"Thank you, Sammy," Andre's mother said. She gave her a kiss on the forehead. "Looks like he isn't letting you go. You can sleep down here tonight. I'll call the school." She went back upstairs.

"Alright then and you get some rest and sleep also ma'am you look really worn out." Sam said worried about her also. She knew Andre will not let go of her at all and she was ok with it and was glad that his mom was ok with her being in his room for the night at least.

Andre murmured something in his sleep, and cuddled closer to Sam, holding her a little tired. It seemed she was going to be his rock.

Sam moved a little so she could lay down at least for her legs were going numb. She then wrapped her arms around him once she got in a comfortable position and soon fell asleep.

When morning came, Andre was awake, but he didn't want to move. The grief from last night had been replaced by numbness.

Sam was still fast asleep and had her arms around him still not wanting to let go of him.

Andre didn't want to get up. He just wanted to stay in Sam's embrace. Maybe being next to her would help him feel something.

Sam after a while woke up and stretched a little. "Man I hate morning." She mumbled and saw Andre looking at her and she hugged him tight. "Morning Andre."

"Morning," Andre said, his voice quiet. He snuggled closer into Sam, almost on her lap. He was acting like a big, sad dog.

Sam hugged him tight and did not let go of him. "I am here for you Andre." She said with a smile and she hugged him more.

"And don't leave me," Andre whispered.

[Fairy Tale Dreamer]

"I won't Andre I promise but I do got to go to the bathroom." Sam said and kissed his lips. "I will be right back I promise." She said as she let go of him and quickly rushed to the restroom. Once she finished in there and washed her hands she came back out and went to Andre.

Andre had crawled into the corner, silent. He only moved to lift the covers up for Sam.

Sam got under the covers and cuddled up to andre and held him tight in her grasp. She kept him close to her knowing that this was going to be a long time before he can at least live a normal life.

Andre rolled over so he was facing Sam. He set his forehead on her chest. "Sam, could you turn the radio on, please?" he asked.

Sam was happy to at least be there for him. She nodded at him as she reached over and turned the radio on for him.

Andre wrapped his arms tightly around Sam's waist. "Thank you," he whispered. He leaned up and kissed Sam's lips.

Sam smiled and kissed him back. "Of course anything for you Andre." Sam said with a smile as she held him close to her.

There was a quiet bark from the floor. Apparently Goliath wanted to be picked up and made the center of attention.

Sammy looked over to see Goliath and picked him up and placed him on the foot of the bed. "There now be quiet and relax or you can cuddle with us." She said to the dog as she went back to cuddling Andre.
