Andre put the fish back in the water, pushing water into The Monster's mouth so he had oxygen. After a moment, the tiger muskie swam slowly away, ignoring his hand.

Sam watched the beat swim away. "I guess he or she is saying it respects us for catching it." She said with a smile and her arms crossed. "And I am not going back in that lake with that thing in there ever again." She said as she walked to go get her jacket.

Andre got it for her. They were both soaked from the ordeal. "We've got time to kill," he said. "And luckily we have a fireplace in the cabin. Hot cocoa sound okay?"

"Yeah and thankfully I am wearing my swimsuit." She said with a smile and thanked him for grabbing her jacket and found her shorts and shirt. "But a warm fire and cocoa sounds good right now." She said as she shook some water out of her hair.

Andre blushed, averting his eyes, and went inside to get the fire going.

Sammy followed him inside and sat on the floor not wanting to get the furniture wet at all. "GOod thing the cabin is near the lake huh makes life easier."

"Yup," Andre agreed. As the fire blazed he made the cocoa, adding marshmallows and whipped cream.

Sam sat next to the fire and enjoyed its warmth. "Man what a crazy adventure for the both of us."

"I know," Andre said, coming back with the cocoa. He handed Sam a mug and offered her a blanket.

Sam thanked him for the hot cocoa and smiled at him and thanked him for the blanket. "This is really nice." She said enjoying the moment as she sipped her drink.

"Yeah," Andre said, and drank. "On rainy nights out here, it's nice. The rain on the roof, hot cocoa and blankets, people you love around."

"Wow that really sounds nice." Sam said with a smile as she enjoyed the fire. "I am glad we got to do this."

"Yeah," said Andre. He sighed. "Are you feeling better? Y'know, about moving in with us?"

"It gets better little by little everyday some days I just wonder what is going on and also wonder why I am here and other days I am just really happy." Sam said as she kept sipping her hot cocoa.

"You sound pretty philosophical under that piss-me-off-I-keel-you exterior," Andre noted, smiling.

"Well sometimes I like spreading fear to other its one of the few ways to get people to leave me alone especially people who don't try to get to know me and judge my by my exterior." Sammy said as she sighed. "Sometimes I preferred being feared over having people like me it saved me from getting hurt again."

Andre was silent for a moment. "I'm glad I know the real you then," he said. "You're kind, funny, and... well, kinda amazing under that icy shell."

Sam laughed a little when he said that. "That is because you were the only one that tried while other give up as soon as they see me." She said with a smile. "Also don't forget about great at catching fish with my bare hands."

Andre laughed. "Well, I can honestly say you're the closest thing to a man's woman as possible," he said. "I think under Bro Code rule 18, you've proven yourself to be bro material."

Sammy laughed a little. "Bro Code...what is this bro code and how come I never heard of it before." She said as she cuddled up in the blanket more.
