That's the old empire Cale. I could be wrong. But I think it underwent reformation during those eras. This is, at least 400 years ahead of the events that took place in Morowind. Maybe even more but I'm unsure, however as I said there's nothing stopping you from using the rank. And Dragonsbane is just the group that everyone here is apart of. (Except a few) Basically filling in the dragonborns boots.Their aim essentially the same. To kill Alduin and end the dragon threat. It requires little knowledge from the actual game.

Ah, yes, Alduin. Yes, a great evil thing threatens our peoples way of life. Tyberrius wants people free to choose their own paths and to live happy. He has fought all his life against the evils of the land, and this one man could become stronger than all empires within days. It takes a hundred soldiers, if not more, to capture a town or Keep, but it only takes one dragon to burn it all down. Tyberrius wants this threat extinguished, like the Daedra he has killed.

Jolly good :P
Anyway. You're approved.
You may post whenever you feel like it. However please read through all the Cs' and the IC. Just so you get a grip where everything is.
And on another note. This is another person whom will dislike Valerion.
Brilliant -_-"
I'm becoming very popular.

200 years actually. If my TES lore is correct, an era ends whenever something significant happens instead of it based on a period of time. For example, 1E lasted for 13 centuries while the 3E only lasted for five centuries. The Skyrim Civil War and the Return of the World-Eater takes place in the 201st year of the 4th Era so yeah, 200 or so years.

*Lazily raises his head up and opens one eye from beneath the blanket.*

Is.. Is it morning already? Ah shit... I slept in. Well, I am here.

I will ask, but do you care if I offer my knowledge to the situation at hand? I know it is already resolved, but I might be able to offer more solid closure.

Are you implying that the Vigilants aren't doing a very good job?

Yes, the counter has ticked to 200 years. Now, as to resolve with a definite answer to the Legion Ranks.

The First empire ran with the Ranks you listed Cale, using a mash-up of Roman and European-Medieval Kingdom ranks to define their troops. However after the fall of the first empire and after the events of Jagar Thorn, the Empire rebuilt to alienate magic from it's ranks and abolished the European-Medieval ranks, leaving the lone style of Roman to bolster it's regime.

They are as follow:

-Recruit
-Legionnaire
-Captain
-Commander
-Legate
-General

Now, there are certain sub-sects and special diversions of the Imperial troops, those are:

-Imperial Archers
-Imperial Horsemen/Cavalry
-Torturers
-Penitus Occulatus

The Empire, after it's first fall, cut it's ranks design down to simplify everything, but in turn made it more efficient among the ranks of it's men and women.

Tyberrius knows not of these Vigilants, he's been fighting for the Imperials the whole time. However, if he does know them, it wouldn't matter; he wants to join the fight.

Something is always threatening the world. If it happens in his life time he wants to help stop it

Oh, Tyberrius is going to want to personally kill Valerion. Will he? I don't know. Want? Don't let Tyberrius know Valerio murdered someone for no reason

Oh, also, I'm going to show you which route the company has taken from Ivarstead to Kynesgrove:
http://skyrim.coolaps.com/?lang=en&mid=250 Interactive map of Skyrim - very useful!

So, if you leave all the keys on the map, you can work out which path they've taken:

Ivarstead to Shroud Hearth Barrow: 1 Day
SHB to Darkwater Pass: 3 Days
Darkwater Pass to Eastern Bridge: 1 Day
Eastern Bridge to Atronach Stone: 1 Day
Atronach Stone to Eldergleam Sanctuary: 2 days (going through the river) or 3 days (going around the river)
ES to Bownstrew Crest (Although a dragon roosting spot, we won't be having a dragon there yet): 2 days
BC to Witchmist Grove: 2-3 Days.
Witchmist Grove to Kynesgrove: 1 Day
Kynesgrove to Burial Site: 1-2 Days.

This is including time spent resting, hunting for food, cooking food, sleeping, drinking, and fighting enemies.
Also, the map makers and just being used for reference - the entering of these areas will not take place, so your characters can actually visit them in real-time, and not just in the timeskip. Our group will be resting and camping by rivers and creeks, in cleared out caves (Not deep ones; just the hollows of rock you find bears and such in), and unmarked abandoned houses or shacks, etc.

So, hope this helps out!

Okay, so with the group, we have:
Rozalia - Young thief girl.
Nikolaus - Diplomatic warrior.
Leonidas - Self-proclaimed casanova, and eccentric - but genius - inventor.
Dreet-Na - Argonian Mage
Rawlith-Dar - Lycan Khajiit Warrior
Valerion - Undead Necromancer warrior.
Dura - Vampire She-Orc
Haserus - Famous arrogant Redguard warrior
Saasi - Mysterious Redguard she-warrior

These are currently our Dovahfeyn. We've got two Vigilants on our tail thought - Falrielle and Gideon. The remainder of the characters I haven't mentioned just haven't joined the group yet, or are being introduced at a later date.
Delphine is an NPC, and is just coming with us to Kynesgrove - from then, she'll just be chilling with Esbern in that old Blades place.

Hope that helps! Oh, and in terms of who's travelling with who once the group splits, we're still deciding. It's your choice anyways.

Who wants to travel with DovahKat? O3O He doesn't discriminate, warm, fuzzy, Khaj-snuggles for everyone!

Side-note:(Don't judge me. It is perfectly fine for a 19 year old to act ten about cats. XD Especially when they walk, talk, and murder Dragons.)

Maybe Roze could journey with Rawlith? She was at first going to go with Vincent, but he's buggered off. I think they could make a good team.
