Nero had FINALLY made it to the quest registry. As he got closer he noticed four people already there. A hot girl, he decided to nickname Knives, a katana wielding big man he decided to call Zin Zhao, a strong looking African American with a hammer he decided to call Tallahassee, and a very quiet guy he decided to call Albert, it just fit you know. He walked confidently two Rd the group of people and decided to introduce him self or have some fun. " Well hello there, my name is Nero and I will be your chef, for air fist meal we will be having a Happy Meal from the near by McDonald's, would you please follow me". Nero decided to add in a bow just for short measure.

Roxy laughed she ignored his question about why she had given the smith the application he requested. She wasn't anyone's servant. But that didn't mean that she was going to be rude. Besides I can hide my knives when I have to. You can't hide your katana. Which means there will be times you will be without it."

He rolled his shoulders back stretching and letting the leather jacket fall to the ground revealing his muscular frame. He pulled the katana from its sheath and held the gleaming silver blade in the sunlight. "It will be a very cold day in hell before anyone separates this weapon from me. My master believed that a warrior's soul was contained inside his weapon. He taught me to never let this sword be taken and I will not stray from his teachings now" he said. Spinning the blade he sheathed it like he had done thousands of times before. Kicking his jacket back up he caught it and draped it over his shoulders again.

As he finished his demonstration a boy walked off as the blacksmith walked away. "well im not going to be escorted anywhere but I will take some food." The boy finished his performance with a flourish and bow. "you know kid I like you you've got style your one of the two interesting people ive met here all day." his eyes shot over to Roxy where the lingered for a second "The first has definitely caught my attention."

Braen took this conversation on weapons as a chance to gain some points "Well true, but that Katana would have more reach and killing power. Allowing him more safely and efficiently kill enemies that knives may not pull off".

Braen spoke up and reiterated his earlier point. "you are correct but id have to get close to those enemies. All in all im more suited to be a duelist and she is more suited to be an assassin. While we are both skilled warriors if I get close its over, but at the same time if she sticks me with a knife then im dead." Adrian said.

"Welcome one and all to the quest to become an all powerful God or Goddess. We would like everyone to gather in the main area please. We will go over the rules of the quest you are about to begin." A voice announced through speakers placed throughout the festival.

"Well that's our que, Zin Zhao, Albert Tallahassee, Knives let's us enter". Nero strolled ahead , he was able to get to know what he would be dealing with when it cam down to Zin Zhao A.K.A Adrian.
"1 down 3 more to go".

Far above the festival, two figures in a helicopter were observing the crowd below. A man in a flight suit adjusted the last few straps for a girl wearing a parachute.

"You sure know how to make an entrance, kid."

"Damn right I do. I figure I might as well start showing I'm number one from the very start."

The girl gave her instructor a thumbs-up and turned to look out the open door.

"A contest to become a god. Never thought I'd get to try something this wild."

"Well, kid, you're cut out for it. Good luck to ya."

"This isn't about luck... but thanks."

With a wink, she jumped from the chopper with the easy confidence of a career daredevil.

Lisa Costello, the queen of the extreme, champion of Victoria Invicta, was about to face the greatest competition of all time.

Upon hearing the announcer Braen nodded to the others and said "That seems to be our cue" before he started walking towards the main area.

Nero lagged behind, he already didn't like most of his competitors, be decided it would be best to lay low and let that fight amongst them selves, or until an alliance agreement came his. He got up and followed the group towards the main festival pavilion, (he really hoped that he would get paid)

Roxy shook her head. This was going to be an interesting quest. She wasn't sure about her competitors. Where they competitors if they were trying for different Gods and Goddesses? She supposed that the officials would explain what they were to do soon enough. She waited until most of the others were gone before heading in the direction of the main event. She couldn't wait for this challenge. No matter what her life would change forever after today.

Adrian stood beside Roxy until the others left. Finally as she began to walk to the event he walked beside her and said in a low tone "If this is combat based I figure we have the best chance. I can keep them away from you while you take them out. Just make sure not to put a knife in my back eh" he said winking. He straightened up and walked beside her with his sardonic smile.

Roxy snorted. "I won't stab you in the back." she promised. "I want you to see my blades coming. I don't know what kind of challenges we will face. I am sure there will be some fighting. But there will be other challenges. They will want to test us completely. They would want the person who takes a God or Goddess' place to be un able to handle the job." she pointed out as she slowly made her way to the main square.

Nero got to the pavilion first and took a seat. He really wanted to pat attention to this.

Caspian decided to take a seat in the corner back of the room, to be able to avoid any more confrontation from the other competitors.

Astrid slipped in and found a seat in the back, as the parachuting Lisa touched down in front of the tent.

"Aw, they're all inside? Some grand entrance that was."

Vex was already seated in the front of the room with her arms and legs crossed, she had been here for the past few hours in this same position, she had already signed up long before the others appeared, she really didn't care about the others, at least not yet she did. And right on time the other competitors started to enter the enter the room.

"The quest that will begin today will challenge all of you. You will be tested mentally, physically, and spiritually. You will make allies and rivalries." The prophets decreed over the PA system. "You are not allow kill each other and we would strongly to suggest that you do not injure each other. You never know when you might need each other. This quest will not be easy. Many of you will fail but a few of you will access to greatness. You will have to create the God or Goddess you wished to be come. Your first challenge is to capture and tame an animal companion." The prophets announced. "For some this will be easy for others it will be difficult. You must all travel together. You can help or hamper each other as much as you want. Please line up to recieve your funding."

"YESS thank you Lord Jesus I was waiting for this moment". Caspian almost ran up just to get in line first to receive the money he had been hoping for.
