Yes, my male herbalist/archer dude! I just thought you wanted my witch because you were introducing your warlock unless i totally read that wrong, in which I better go back to my English class. I had just assumed our similar skilled characters would interact first since they might not carry any bias but then again, our characters shouldn't be too antagonistic against magic/non-magic folks if their grater goal is to find/save someone. I just needed to double check so I'm on the same page since it's been a while since I've been able to review things we discussed. Sorry!

I'm sure there'll be some friction between the magic/non-magic people as time goes on, but right now during the very initial stages it'll be at a minimum and not really a serious consideration.

For one, I'd think all parties would be like 'you may be less than me/think you're better than me but we've got the same goals and we've got a lot of competition so let's be friends for now'. Or something to that effect, anyway.

Also, I love your new signature.. that's such a hypnotizing (and delicious-looking) gif.

And yeah, I just got turned on my head by jury duty and then this new schedule at work.. Ugh. But it's all calmed down, and tomorrow should be a chill day for me, which I'm looking forward to big time.

Ah, the smell of a fresh post in the morning! Haha.. anyway, that's actually a good idea. I'll do a splitscreen in the next post and we can cover the sellsword and witch meeting up, and then the pairs join up on the next day.

Okay! Post is up! Also, to clarify, the sellsword is a petty magician who can do some elemental magic. As I mentioned, magical ability is distributed in a bell curve, so the overwhelming majority of people have some level of magic - those who are totally devoid of it are as rare as those who have incredibly high amounts of inborn magical ability. Whether Devon is one of those unlucky few who really can't do an ounce of magic is up to you - or his could be some kind of esoteric and basically useless magic, like minor illusions, extremely weak teleportation, or the ability to telepathically talk to songbirds.

I just figured that the divide between our two physical-based fighters and our two magic-users would be significant enough even if the former two do have some level of magical ability - to be readily called a 'magic user' would imply one has enough magical energy to actually use a significant number of spells on a daily or near-daily basis, as a wix or mage or warlock would, whereas a petty magician wouldn't.

Also, I figured your witch might be tromping through the forest and happen too close to the sellsword's camp, or she might've been trying to make an approach - that's up to you. Let me know if you had something specific in mind, I can always edit.

I think Devon may have some basic magic powers but only in regards to say healing and the like so no flaming arrows or anything of that sort. I think my witch will be around though i may make her more bubbly since so far everyone seems so guarded and stiff, there needs to be some joy and I think my female can surely bring it. :3
