Yeah I think just jumping right in well allow us to stretch a little easier. I think it might be interesting if we did have one connection say one of your character's and mine. I'm not thinking lovers or siblings but in terms of leadership in the group, it might be beneficial if we had some connection of slight familarity to connect at least two people together so there isn't too much 'head butting' when they do decide to band together. Does that make sense? Is it something you might be open to trying? I figure friends or partners in research or something light but useful to the dynamic might be good to consider.

Well.. how about this: considering the competition is so fierce, it would make sense for people to band together. I think it would be best if it's my mage and your archer/herbalist - two dudes, very disparate skills, it makes a lot of sense for them to collaborate. If my mage ran into your archer/herbalist he'd be pretty amicable to it.

So how about I just cut straight to that point, or the point where the pair run into the third person to join? Then we can have the fourth arrive a post or two later?

I think our two connecting and joining forces would be a good place to start, if we want a post with just them getting introductions out of the way, that works. Then we can add the other half, I'm sure it'll feel natural when we begin and get a feel for the roles/setting.

But it's going to have to be tomorrow. I'm sorry, sincerely sorry, but I'm exhausted, mentally and physically, and creatively just without a spark. Could I grind out some half-ass quick and messy post? Absolutely. Do you deserve better than that? Again, absolutely.

I know I've been promising you this post for a week but this whole jury duty thing has just.. taken me by the throat and tossed me around like a goddamn rag doll. You wouldn't think sitting and listening to people argue all day would be so emotionally exhausting, but it is, for me at least. I want to write, I honestly do, but right now I feel like all I can do is sleep.

When I get home tomorrow I will do my damndest to get the post written before anything else, while I still have some energy left. I mean it. Please don't take this as an expectation of my usual posting - this week has been extremely abnormal for me and it's really made me exceptionally unproductive compared to my usual self.

Don't worry, I know what it's like to need/want to post to someone but getting blocked by life or other issues. Seriously, the more you stress, the more your work and writing might suffer. You deserve some sleep and if you want me to start, I can do it if you'd be comfortable with that. Your emotional sanity is more important than a post. I'm still here, I've waited nearly 3 months for someone to post, I can wait another day or two for you. Intros are tough work.

I understand the week has been unusually hard for you, I'm glad you're keeping me in the loop but go sleep, have some tea, take a bath, you should relax and let whatever inspiration hit you when it wants. I'm not going anywhere...unless I'm abducted by aliens tonight...:/

Thank you for being so very kind and understanding. I feel like a total heel.. I've got to work an 8-hr shift tomorrow but it ought to give me time to think about the post and I should be able to write it when I get home.

I also appreciate the offer of starting - if I haven't gotten it done by Monday I may take you up on that, to be honest..

Awesome, but I thought the plan was your herbalist would be first introduced? It doesn't matter though, bring in whoever you want. Since the time between their introductions will be so short it won't hardly matter who is first.
