Digimon: Royal Knights

In the beginning, Yggdrasil created the Digital World. It was a peaceful realm, inhabited by strange and powerful creatures known as Digimon. As time passed, a virus corrupted some Digimon, and guardians were needed to protect the Digimon who couldn’t protect themselves. So Yggdrasil took a simple Digimon and transformed him into Imperialdramon Paladin Mode. Yggdrasil tasked Imperialdramon to find Digimon worthy enough to be called Royal Knights. Over the course of many years, Imperialdramon Paladin Mode succeeded in finding thirteen Digimon with the courage and ability to become Royal Knights.

For a time there was peace, and the Digital World flourished. However, like in every tale, this was but the calm before the storm.

Two groups of evil Digimon-- the Seven Great Demon Lords and the Three Musketeers-- formed an alliance and waged war on the Digital World. In the final battle, the Royal Knights were defeated. Imperialdramon Paladin Mode used the last of his power to revert the Knights to DigiEggs, and teleport them to hidden places before the Demon Lords killed him. Meanwhile, Gankoomon escaped the battle, waiting to guide the reincarnated Royal Knights.

Two hundred years have passed, and only small pockets of the Digital World have been able to resist the Alliance’s influence. Among them is Primary Village on File Island, where twelve DigiEggs await their human partners…

Rules

1. All forum rules apply.


2. Seeing as how this is Digimon, keep the story no higher than mid-PG13. This means limiting swearing, violence, ecchi, and the like.


3. No godmodding. This includes controlling/injuring/killing another player’s character without permission; making your character invulnerable, and/or pulling off impossible feats without a REALLY, REALLY good explanation.


4. Be respectful to other players. Treat them how you want to be treated. If two players begin arguing, I’ll have to ask them to take it to PMs.


5. There will be a three-strike rule in the RP: 1st strike will result in a warning to the player via PM and thread; 2nd strike will result in a one-week ban from the RP, as well as injury to one character; 3rd strike will result in a permaban from the RP, and death of all characters.

How Digivolving Works
In this RP, there are two Mega levels, Lesser and Greater. Lesser Megas can Digivolve to Greater Megas through the usage of an object tied to their next form the items are as follows:

D-Knight Digivice
The D-Knight is the Digivice being used. While they can be used to Digivolve a Digimon partner, a new function is activated once Lesser Mega is unlocked: the ability to locate where the object tied to their Greater Mega form is. Once the object is located, it can be broken down into data and stored in the D-Knight’s memory, and then used to Warp Digivolve the partner to Greater Mega.

I see. Good show. I usually run in Casual. Not saying I'm joining, but I'm only in two other RP's now, so why not? However, I'm running one, but the other's almost near an end. I think. Anyway, I promise not to be OP. That being said, I have a few questions- Are OC Knights allowed, or only the Foretold 13? Otherwise, I'd like to use either Alphamon, Sleipmon, or Examon. I don't think you're going to have like, ten players, unless you want to, but I suppose one player with multiple characters could help? I dunno.

Also, since some Knights are rather strong, could there be alternate, more moderate Megas that they get before being Knights? And how much sway space do we have with the forms that aren't a Knight?

Okay, so... there are or aren't Megas before Knight form? What about recolors? To the Digimon preceding the Knight I mean.
And about multiple characters per player, no/yes?

While I'm already in a Digimon one, this plot is just too interesting to pass up. I'm cooking up a personal experiment, so I would like to reserve Jesumon, if that's cool.

Its nothing extravagant :) something small that I really want to see. The way he is now, he's in the background. But I would love to see him be one of the more famous Knights.

Ah, cool. I feel like that's what they want though.
And I'm also a bit disappointed in Bandai for not having any Insectoid Knights, or a Bird, or a Plant, or an Aquatic. And making the last Knight after someone who was decidedly non-combat was a really weird choice.

Cool. Gaioumon for Alphamon, Gaiomon or Slayerdramon for Examon, and SkullMammothmon for Sleipmon sounds like fair? Not sure which I'm doing.
