a see-through cloth covering her big chest
"I can't get used to these clothes..." Urbi complained now inside the arena

Gangral couldn't decide if the Greek girl was speaking absolute gibberish or if he was just too drunk to comprehend anything anymore. He decided that it was probably both, grabbed another container of wine, and dumped it over his face. Some of it made it to his mouth, but most of it collected in the growing wine puddle beneath his feet. He turned his attention back to Urbi and Nathan entering the arena, particularly admiring Urbi's outfit. He looked back at Okeano.

"I am thinking you are needing the outfit as well!" Gangral jested with a hearty laugh. He playfully but roughly slugged Okeano on the shoulder as a goodnatured gesture.

"I think I'll were it too, that way the girls don't feel so indifferent" the boy said looking irubi over before grabbing a gourd of wine and slinging in to cover his nose and upper lip. A smile it his face as he let it down and the pain in his arm and chest left his body. The thoughts of returning to the bath houses were gone all he could think of were his training mates and the dress urbi wore, he now understood the beauty behind it. "you this fighting thing isn't so bad, this chicks dig it, I dig it, and we get awesome people like you guys" Alara said before grabbing another gourd. He as a complete lightweight and it showed, but his obsession over wine was much more powerful. "and e get this stuff"

Nathan had kept into the arena. His eyes almost emotionless his leather clothes would protect him from brunt attacks but he was still cautious. He had his head held high he didn't believe in this blood sport but it kept him alive so that was all.

The gates opened, the creatures waiting in the shadows were no less than two hungry tigers waiting for fresh meat.
Even the Emperor stood up from his chair and cheered.
Urbi looked at Nathan and then rushed towards the tigers

"Eto den! By the gods I will never where something like that every! I'll stick to my armor." Okeano snapped at Gangral rolling her eyes. "Yea I agree with you Alara." She said as she turned her attention to the match. "Go Urbi and Nathan!!" She cheered.

Nathan stayed back a tiger was a disaster if one ran for it he stood his ground and waited for the tigers to tire he would not injure himself for the crowds enjoyment

Urbi was running towards the tigers, they did not hold back and ran towards Urbi too, Urbi had watched many tigers figths before and knew how their first movement would be, when they were just 2 meters of distance from each other the tigers jumped, Urbi rolled under the tigers and took the chance to make a big cut on one of the tiger's stomach, however it was obvioisly not enough to kil the biggest feline in the world. Now behind the tigers Urbi prepared for the next move.
