[IC] The Zodiacs

"It's not your fault. I've found that our...abilities are fueled my our emotions. You'll learn to control them, and this place will get better. I'll see you tomorrow. Goodnight Jimmy." Cowyn said, tucking her in a bit before going to his room, where Gwen was camped out.
"What if this doesn't work?" Gwen asked him, as he laid down next to her.
"It's going to work. They just have to get used to each other. We all do." Cowyn assured her, as they fell asleep.

"good night Cowyn." Jimmy mumbled before falling into a dreamless sleep.

The sun rose outside of the building that had been set up for the Zodiacs. It was a round building allowing the twelve unique individuals some personal space. "Zodiacs breakfast will be served in the dinning room. Just follow the signs."

Jimmy groaned. "Five more minuets." She rolled over and pulled the covers up higher. She had a terrible headache and her insides felt like the were put into a blender than shoved back into.

Gwen had already been awake by the time Alpha called for breakfast. She had found the gym and run about a mile, before going and taking a shower. She had just finished drying her hair when they were summoned so she slipped some pants and a shirt on, following the signs to where the break room was.

Cowyn on the other hand, didn't wake up for a good five minutes until after the initial call was placed. He dragged himself out of bed and to his clothes, putting on the first outfit that resembled something normal before dragging himself to the break room, plopping down next to his sister.

Tyler looked out the door as he hear the announcement. "I wonder what breakfast is?" Tyler walked over the the break room and sat down randomly from two people who looked about the same age. "Hello there Gwen and her brother I'm guessing." He greeted them, when all of a sudden he began laughing uncontrollably. "Oh my god, don't tell me you're both Gemini. That is absolutely hilarious."

"I think you're the first person to laugh at the fact that the Gemini symbol is the Twins, and we're twins. Yes, we're both Gemini. He's Cowyn by the way, and he probably won't speak coherently until about nine o'clock." Gwen said with a smile, as Cowyn flopped forwards.

Liz silently got up for the day. She dressed in a formal type of dress. She didnt know what the rules her but her father insisted that they dress for meals so she did just in case. Then she made her way down the hall. She was thankful for the signs that helped her find her way.

Jimmy's stomach rumbled and she finally dragged herself out of bed. She hissed as she touched the ground-she swore everything in her body was broken. She looked down ans saw bruises all over her body. She moaned as she got up. She slipped on a pair of boxer briefs, a skin-toned sports bra, and some khaki cargo shorts. She put her cigarettes in her pocket and shuffled to the dining room, not even bothering to put on a shirt or socks.

"Jimmy what happened? Did you get into another fight?" Liz hurtiedcivercto the other girl. She placed her hands on Jimmy's arm. She quickly sent her energies into the girl once again. Jimmy would feel the warmth flow through her once again. Slowly her injuries would disappear. Once Jimmy was completely healed Liz would slump against the wall exhausted.

Ace woke up to the sound of the speakers pounding in his eardrums. He shot up in his bed and ran a hand through his dark hair, getting up and slipping on slim cargo pants and a black sweatshirts. He looked himself over in the mirror, snapping his fingers as a small flame appeared. He grinned and winked at himself "I've still go it." He whispered before exiting his room and making his way down the hall, humming quietly while his hands were stuffed in his pockets.

Jimmy cracked her neck. "Thanks Liz." She said realizing she was giving out a lot of thank-yous lately. "But you gotta stop doing that-I'll live. You don't look like you will if you keep this up." She said caressing Liz's cheek.

"I can't stop." Liz told her honestly. "I have to heal the injuried." She smiled shyly at the caress. She wasnt use to people touching her gently. "Healing is tiring. I'll be fine once I have some sugar and test. Don't worry. I've healed worded injuries and still here."

"I think there's coffee-want me to put a shit ton of sugar in it for you?" She asked smiling.

"That would be lovely. Caffine and sugar boost my energies." Liz told her. She struggled to her feet snd slowly made her way into the dinning room. She could get use to this place she really could.

"Hey take it easy Liz." She said putting her arm around her. "I'm not gonna let you get hurt because of me." She said, then remembered yesterday. "Anymore." She mumbled bitterly.

"I'm alright." Liz assured the other girl. "Just tired. I can make it to the table... I think." The dinning table looked further away then it had a minute ago. "Thank you for your help."

Jimmy sighed and picked Liz up bridal style. She gently set her down at the table. "Now stay." She demanded as she walked off to get her a very sugary cup of coffee and a chocolate chip muffin.

"Yes ma'me." Liz replied with a tired smile. It was nice to have someone take care of her. She closed her eyes while she waited. She hoped today would be quieter. Another healing would put her on serious danger of over doing it.

Jimmy sat down next to Liz. She had two cups of coffee-one clearly more bitter than the other-and two muffins. "I wasn't sure whatcha wanted so I just got a muffin." She said as she slid the sweetened coffee and muffin to her. "Take it easy okay?" She said as she bit into her muffin. "You don't have to put everything on the line to help someone, take care of yourself first okay?" She said knowing that Liz was the kind of person who would drain herself before she let someone have a paper-cut.
