You are both a mutant and a member in a secret society. Please report to the nearest termination booth.

The Computer has assigned you a simple and easily completeable vital task to troubleshoot. Don't trust anyone, they're all- [User Raidne-R-QEN 2 redacted. User Raidne-R-QEN 3 logged on] There may be mutant commie traitors in your midst. Terminate them with extreme prejudice, provided you submit the proper evidence.

Who's with me? It would also be helpful to post your experience with Paranoia. I'm aiming for Classic for those in-the-know.

Small note: This is still mostly experimental. Things may go wrong. I may get bogged down. I'll try really hard not to; and if I do, I'll warn you.

Suggestions (especially regarding how to translate Paranoia from tabletop to the Guild) and questions are certainly welcome.

My Plan:
Character Sheets will be in the OOC. The secret parts of them will either be posted as hiders or PM'd. If they are hiders, don't freakin' click on other people's character sheets!
Dice rolls will be done through some third-party site or app. Possibly orokos.
Perversity Points will be awarded, and will be kept track of in the initial post.
Forms will be made use of.
Likely going to run Mr. Bubbles, unless people have done it before, in which case I'll do (something else).
Frantic brushing up on Paranoia for the next few days. It's been a little while.

It's Paranoia, so this citizen cannot deny that it will not become a total murderfest, nor can he not say he would enjoy it if it did. Because of course, while there might be executions, and accidents, outright murder is treasonous, and no citizen on this troubleshooter team may be treasonous, I reckon. Not that my word is worth much, though.

And yeah, it'd be definitely possible to run most of the game through PMs. A hell of a lot of forum games are run that way. I've even seen a "The Thing" RP run only through PM.

Ah, see, this is why there's more than one way to deal with treason.

For instance:
Excuse me, but I've detected an alarming amount of treason in your sector. For your safety, all guns have now been disabled. Have a pleasant day!

Generally of course, such measures won't be undertaken when player characters are in times of duress.*

Alternatives may include but are not limited to: medicinal corrections, fines, revocation of permissions to use certain assigned equipment, brainscrub, permanent maiming, revocation of permission for certain assigned equipment to exist, demotion to a lower clearance level, Fines, official reprimands multiple permanent maimings, and FINES.
