[IC] Making a stand (Lord&Winter)

Drake almost moved forward if it wasn't for the hand on his shoulders. One of his men telling him that now is not the right time. He nods as he knew that they wouldn't be ready for a week. He sighs as he silently swears to Roxy that he will end this all and that she will be happy.

Roxy glared at the vampire as she tried to calm little Drake. She didn't dare say a word. She had already spoken out more then she would have. She was lucky that he had struck her and not the child. She wished there was some way to tell Drake everything. She had tried to give him hints at camp, but she hadn't dared say too much. The counselors had watched her every move and without a doubt had been reporting to her father. It seemed like half the world worked for him.

Gregory took little Drake from her arms and handed him to one of his man. "Give the child back to his nurse. His mother has used up her allotted time. She will have to earn more if she wants to see him before the wedding."

Roxy wrapped her arms around herself as the man carried the crying toddler back to the guest house. "Just tell me what you want Gregory."

Drake looked at them. He wondered what the man would want. He didn't want him to have sex with Roxy. He didn't care what he did he would stop it on the spot.

"I want you to submit to me my tough little warrior. I want you to kneel in front of me and promise to obey my every word." Gregory purred. "I want your blood and your body."

Roxy shivered at his words. It wasn't bad enough that he had taken her child from her. He wanted to humiliate her, just so that he could show his men how powerful he was. "You can take my blood. But I know that father asked you to wait to claim me until our wedding. Only on that day will I bow to you."

Gregory smiled at her words. "We will see little warrior. I know your weakness now. And I will use it to break you if I have to." He lowered his head and bite her neck. Roxy whimpered at the pain, but she held still knowing that moving would only make it worse.

Drake tried to hold back everything. He was mad at the vampire, he is just hurting her left and right. Drake sighs as his man whispers in his ear something. He nods and whispers. "They keeping their promise will mean the different in victory or defeat in the coming battle. But before we head to the wedding. We need to get the child out." The man nods as Drake takes one final look at Roxy and looks away as he heads off to follow the man.

Roxy allowed Gregory to guide her back to the house. She knew that fighting would only cause problems. She looked back at the guest house longingly.

(a week later)

Roxy stood in her bedroom staring at the floor. Her father stood against the wall watching her as the wedding planner fussed at her dress. She had tried several times to reach Drake with no success. She was sure her father had found a way to stop her attempts. Time had officially run out. She was getting married in less then an hour.

Drake was standing a good distance as he looked at the building. Guarded from top to bottom. He sighs as a man in armor comes up to him. "Is the boy safe?" The warrior nods as Drake smiles. "Good. How long ago?"

"Not but 10 minutes ago Acaras. The Vaskirions were the true heros there. But they are coming to help. They will be here shortly hopefully." Replies the Vaskirion Soldier as Drake nods.

"Good. We will need their help with getting in. We have less then an hour to get in and crash this party." The Vaskirion nods as Drake tries to get his helmet on to no avail. "Been too long... help me out with this?" He nods as he was helped as the armor clicks and locks. Vaskirion armor, toughest stuff but only his kind could use the stuff. "Let's Operation Wedding Crashing. Begin. I need to get inside before the man asks for whole objects..."

As he says it he can spot men moving in quietly as they try to take the place slowly. Drake nods and he a off with the armored Vaskirion for help.

Roxy drug her feet as the wedding march began to play. She wanted to run for it but her father had little Drake under armed guard. One wrong move from her and her baby would be hurt. She was dress in white. Which she hated. She had never worn white and if she never saw white she could die a happy woman.

"Stop dragging your feet." her father snapped as he dug his fingers into her arm. "You screw this up and I will make that boy of yours suffer"

With a sigh she gave in and walked down the aisle. She didn't bother look at the crowd. No one she knew would be here. She winced as Gregory yanked her to him. He held her against him as if afraid that she would run. Which she would if she had the slightest chance. "If anyone objects let them speak now or forever hold their peace."

Drake neared the doors as he and his Vaskirion ally looked at eachother. His men were just cleaning up whatever remained of the forces as he nods to the Warrior. "Ready for this?" The warrior nods as they both kick in the double doors to the Chapel.

Drakes moves up between the aisle and speaks out. "I object!"

Drake!" Roxy Wouk have ran towards him if she had a chance. But Gregory sank his nails into her arm. A reminder that she hated but she needed. With a sigh of regret she returned to her place. "You don't knw what your doing." She hated that he was here to witness her losing what little freedom she had. But at least she got to say goodbye to the one person in the world who treated like she human.

Drake smiles. "Roxy. Drake's fine. Now..." He quickly pulls out a gun from off his arm and aims it at the vampire. "Game over."

"Drake...?" He couldn't possible mean their child could her. She bite her lip uncertainly. She looked from her father to Gregory. How could he have not only gotten her in time but saved their child too? "How...?" Had one of her attempts to contact him finally gotten through? Drake had never lied to her before. But how had he gotten through both her fathers men and Gregory's men?

"There is no way you got to the child." The vampire growl as he pulled her in to position to use her as a shield. "We have him too well guarded."

Drake smiles and chuckles as something can be heard in the sky. "I'm not the only one..." *Something breaks through the ceiling and lands next to him. Then another and another till about 5 of the Vaskirions stand with him. "Your clearly unmatched Vampire. Let her go and you won't die..."

"Do you think those creatures are stronger then a vampire lord and his nest?" Gregory asked in disbelief as he lowered his head to Roxy's neck. "I can see how they would be able to get past the puny humans. But they can not possible beat me and my nest. Especially since I have something you want."

Roxy stared at the man she trusted more then anything. She was terrified that he had gotten in over his head. She needed to know that she could fight back. "I need to know that you know what your doing."

Drake smiles. "It's not us that you should be worried about either..." The Vampire would feel something go onto his chest and shove inwards more. "But the Vampire hunter behind you... Thank you Caspirion for saving our boy." The figure behind the vampire nods as he shoves inward more. He speaks out. "That will be number... 300 I think in my lifetime?" The blade would be made out of silver and gold. "Met my Vampire hunting blade... the Vampiric Blade.."

"Do you know what you have done?" Roxy asked. She was surprise to see Drake connected to the creatures that surrounded him and a vampire slayer. Her body shook with fear and excitement. Didn't know if he realized what he was endangering by doing this. Would he risk there child if he knew? She didn't think so. Not give what she knew of his past. "I'm not worth the cost Drake. Please stop before its too late."

Drake looks at her. "What are you talking about Roxy?" Caspirion held his blade in the vampire. Not pulling out just yet.

Roxy closed her eyes. She hadn't wanted to tell him like this but she didn't see that she had a choose. She opened her eyes and looked at him. "You have a son Drake. You have to believe I tried to contact you. Father has him surrounded by vampires and armed guard. If you kill Gregory they will do a lot worse then kill our child." she warned him. She watched him closely for signs of horror and disappointment.
